Subject: Model ships ------- Plastic, Scratch, Ship builders?
Well, I see there are fellow married men on the list. :) How about fellow Plastic Scratch builders? (In my best Don Adams, "Would you believe, mostly plastic?")
I have purchased white metal life boats for my USAT Dorchester model. Problem is that by the time I build the davits to scale, the life boats will be way too heavy of the davits. Anybody know where I can get some good plastic 1/200 (oops, I mean 1/16 inch scale) lifeboats? Full size they were 28 foot long.
Interesting item, the SS Dorchester used the same make and model Davits as the RMS Titanic. They must have been bad luck.
