Ok first let me say that I'm not a "conspiracy theorist." Mainly because I don't care why "Babylon" does what it does. My only concern are living free, having love in my life and living to a real old age with lots of grand children and great grandchildren.

I only watch Babylon to gether information so I can avoid being trapped by Babylon.

Google and CIA Invest in a Minority Report-Like Technology That May Make Our World a Less Certain Place

An article that appeared Wired Danger Room yesterday reveals that the CIA and Google are now in cahoots to invest in a new company called Recorded Future -- a real-life version of Minority Report, one that's all fact and no fantasy, It's purpose is to know the present and predict the future, totally.

I'm a longtime fan of Google and its mission to "organize the world's information and make it universally accessible and useful." And I applaud its founders and workers' commitment to "Do No Evil." I'm disappointed, therefore, that Google is treating such a potentially dangerous technology, on the scale contemplated by the CIA, as just another investment in IT done up in red, white, and blue bunting. These are smart people. They must know better. What motivates this scheme?
According to writer Noah Schachtman, who broke the Recorded Future story on Wired,

The investment arms of the CIA and Google are both backing a company that monitors the web in real time -- and says it uses that information to predict the future.

The company is called Recorded Future, and it scours tens of thousands of websites, blogs and Twitter accounts to find the relationships between people, organizations, actions and incidents -- both present and still-to-come. In a white paper, the company says its temporal analytics engine "goes beyond search" by "looking at the 'invisible links' between documents that talk about the same, or related, entities and events."

The idea is to figure out for each incident who was involved, where it happened and when it might go down. Recorded Future then plots that chatter, showing online "momentum" for any given event.

"The cool thing is, you can actually predict the curve, in many cases," says company CEO Christopher Ahlberg, a former Swedish Army Ranger with a PhD in computer science.

The technology relies on Google's massive distributed computing power, its global networks, and the fact that nearly everyone on the net uses Google multiple times each day to store and share information to construct plausible pictures of what's happening anywhere in the world and more dangerously for civil liberties, economic markets, political diplomacy, and anything else that relies on a measure of uncertainty and privacy, what's likely to be happening in the world. To again quote Schachtman,

Recorded Future strips from web pages the people, places and activities they mention. The company examines when and where these events happened ("spatial and temporal analysis") and the tone of the document ("sentiment analysis"). Then it applies some artificial-intelligence algorithms to tease out connections between the players. Recorded Future maintains an index with more than 100 million events, hosted on Amazon.com servers. The analysis, however, is on the living web.
"We're right there as it happens," Ahlberg told Danger Room as he clicked through a demonstration. "We can assemble actual real-time dossiers on people."

Recorded Future, invested in by Google Ventures and the CIA's spooky In-Q-Tel VC subsidiary, posits greater certainty but its result could be exactly the opposite, a more uncertain future in which everyone will be gaming everyone else, on Google, Facebook, in books and periodicals, business articles, sports analyses, personal email, podcasts, political flyers -- every human statement and record -- throwing into doubt the veracity of any posting, comment, website, or archive. This happens already on online predictive-market simulations. And YouTube videos are scamming the public comprehension of complex events. Should Recorded Future succeed, it could turn the production and accumulation of information and knowledge into a never-ending race between the forecasters of the future and those who seek to assuage or delude them.

Conceivably in this future, CIA hitmen could be dispatched to eliminate a terrorist suspect even before the suspect knew what terror he or she is about to undertake. That was the premise for Minority Report (based on a story by Philip K. Dick), in which a future "Precrime" police unit fields SWAT teams that take out people before they commit crimes, based on the premonitions of three psychic mutants. Unfortunately, just as with Precrime's mutants, technology can go terribly wrong or be abused and the results can be deadly.

