This list is created with the intent of providing an opportunity to share news, experiences, photos and discussion of maritime and related news in the New York/New Jersey harbor specifically, but also to include north to the New England region and south through Baltimore Harbor. Subject matter would include but not be limited to pleasure craft, commercial or recreational fishing, surfing, diving, beach combing, transportation (Cruise liners & Commuter ferries), Bulkers, Reefers, Tankers, Tug Boats, Container and General Cargo Ships as well as Navy, Coast Guard, employment, industry, environmental concerns, historical & literature, Port Security, economics, manufacturing etc. Ship spotters welcome !!
