My name is Monica, and I would like to learn more Chinese and about Chinese
culture. I live in Arkansas (north of Texas), in the South, in the United
States. I'm 18 years old, and start University in the summer. I've been to China
once, in May-June 2007, when we adopted my little sister from China. We went to
Beijing (Juyuyuan section of the Great Wall, Tiananmen Square, and the Forbidden
City, along with a cloisonne factory), then to Taiyuan, Shanxi, to adopt my
sister, then Guangzhou. I leave in a week to visit China again for a little over
a week (Beijing; and Taiyuan, Hong Tong, and Pingyao, Shanxi) to visit some of
the orphanages in Shanxi province.

I speak a little Chinese and would love to learn more, as well as more about the
culture and traveling and living in China.

I like photography, cats (I own 3), and I am an Irish dancer (think Riverdance).
I also love just about everything Chinese or Japanese.