But even more profound, unintended consequences could follow if Recorded Future's predictions are released to the world -- or if they are not and are acted on by only a small cadre of specialists, to the exclusion of others. Either outcome could be catastrophic for financial markets, industrial competition, world economies, and the relations between nations, not to mention individuals' sense of personal security. In that future, an Iran or North Korea will fear not only that its every move can be a cause for war, but that every idea expressed or even just imputed from undisclosed tell-tales may lead to its destruction. The impulse to strike first will no doubt key a preemptive response on both sides of the equation.

Recorded Future's technological success could instigate deadly chess games at all levels between Knowers and The Known, who may often be one and the same, simultaneously. In this sense, Recorded Future technologically is an evolutionary step upward from the Total Information Awareness promoted by the CIA's General Poindexter (kept alive in concept by the CIA), but potentially a socially evolutionary step downward. Only some people will be granted its God's eye view of reality and insights to the future. On their beneficence or villainy could depend the fate of the world as we know it.

Ironically, Google's participation in this project could result in it debasing its own value as a carrier of information shared by others for purposes having nothing to do with the security of the American state, both its governmental wing and the industrial sector that affects national policymaking and, via outsourcing, its technological deployments.

For a fact, private corporations have been using systems like Recorded Future's for over a decade, constantly refining their predictive capabilities. But none has at its disposal the computing power or access to all the world's data that Google and the CIA have between them. Corporations and private investors that can wangle their way into the Company's good graces as collaborators and subcontractors could have a tremendous advantage over their competitors if they can gain access to Recorded Future, even in its infancy.

Schachtman's article doesn't go into great detail on the business relationship between Google and CIA or with their offspring, Recorded Future, or the missions that Recorded Future may be expected to undertake. And because of the shroud of national security that the CIA throws over every development, it's unlikely that anything short of a Congressional hearing will reveal more. However, one thing is certain: those who have a stake in the future -- all of us -- must develop a new awareness for predictive technology and how it can and will be used not only to describe the present but also to forecast the future and, in the process, remake it.
The flip side is that, were Recorded Future's power to become a public asset generally accessible to people around the world (with limitations on critical types of information, like market dynamics), it could be a boon to global awareness and the ability to solve crises like climate change and nuclear disarmament.

Robert David Steele, an intelligence community insider but not in the mainstream, is the author of The New Craft of Intelligence: Personal, Public, & Political - A Citizen's Action Handbook for Fighting Terrorism, Genocide, Disease, Toxic Bombs, & Corruption, a comprehensive primer on "open source intelligence." He posits a world in which citizens, working openly with the tools and information available on the Internet and in other public sources -- this was before Google was going great guns -- can exceed the intelligence capability of the CIA many times over. What was missing, according to Steele, was geotagging of data so that it could be made relevant to problems needing solution, from local issues to global affairs. The New Craft is a striking exposition and a strong refutation of Recorded Future-like pipedreams. Given that Google is now mature and SRI's GeoWeb can provide the universal geotagging process, we might be on the verge of a situation-aware global populace. But is that likely with the CIA in charge? Steele has his doubts.

In his groundbreaking 1992 novel Snow Crash, futurist Neal Stephenson described a successor to the CIA, the CIC -- Central Intelligence Corporation -- a for-profit company that takes over the management role of what was once the U.S. Government, now defunct. It relies on a virtual-world simulacrum, "Earth," as a portal into the Metaverse, the entire collection of all digital knowledge and representations. (Another irony: Earth is a descendant of Google Earth which, according to one of its developers, Avi Bar-Zeev, was inspired by Stephenson's vision of Earth.)

Things go radically wrong in the already data-warped Metaverse and the material world it represents, not least because unsavory people gain access to Earth with its potential for revealing everything they need to know to create a Doomsday scenario. Stephenson's allegory takes some wild bounces, but its lesson for those of us living in the present -- now in the presence of a possible Earth -- is clear.

Now is the time for openness, transparency, and public discussion about what is being proposed via Recorded Future: the power to remake our future and our world, with unexpected consequences that even the most benign benefactors -- even the kind folks at Google -- had best take very, very seriously. This isn't just about the union of business or spycraft, it's existence itself that the digital alchemists are taking in hand.

