I have built my second Full Scale Civil War Air Cannon. This guy
has so much power, it is impressive. It was made to launch tennis
balls or rolled t-shirts. You can see some of our cannons at
www.VicksburgCannons.com the air cannon is exactly the same as
cannons pictured but with an air nipple for pressurizing. Anyone
interested in a full scale barrel, let me know I will sell my first
2. Starting my 3rd tomorrow. Just send me an email. Carriages are
seperate.
Cool group! I'm very happy to join in the fun. I'm a machinist and
tinkerer and have alot of gun experience and have always wanted to join
in learning more about this "sport" ever since a friend of mine fired a
potatoe across the ramp over a runway to another hanger many yards
away. In fact alot of people are using home made cannons to scare off
birds [which are pests to pilots wanting to fly safely] from the ends
of runways now.

Hello gents, I'm interested in buying the perfect paint-ball cannon
if it already exists and would like to build one if it doesn't.
I want the cannon to be as noise-less as possible while still
being able to launch a softball-sized, to plastic (basketball sized)
beach ball atleast 200 feet accuratly, is this concept already on
someone's drawing board or in production, if so let me know, I'm in
the Charlotte area of North Carolina and you can reach me at

Hey gang!
New to the group, have built several combustion cannon up to a
3.00 calibre and one for frozen water bottles that went through 1"
ply
at 30yrd. This was all fun but would like to build a pneumatic gun
because my nephew is now old enough to get in on the fun but don't
like
the idea of him using cumbustible fluids if I am not around, so I
think
I will start him off with air power. So when he is legally
responsible
for himself then maybe I'll let him go for butane power. The only
pneumatic gun I ever built was in the 10th grade for an engineering
project that shot ping-pong balls and used only .9psi. Should be fun!
Alexander-
Actually pneumatic guns are, in some ways, more dangerous than
combustible. Combustion guns only shoot at around 20 to 30 PSI whereas
pneumatically operated guns can shoot at over 100 PSI. So there's the
danger of the speed of the projectile. There's also some danger in the
idea of a pressurized PVC tank. PVC is known to explode into tiny
pieces at larger pressures. And PVC wears down with age so the older
the gun the more the "oh darn, that wasn't supposed to happen" factor
increases.
In my opinion Pneumatic is definitely more fun with more choices to
experiment with. Although some of the above contingencies are few and
far between, don't just assume that since nothing is exploding it's
safe. If ya want a few plans for pneumatic guns drop me a line and I'll
put together a few links...

23 years ago, I was one of the first people to sign up for a coupon
program (listed below). Despite many people telling me not to because
the company was brand new and the concept seemed to good to be true,
I didn't listen and signed up and I am so glad I did! The savings
were and for 23 years have been outstanding. What I like most about
this company is that they seem to always be researching new programs
to save us more money. Shortly after the coupon book they released a
Kodak film developing and free film program, a few years later they
released an online wholesale gift mall and as seen on tv one stop
store for all the items seen on tv infomercials and most recently
they released the restaurant gift certificate program. I am quite
happy to say that I joined everything that they released and each
program has proven to save me substantial money. I only wish I had
tracked my total savings over the years it must be at least one
hundred thousand dollars! I thought I would share with you my first
hand experiences with this company, here is a copy of the post I read
originally:
Copy of Post:
As amazing as it may sound many people do not realize how easy it is
to LEGALLY stop paying for their groceries! This is how the one hour
television show began for the company whose website is at:
http://savemorethanever.com I thought it was very interesting and
decided to check it out. I am very skeptical by nature so the first
thing I did was check out the company. I contacted the Better
Business Bureau and found that the company has had no complaints
lodged against them, I also contacted Paypal who has verified this
company. They told me that they verified the company's licenses,
bank accounts and other paperwork indicating to them that the
company is legitimate. Then I started asking co-workers and friends
about this program and to my surprise 6 out of the 10 people that I
spoke with were already using this program. They told me how pleased
they were with it and how much money they had saved and are
currently saving. So I decided to sign up for their sampler special
program on 7/26/05. On 8/2/05 I received my complete membership
package and the fun began. Using their program and the free lifetime
membership that it includes I went to the supermarket ready to make a
killing. The cashier rang up my grocery bill and it came out to
$239.87 then I presented her with the coupons I received from this
program and I saved $223.38 - my final bill was only $16.49! The
cashier wasn't the only one shocked. This program has changed my
life!
I have to strongly agree with the recommendations I have heard about the company
at http://savemorethanever.com . I am going to share my actual receipts with you
at http://actualreceipts.visit.ws to show how absolutely amazing this program
is. I will be adding many more receipts in the weeks to follow.Ten years ago I
joined their grocery coupon program and since that time I have been saving a ton
of money every week. In fact in the ten years that have past I can't even
imagine how many of my friends and family members have joined after witnessing
the amount of money that I have saved. The best part is that this company keeps
coming out with new and innovative savings programs. I have joined them all and
I must tell you that they all work incredibly. A couple of years ago I asked
them how it could be that every program they offer works and I was told that
they actually test them prior to offering them and that for every program they
offer, dozens are rejected because they do not meet their standards. It is an
incredible benefit to have a company test these programs so that we don't have
to. I just can't wait until they release their next program! The savings keep
getting bigger and bigger!
If I were to run a pair of these valves, or even one, does the
valve, when modified, automatically reset after firing if I
continually feed air to it? Obviously I would close whatever valve
I'm using for a trigger. I don't want to have to turn my air supply
off.
Thanks!

