Just thought that I would introduce myself. My name is Jessica and I stumbled
upon your group. I would love to abolish abortion forever. I have never had an
abortion and do not plan to. I am the proud mother of two. A little girl and a
little boy. I would like to tell you a story. A story that will probably really
anger you. So here we go:

I am a single mother. My children's father abandoned us when my son was just a
newborn. Their father left us for another woman. Thanks to their father I lost
custody of my little girl. I have given her up for adoption. That won't make you
mad as this will: their father one day, while I was still pregnant with my son,
told me that he wanted to "get rid of him" meaning my son RJ. I thought of what
he meant and I came to the conclusion that he meant abortion. I thought to
myself "There is no way that I will go through an abortion! That is against in
everything that I stand for and believe in!" I didn't go through it. I packed up
what I could and asked a social worker who was working with me and my children's
father to get me out of that apartment. She knew something was up. After RJ was
born we left. We stayed in a women's shelter for two weeks until I could leave
the state. I know live in Louisiana. So I narrowly got away from having an
abortion. I still can't believe their own father wanted to do that to his own
son!!! How dare he!!! I am still really outraged by what he told me. Well, he
not only got rid of his son (I took him away from his father) he also got rid of
me.

So that is my "experience" with abortion. I almost had one if he had convinced
me. But I stuck to my values and my principles and didn't back down. He thought
I was that blind and stupid. HA HA HA!! I sure fooled him...big time!!

Now my son is happy, healthy and won't let me out of his sight for one minute!!
LOL!!! he is a big momma's boy. That is ok. He has me, his grandparents, his
aunt and uncle here in Louisiana who love him. He has everything in the world
that we can give him. I don't know what I would do without him. We have been
through hell and back. But now we are at peace. My little girl is with a very
loving family who loves her as much as I do. I know she is safe and happy. I do
miss her alot.

I hope you all had a wonderful Christmas and a happy new year!
God Bless!

Jessica

Hi I'm new, just wanted to say hi. I'm very happy that the Pres
signed the ban to partial birth abortions. This is one position I
feel very passionate about! My sister volunteers at a crises
pregnancy center. I work 3rd shift but am trying to work my schedule
out so that I can to. It just blows my mind that people actually
think this is ok to do.
Are their any good pro-life websites out there?
    Thanks April