There are two groups of baby-boomers. Generation Woodstock and generation disco.

The Woodstock generation was cool and put up a good fight for our freedoms. We get to enjoy some really basic but cool stuff due to their "spirit of revolution" attitudes. These things include the right to fuck without having to get married first.

But generation Disco grew up to be assholes and hippocrites. They were the "little brother" that when they were kids sat beside the world war 2 generation bitching about the length of a man's hair. Only to become adults that smoked joints and had accessiable birth control and no propoganda about AIDS. They got great jobs and "did lunch" with their friends or made deals on the golf course. Whereas, generation X was forced to get a PHD in order to get a job driving a taxi.

And it's this generation that is in power. A generation that is arrogant and believes that the solution to every problem is to just buy something new. Most of them have never served in a military and the only horrors of war they have ever seen has been on a propoganda newscast. Whereas genration Woodstock went to Vietnam and Generation X went to the first Gulph war. It is interesting to note that "Generation Internet" (Disco's kids) think that war is nothing more than a video game. Because of today's technology, even when they are in a real tank it still feels like XBox to the soldiers.

So here we are the Neohippies. A group that never was at Woodstock but still sharing the ideas that enough is enough. This bullshit about money and war has got to stop. We need nothing in this world except food, shelter and love.

Because really, is there anything else we need in this world? What more can a person want if they have a roof over their head, a full stomache and someone fondling their private parts. (fondling them not because they were paid to.. but because they want to) So I ask, If you got those things.. Why do in the hell do you need a new car or an XBox?

Now how do we grow the dream again?

First I suggest we find some of the few leftover Woodstock hippies. And we got to get in touch with that belief that we can change the world.

Second, we need to make the Disco Ducks stop quaking and take notice of Gen-Xers. And for that I suggest we find another way to create a Woodstock event or start doing things like trying to levitate the pentegon.

Third, we need music. Not canned and formulated pop crap like Lady Gaga. (Which is only designed to make money and keep the sheep drunk) But music that does what it is supposed to do. Express the sentiments and situation of our times. It's strange but I've noted you can't have a social revolution without music.

If you take an honest look at how we are when we first show up here, we're really very open, friendly and loving creatures. Children will talk to anybody, hug anybody and be their friend makes no matter who they are, they're unconditionally loving and very forgiving. There's no denying that, I don't think. It's only when we've been here for a while, and start to get corrupted by society and treated badly by people over and over again that we start to harden and shut down and become less than friendly. It's not our natural tendency to be that way, but as we get older that becomes our way because society trains us to be a certain way, and we also begin to accumulate painful experiences in our lives. I know for a fact that when you heal your past pain you begin to open back up again and return to your more loving roots. I am living proof of that. Our natural tendency is to be loving and friendly. Not the opposite. It's only because we're shut down and out of touch and asleepto the truth that we become less than that. It's what we slowly become as we get older, not what we are by nature.

In every person’s life there comes a time when they find themselves lost in a sea of doubt.

You know what; you have heard those words before I am sure. There is no point in stating the obvious. I vowed to myself that if I was to take on a project such as this I would pour as much of my heart and soul into it as I could without bleeding myself dry. Using outdated and overused sayings and ideals to get my message through would be an insult to you and the purpose of this work so I will not waste your time. You need to see me, hear me and feel the real me if my words are going to set your spirit free.

So this is me telling you that in my world there is no room for dwelling on mistakes and misfortunes, there is no time to whine and pout about our sorrows. If that seems harsh, then so be it; harsh is what it must be if that is what it takes to inspire you to action.

Every person reading this has known what it is to lose faith; each and every one of you has tasted the bitterness of defeat, looked into the eyes of loss. Even if it was only the smallest of things that you have been forced to give up you know from personal experience how much it hurts to have something you cherish taken away.

