Panentheism is a little corner on the net created for the purpose of discussing a Greek term denoting Pan-EN-theism = All-IN-God. This idea differs from pantheism in that the universe is deemed a constituent of God, rather than one and the same. Panentheism is a melding of spirituality and science that the modern, rational mind can accept. Panentheism embraces the findings of science while also embracing spirituality and the existence of God.
Many scientists, theologians, and philophers have written about panentheism in the academic arena. These include: Phillip Clayton, Karl Krause, Paul Davies, Arthur Peacocke, John Polkinghorne, Alfred Whitehead, John Cobb, David Ray Griffin, Matthew Fox and Charles Hartshorne, among many others.
