This group is for teachers, parents, and caregivers who use the Montessori Method with infants and toddlers. Dr. Montessori's philosophy encourages the growth of the whole person by respecting and working with the natural processes of development, nurturing mind, body, and spirit. By joining this virtual community, we seek to support and educate one another in our work and lives with children in their first few years of life.

In keeping with Montessori beliefs, group members do not have to belong to any particular professional organization or school in the Montessori world, they may have any level of experience or education, and may certainly belong regardless of religious, ethnic or political affiliations. Respect for each other, the child, and the Montessori Method must guide our interactions. Please use your best judgement in all posts, making them thoughtful, relevant and assuming good intentions from all members. Make friends, and have fun, too!