The magical wonderful thing about this is that you are still here. You did not quit, you did not give up, you did not walk away from or hide from the challenges that life presents. You lived... You will continue to do so, growing stronger each day in the knowledge that by the power of your will, by the discovery of your own inner strength and courage you will be here to fight another day.

There are those out there who claim that merely writing the words is not enough; that the stories we share do not have a large enough impact on our world. I admit this idea had me folding in on myself. For one such as me whose passion it is to learn and share through her writing the things she has seen, the thought of my contribution not being enough came close to destroying the very core of who I am. Yet when I took the time to reflect on it, I realized just how powerful words can be.

They say the pen is mightier than the sword so I say ‘Out pen!! – Parry parry – thrust – lunge – Out pen!! For Victory!!

Yes I did publish this in my real name and yes times they have changed. I will not take up much of yours since I imagine you would like to get into the act of reading about those who have willingly opened up their hearts to help heal yours but I will leave you with a quick message.

When I originally began this book I was still recovering from the very strange experience of writing Going Home to Heaven, a surreal little adventure into the deepest recesses of the mind to dig out some new and old truths that I thought at the time needed to be shared. Half way through however I was reminded that the real world work, the work that still needed doing here on earth would not simply get done by itself so I was kicked out and landed back both feet firmly planted on good old terra firma.

Nearing the end of my second novel I had mentioned a little side trip to do a novel based on the opinions and desires of our youth, and it is a novel I still fully intend to write however it seems our side trip is again being diverted and the path ever twisting and unpredictable is yet again taking me in a direction I had not planned to go, yet it is I believe a direction that may just benefit us all.

Now I admit, Going Home to heaven was rather twisted, and for some a little bit more up in your face than they would have liked but at the time it was needed, not just for you the reader but for me as well. Since the writing of it I have gone back to diving into some work that involves a group of young artist overseas and did for a time take some time off to explore some other avenues. I have learnt a few things, had my heart broken a couple more times and been disappointed by the actions of others more than once since beginning this novel yet to honour the spirit in which the idea for this novel was birthed I will not give up on the idea of it nor will I stop in the creation of it.

It will however be a tad different than what you are used to. There will be no double or triple meanings in this novel, no metaphors, no buried messages and all the thoughts and feelings held within will be coming from a very human place. Although arguably this novel given the title for it could in fact be the sequel for Going Home to Heaven it is a standalone piece of work and in retrospect it is not so much a sequel it is more in opposition to. In this wonderful world we live life is often about balance, where there is light so too must there be dark – this novel is the other half of Going Home to Heaven – it is the yin to the yang – the male to the female – that which brings back balance into our lives.

I chose to do this because I saw the vast potential of human experience when shared with others and realized that it is not in hiding our imperfections but in revealing them that we may truly utilize the gifts we are blessed with and get on with the enormous task of healing our injured world. By using the lessons learned from our mistakes to bring comfort and reassurance to others that they are not alone we are able to overcome our own time seemingly lost in darkness and acknowledge the fact that no time that we have lived has been wasted, that all life regardless of how it is lived has value. This fact driven home to me often in the last few months is vital to our advancement as a human family and it helps to unify us in times of trial.

We are not one of us perfect in our actions and our deeds yet we are each and every one of us divine perfection in the hearts, eyes and minds of the spirits that created and shelter us it is merely up to us to accept that perfection and that connection as forever being ours to have and to hold till long after death do us part. As you read through the following pages you will see that you are not and never have been alone in your pain, your sorrow or your sense of loss. If one truly takes the time to transverse the histories it can be discovered that even those who have come before have had their own trials. Mother Theresa, Ghandi, Dahli Lama and yes even Jesus all admitted to having doubts, to giving into fear and to questioning their direction and their purpose. What made them so unique was that they kept walking forward, and even with tears streaming down their faces, not able to see the road ahead knew that it was a road that must be walked. Then again once you read these pages you will see perhaps they are not so different than you, than me, than us. They suffered and overcame as you in time will as well; because as much as this book has been written to balance out that other crazy tale the message is and always will be the same. From the base teachings of every single belief, from Native American teachings, to ancient Egyptian, to Buddha to Christianity the one thing they all agree on is if you truly wish to rise above our personal darkness all you need do is know in your heart that the light is there and allow your heart, the whispers of it that will always be there to guide you to help you find your way back to a place where peace and love reign supreme.

