Welcome!

We're a Titus 2 Proverbs 31 group for Christian women only who are old fashioned minded homekeepers in a fast-paced modern world that says "get a job!" We desire slower, peaceful simplicity without necessarily being plain (such as Amish/Mennonite, although plain sisters are definitely welcome here!) We have a relaxed, friendly, off-topic atmosphere where even lurkers can be blessed. We practice Biblical headship, covenant marriage, homemaking, modesty, training our children, purity, courtship. We are homekeepers who support and encourage each other as we treasure and discuss things like reading the Bible and praying, caring for our family, homeschooling, friendships, cooking and baking from scratch, aprons, sewing and needlework, gardening and canning, herbs and spices, raising animals, frugal living, writing letters and making/sending cards, a good cup of tea, and things that are lovely and feminine. Prayer is welcome and encouraged. We do not allow "No Mail" settings. No selling or advertising.



We are a Christian group and will not debate or discuss other religions. We also do not debate or discuss politics.

Here at OFCH we will "... avoid foolish and ignorant disputes, knowing that they generate strife." and we will remember "... a servant of the Lord must not quarrel but be gentle to all..." from II Tim 2.

Proverbs 31:25-30
She opens her mouth with wisdom,
And on her tongue is the law of kindness.
She watches over the ways of her household,
And does not eat the bread of idleness.
Her children rise up and call her blessed;
Her husband also, and he praises her:
“Many daughters have done well, But you excel them all.”
Charm is deceitful and beauty is passing,
But a woman who fears the LORD, she shall be praised.