Some of my friends have managed to meet a few nice ones off this thing (here
is the place they told me: http://www.liveview.info/qievh , but what do you guys
reckon? Myself, I actually think it is pretty awesome from what I've seen, and
Im considering getting on there later on this evening. If you don't know what
it is, basically its like a matchingplace, but has few added things I noticed.
Stuff like messenger, vidchat, picsrate, etc. Best part is you can talk to ppl
on vidchat even if you don't have it enabled yourself.
Hi all. I've built an air cannon using a 1"/25mm sprinkler solenoid
valve as the release. For some reason though I get air flowing through
the valve into the barrel, preventing any significant build up of
pressure. Thinking I had a faulty valve, I bought a similar but
different brand valve and had the same problem. I was wondering if
anyone else has had the same problem and whether I'm doing something
wrong. I've pulled the first valve apart several times to try and work
it out. I think the diaphram doesn't seal properly.
Are you sure it's leaking into the barrel? I've had issues with air
leaking out other places.. If you're sure it's leaking out into the
barrel you could try cleaning the diaphragm..
Make sure the manual release is screwed in all the way too..

Thanks Jesse, but yeah, I'm positive. You can put your hand over the
end of the barrel and feel the air coming out. T
he diaphragm looks clean. Theres a plastic round thing that sits under
the diaphragm inside the inlet part that seems to form the seal with
the diaphragm, and I'm starting to think that is the only place it
could be leaking. I will investigate further.
BTW I'm still open to suggestions.

Hiya all, lets see if we can get some activity going here. I posted
way back with my version of the "TaterHater". I have a vid on
Kontraband at http://tinyurl.com/dpngx . There is a smaller, lower
res version at www.xr650r.us/video/ under "taterhater". The K-Band
vid is much better, much higher res and audio quality.
Anyway, since making the vid I have upgraded the cannon to using 2"
feeders from the rezzies to the 2" barrel. The PVC ball valve has
been replaced by a 1.5" brass ball valve FREE from one of my
customers. Performance was enhanced phenomonally! The 2" steel slugs
are flying roughly 750' when lobbed at a steep, 80 degreeish, angle.
The cannon is now mounted on a post set in the yard. No kick!
A few sources of ammo no one has mentioned before:
Stale Dunkin Donuts donut holes. The jelly filleds make nice
gruesome splat effects!
RedBull cans. Made for cannon launching. Air tight fit in a 2"
barrel! Fill with sand or concrete. Wet sand works best.
Caulking tubes. Find one 1/4 full and these things are almost as
good as the next idea....
The best? Poly sealant tubes used by windshield installers. They are
made of aluminum! Get one 1/3 full and they leave the barrel with a
very satisfying snap, headed for a straight as an arrow flight of
900 feet! I visit or pass by several of these guys on my daily runs.
I have a box of about 50 now that will soon be sitting in a jig to
have ballast added.
Oh, BTW, the 2" slugs I've been using? (Insert schoolgirl giggle
here) They WILL completely pass through a 1971 house trailer at a
range of 450'!!!!! Glad I missed the fine china!
Enjoy all, and be safe......