Yes, I did go home to heaven, but I came back to Earth so that together we could heal humanity through the act of bonding and sharing. As it is through compassion and acceptance that as one global family we will bring heaven here to earth just as it was promised so very long ago.

For Those of You Asking WHY?

Life is about two things, choice and perception; you choose how you perceive your world, when you make the choice to change your perceptions of it your world in turn changes.

Choice, in the beginning throughout the journey and even at the end of the road, life is all about choice. Ask any survivor what the key to their success was and they will tell you they made the conscious decision to fight and to win.

I would know, I’ve been there, more than once in my short yet fully lived 34 years. It seemed at one point that no matter what I did pain and loss were going to have to be accepted by me as being part of my life. Until that is I chose to change my perception of the challenges I was facing. The day I decided to view all my misfortune as a window of opportunity is the day I was given the most precious of gifts. I was given back my life...

Literally reborn in one swift flash of understanding. The knowledge that my troubled self would and could only be changed by me should have and could have come as a harsh slap in the face. Instead I chose to say thank-you for the insight and set about changing myself and inevitably my future. This however is not the time to talk about me; this book is about you and about the people in it. It’s interesting though that as I am writing this I am in attendance of a Grade 8 graduation waiting for the ceremony to start. On the cover of the program, is a list of words we should all consider the meaning of.

Perseverance...

As simple as it seems to some this idea of never giving up the actual act of continuing to walk forward with no idea of where you feet are going to land next is quite tricky. Let’s be completely ‘honest’ (another of the words listed but we will get back to that) when you are so far lost in despair that body is ready to give up the next two questions might not easily be answered. Where do you turn? Where do you get the strength to keep going?

Let me share a little bit of me. I cry, often and though I would love for all of you to see me as a constant source of light, it simply isn’t so. I am human and I have incredibly painful moments of weakness. I war with myself constantly, even going so far as to scream at that little voice inside my head that is always telling me to have faith. Picture it just for a moment; me sitting by my balcony door, on the floor, knees up to my chin with tears streaming down my face. Inside my thoughts tumble loudly like shoes in a dryer, thump, thump, thump...

Where is the love?

Where is the hope?

Where is the help I was promised?

Thump, thump, thump...

Yes, I’m alone at these moments; I try very hard to hide this pathetic show of self destruction from others. I work very hard at never letting them see me down. I do not always succeed and somehow, someway a strange thing always happens. Without me having to reach out, without me attempting to find support, a miracle message manages to arrive just in time to save my soul.

So there I sit, and the little voice is telling me to have faith and I am mentally screaming at that little voice to go to hell when my phone begins to vibrate; it’s a random message from a friend “hi – I love you – have faith “Not so strange these things in my world, little miracles that they are, they happen every day. Of course that is only one example, I can’t count the emails, text messages, random encounters and other odd happenings that have served to dry my tears over the years. I only know beyond a shadow of a doubt, that there will always be somebody or something to lift me up and put me back on my feet. The trick it seems is to wait patiently unitl help arrives, this I am still learning to do.

That my friends takes courage and that is the next word on our list.

Does it mean never being afraid? Certainly not, fear it seems is part of life; as much as I work at never fearing I am afraid I still have one major fear left to concur. The fear of failure. Death, that I can face, pain I can deal with; not fulfilling my purpose here that I cannot and will not accept. Maybe it’s not so much that I am afraid of failing and perhaps it it’s more that I am too stubborn to admit defeat. Is that courage? I don’t think so; I think it’s just being pig headed.

