NC Deep River Parks group was started as an information site. It contains history of the Deep River, park locations along the rivers meandering path and historic locations along the rivers banks.

Although we are starting with three parks, which are located in Lee and Chatham Counties, parks in other counties will be added if they are bounded by North Carolinas Deep River. Each park will be separated into its own folder, located in the "Files" section, along with any historic information available and directions to the site. Please let us know about your park and any information available so it may be included on this site.

We want to welcome visitors to the NC Deep River Parks group and also to the beautiful parks situated along North Carolinas Deep River banks. These parks belong to you. Please help keep them clean.
