School is about to start here in Hampshire County WV.

My daughter Frankie will be entering 8th grade. Frankie has had a one-
on-one aide since pre-school, now the school district is trying to tell
me she no longer needs one.

My case worker and I attended her IEP meeting in April of 2008 for the
08/09 school year and advocated the one-on-one aide (Autism Mentor
specifically). Now their telling me they have no money to provide one,
can they do this?

I don't think they can, based on the fact they get state and federal
funds for all special ed kids.