I know a couple of friends already who have met a few nice honey’s off of
this kind of stuff (here is the site they use:
http://www.simplefuneasy.info/mlfk , but what do you think? I think it is
pretty cool from what I saw at my friend’s house, and am thinking of signing up
later today. Basically it's a regular personalssite, but with an instant message
and Webcam system built in. Basically you join their chat-room on their site it
gives you a link to those people online in the chat-room, their location, their
picture, etc and at one click you can start chatting to them over Webcam (even
if you don't have one). Pretty nifty stuff I think!
Met my fiance here! hehe. Thought I should share it with any other guys
who are worried about ending up alone like I was. Check it out

Damn, it has sure been a while... I just realized today that it's been 18 months
since I went out with a special lady last, but I'm pretty happy to be heading
out tonight. I've had a bit of trouble finding ANY decent women lately so I
joined up at this place a couple of weeks ago http://www.easyhookup.info/masl .
And so far been doing pretty well, just chatting to a few girls near me on
Webcam and via the mail system on the place, but this is the first one I've
lined up. So anyway, wish me luck guys!!
Man, this dude must be one pimply faced, fat arsed, booger eating,
individual to go 18 months without a date, and then have to resort to
the net to find a mate. I'm sure she's quite a catch, all 433lbs of her.
Mmmmmm..... Baby, who's bringin' the Haagen Daas???????
Anyway, I thought I'd bust up the spam here a bit and post two links.
www.xr650r.us/video
www.xr650r.us/cannon
Watch "TaterHater" first, then move onto the cannon directory for some
true destruction.
Enjoy.
Oh, and brittany, sure hope you get what you're looking for. Hee hee.......

