Click to join OTRRDistroGroup Mission Statement: The mission of the Old Time Radio Researchers is to accurately preserve classic old time radio series from the past in order for future generations to enjoy them. How We Accomplish Our Mission: 1) Conduct research on a series, compiling information from as many sources as we can locate including correct broadcast dates, accurate and complete episode titles(where known), series synopses and other verified information. 2) Make every effort to verify the accuracy and authenticity of the information we have compiled. 3) Attempt to obtain every known episode in a series and label them with the correct broadcast dates, accurate and complete episode titles(where known). 4) Put each series of thorough specific tests to make sure they meet our accuracy, completeness and quality standards before it is made available. Ways Members Can Contribute include:locating documentation such as series scripts, broadcast dates and times, and network promotional materials; searching for previously missing episodes; encoding new material to mp3 format; compiling series broadcast logs; listening to episodes to make sure they are correctly labeled and dated; providing copies of material they might have; providing opening lines of episode dialogue; correcting spelling mistakes in episode titles; providing series synopsis; and any other approved way that contributes to the accomplishment of the Group's Mission.
