Have you ever hosted an Exchange Student before and it turned out to be a nightmare? Did you deal with lying or rude behavior? How about a, "perfect," kid on paper but after they arrived you realize it was the devil incarnate that you were meeting? How about the organization that gave you no support?

This group was started after kicking our ungrateful Exchange Student out of our house. I have met others who have done the same thing and wished we had our own place to vent our frustrations without being judged!   When I got our first student I wished there was a board for venting or even a board to see what kind of problems can happen.  At the time, the only board that existed yelled at host families and told us that we should not be hosting every time we vented or shared a problem.   This was not the kind of, "support," I was looking for. So here it is! We are here to support you all the way!  These are real situations that the glossy brochures don't want to talk about!  Welcome and please ask questions and share your stories!