Just thought I should pass on my knowledge to all you guys (and gals) on here. I
know just like heaps of other men I am pretty shy when it comes to going up to
someone. I've tried a few different places (clubs, bars, etc) but never seem to
have too much luck. Anyway, a few weeks ago I joined up to
http://www.thousandslikeyou.info/tpbz and I have to say I am already getting
excited. I was beginning to think I'd end up being alone for ever, but already
been talking to a few interested ladies on there. Anyway, if you're like me it
comes highly recommended!
TURN $6.00 INTO $6,000!!!
IT'S SIMPLE AND IT'S LEGAL!!!!!!!
I found this on a bulletin board and decided to try it a little while
back,
I was browsing through news groups just like you are right now and
came
across a article similar to this saying that you could make thousands
of
dollars within weeks with only an initial investment of $6.00!! So I
thought
yeah right. This must be a scam, but like most of us, I was curious,
so
I
kept reading. Anyway it said that you send one dollar to each of the
six
names and addresses stated in the article. You then place your own
name
and
address on the bottom of the list at number six and post the article
to
at
least 200 newsgroups. (there are thousands) No catch that was it. So
after
talking to a few people and thinking it over I decided to give it a
try.
What have I got to lose except 6 stamps and $6.00 right? Then I
invested the
measly six dollars. WELL GUESS WHAT!!! Within 7 days, I started
getting
money in the mail!!! I was shocked. I thought it was going to stop
but
it
just kept coming. In my first week I made $25.00. By the end of the
second
week I had $900.00. In the end of the third week I made $5,000.00!!
It's
still growing right now. This is now my fourth week and I have made a
total
of just over $38,000.00! and it's still coming in rapidly. This is
certainly
worth $6.00 and 6 stamps. I have spent more than that on the
lottery!!
Let
me tell you how this works and most importantly why it works. Also
make
sure
that you print a copy of this article NOW so you can get the
information off
of it as you need it. I promise you that if you follow the directions
exactly, that you will start making more money than you possibly
thought
just by doing something so easy!! SUGGESTION: READ THIS ENTIRE
MESSAGE
CAREFULLY (Print it out or down load it) Follow the simple directions
and
watch the money come in! It's easy. It's legal. And your investment
is
only
$6.00 (plus postage) IMPORTANT: This is not a rip off; it is not
indecent;
it is not illegal; and it is virtually no risk - it really works!!!!!
If all
of the following instructions are adhered to, you will receive
extraordinary
dividends. PLEASE NOTE: follow these directions exactly and $50,000
or
more
can be yours in 20 to 60 days..
This program remains successful because of the honesty and integrity
of
the
participants. Please continue its success by carefully adhering to
the
instructions. You will now become a part of the mail order business.
In
this
business your product is not solid and tangible, it's a service. You
are in
the business of developing a mailing list. Many large corporations
are
happy
to pay big bucks for quality list. However, the money made from the
mailing
list is secondary to the income, which is made from people like you
and
me
asking to be included to that list. Here are the four steps to
success:
STEP 1: Get 6 separate pieces of paper write the following on each
piece of
paper "PLEASE PUT ME ON YOUR MAILING LIST."
STEP 2: Now get 6 us 1dollar bills and place ONE inside EACH of the
six
pieces of paper so the bill will not be seen through the envelope to
prevent
thievery.
STEP 3: Next place one paper in each of the 6 envelopes and seal
them.
MAKE
SURE THERE ARE ENOUGH STAMPS ON YOUR ENVELOPES. You should now have 6
sealed
envelopes, each with a piece of paper stating the above phrase your
name and
address and a $1.00 bill. What you are doing is creating a service.
THIS IS
ABSOLUTELY LEGAL! You are requesting a legitimate service and you are
paying
for it! Like most of us, I was a little skeptical and a little
worried
about
the legal aspects of it all. So I checked it out with the U.S. Post
Office
(1-800-725-2161) and they confirmed that it is indeed legal!!!!!
STEP 4: Mail the six envelopes to the following addresses
#1) Shawn Perry
100 8th Ave. #65
Shalimar, Florida 32579
#2) Daniela
PO Box 422
Fort Walton Beach, Florida 32549
#3) Panagiotis Plevrakis
5454 Cherlane Dr.
Dallas, TX 75206
#4) Camila Kwong
2151 Lapiniere
C.P. 44013
Brossard Quebec
J4W 3K2
CANADA
#5) Ryan Manciu
13292 Mt. Baldy
Reno nevada
89506
#6)K.CAIRNS
4700 COACH HILL DR
GREENVILLE SC 29615
STEP 5: Now take the #1 name off the list that you see above, move
the
other
names up (6 becomes 5, 5 becomes 4, etc.) and add YOUR name as number
6
on
the list.
STEP 6: Change anything you need to but try to keep this article as
original
as possible. Now post your amended article to at least 200 news
groups.
(I
think there are 24,000 groups) All you need is 200, but remember, the
more
you post, the more money you make!** EVERYBODY AROUND THE WORLD CAN
DO
THIS
BUT REMEMBER TO PUT ENOUGH STAMPS ON YOUR ENVELOPES!!!!** This is
perfectly
legal!
If you have any doubts, refer to title 18 sec. 1302 & 1341 of the
postal
lottery laws. Keep a copy of these steps for your self and whenever
you
need
money, you can use it again and again. PLEASE REMEMBER that this
program
remains successful because of the honesty and integrity of the
participants
and by carefully adhering to the directions. Look at it this way, if
you are
of integrity, the program will continue and the money that so many
others
have received will come your way. NOTE: You may want to retain every
name
and address sent to you, either on a computer or a hard copy and keep
the
notes people sent you. This verifies that you are truly providing a
service.
(Remember to wrap the $1 bill in the note to prevent mail theft.)
So as each post is downloaded and the directions carefully followed,
six
members will be reimbursed for their participation as a list
developer
with
one dollar each. Your name will move up the list geometrically so
that
when
your name reaches the #1 spot you will be receiving thousands of
dollars in
CASH!!!!! What an opportunity for only $6.00($1 for each of the six
people
listed above) Send it now, add your own name to the list and you're
in
business!

receiving
money from around the world within days! You may eventually want to
rent a
P.O.Box due to the large amount of mail you will receive. If you wish
to
stay anonymous, you can invent a name to use as long as the postman
will
deliver it. **JUST MAKE SURE THE ADDRESS IS CORRECT**
Just prior to having children, I worked in a large corporation as a
Quality Assurance Specialist for 15 years. My job was to examine
programs to make sure that they offered our clients the best possible
services. Unfortunately this job made me very cynical and very
critical of almost everything that I ever come across. These offers
that are mailed to my home, emails, etc. In fact I think I only made
two recommendations for different programs in my entire life. I am now
ready to make a third. Only because I was with a friend when she
received $197.79 worth of groceries for $12.63 I immediately had an
interest in how she did it. She told me that she joined the sampler
package at http://savemorethanever.com Seeing what she saved I did the
same thing that afternoon. I got the entire kit in about 5 days and
checked out each program while i found a few minor improvements that
could be made the overall quality of each program was better than
anything I have seen in years. The real test was when I went to the
supermarket and saved 87% on my grocery bill. This is one of those
very rare recommendations that I will make!
I met my future wife here! hehe. And thought I should share it with any other
men who are worried about ending up alone like I was. Check it out if you like
