Nothing to it. I got a copy of the blueprints and they are in what they call 16th scale, or 1/16 inch equals a foot. (1/16 x 12 = 1/192) So I made a couple of copies of the blue prints, they cut out the various decks with scissors and used them as patterns to cut the plastic. Made some spacers to keep the decks the proper distance apart and glued them together. I then glued thin plastic to the lower decks to form the hulls. For the life boats, guns etc. I cheated and bought them in scale from a couple of ship modeling houses. I have purchased a photo etch kit, and plan to produce the rails in photo etch, as well and the ships name plate and other small details. Will upload some photos soon.

What model are you working on? I have not posted much. I am working on a model of the SS/USAT Dorchester in 1/196th scale, in plastic.
