The Northwest Pleasure Tennessee Walking Horse Association (NWPTWHA) is a group of folks who love the Tennessee Walking horse. We enjoy the smooth gait, versatility and cooperative nature of the breed. Our members participate in breed demonstrations, drill team, showing, gaited dressage, endurance, competitive trail, mounted orienteering, jumping, as well as riding their Tennessee Walkers on the trail. There really isn't much that a TWH can't do!

In the NWPTWHA we have a few simple rules. We ride and exhibit only flat shod pleasure horses. We use humane shoeing, tack, training and conditioning to encourage a horse to do its bred in gaits, and we insist on good sportsmanship, horsemanship and most of all we have fun!


Our association is not limited to only the TWH, we welcome any smooth gaited horse folks.
