In 1939-45, my Polish family from eastern Poland was deported by Soviets to Siberia. My family is Roman Catholic and many have not heard of their plight. Many lost their lives in Katyn and these groups of families have not had the freedom to speak. With Poland at last free in 1989, stories can be told. This site is dedicated to the victims that could not speak. Many have heard of the Jewish Holocaust but what they did not hear is of silenced ones that were not Jewish. Now after 68 years it is as if our victims have just woke up from a very long absence. Documents are starting to surface that were missing and accountability in the form of movies, written material and most important eyewitness accounts. Between communist not allowing Poland to speak and Polish families spread to all corner of the world it worked. Families from other country’s are now in search of relatives, graves and family documentation that before now could not be located.

This group is for all victims of all generations. “Poland the silence is broken” reunited under one group to speak in the safety and support of others. Search for loved ones and lost heritage. Sensitivity shall be used as to not offend and at the same time, delicate truths shall be discussed. With this in mind, I look forward to hearing from my each and every member. CAD