What then is this thing they call courage? Courage is being told you don’t have a chance of succeeding then going ahead and doing it anyways. Courage is being told that there is no hope and them proving the teller wrong. Courage is looking into the mirror and thinking you aren’t strong enough and then going out into the world and proving yourself wrong.

Where does it come from this thing they call courage? What does it look like?

We are going to show you; in these pages you will see several acts of courage, you will explore the hearts of those who committed those acts and take a walk with them for a short time as they discovery their inner strength. Some of these acts may boggle the mind and leave the sense stunned, not for the fact that these things happen to people, maybe not even for the fact that they survived but for the fact that they are courageous enough to revisit those times dark times in the hopes of helping you through yours.

We will show you that courage is not something you need seek, that it is in fact already within you; all you need do is allow it to come out. Gently and with a loving hand we will show you how.

Why are we doing this?

Well I have another word for you...

It is called responsibility, as survivors, as victors, we hold within us a certain sense of responsibility for the welfare and wellbeing of others. The way we see it is, is we were blessed with the gifts that allowed us to heal ourselves it would be beyond selfish of us not to share. If even one of our stories touches even one heart we will have given back part of the precious bounties we ourselves have received. You see though we may not be ‘responsible’ for you as an individual we are responsible for our own actions and deeds. If sharing those with you inspires you to find your way out of your dark place then we have done what we came here to do.

We are after all trying to be fair about all this (‘fairness’ another of our list of ten). We found a way, a path of albeit sometimes slippery stones that we were able to use to cross the river of life’s challenges. Would it be fair for us to stand on the other side and wish you luck in crossing or fair for us to cross back over and walk with you so you know where to step.

We will take the ‘initiative’ and risk the treacherous crossing to come back and stand by your side. We won’t wait for you to ask, we know ourselves that it is in our darkest hour is when we are most often refuse to ask for a lamp.

We know because we are ‘empathic’ to your plight, we have been where you now are. We have wept as you now weep, trembled as you now tremble and we still are here with you today to reassure you that yes this too shall pass.

You see we are very ‘optimistic’ about your chances of success. We encourage you also to think in this way as we know that as you think, therefore, as you are. I think therefore I am is not some outdated cliché – it is in actual fact a very real truth about how our world works. Never underestimate the power of your thoughts, the power of your will. If you wish to beat this then consider your battle already won. If you want to be well, see yourself as healed, see yourself as whole, see yourself as complete. Find whatever little thing it is that brings you joy and latch onto it. It is your life raft, it is what when all else fails will keep you afloat. Hold onto that joy and let it carry you up and out of your place of loss and sorrow. Use the feeling of it to become light and being light you can no longer be trapped or contained; all you can do as light is shine.

We share these things with you because we ‘respect’ you for making it this far. As it is that if you have purchased this book we already know you have chosen to fight. We are willingly here to help you do just that.

The how of it all is easy and I did promise to get back to this. We will be ‘honest’, we will open up our hearts to you, bare our souls and reveal to you the core spirit of who we are. Please understand this may not always be pleasant so if you are looking for only pretty words you may not find them here. What you will find however is an honest representation of what it means to be a survivor, no holds barred, no sugar coating to sweeten your disposition. Here you will find truth, and that is at the end of the day the most important thing we may ever do, for both us and for you, is to share with you our truth.

This brings me to the last word.

A quality or state of being complete of undivided – completeness

We representing the spirit that enabled and inspired our victory we and adhering to the expectations and standards of that spirit are here to do our small part to help change our world for the better.

Heart and soul poured onto paper, we are going to rip open every old wound we have and bleed out all our pain and sorrow; then we are going to work with you the reader to stitch up all our torn hearts into one collective show of strength.

Sound painful? It will be. For those of us who are revisiting our darkest hour I doubt very much it will be taken on without the knowledge that it may very well hurt like hell.

At the end of however we will be whole, the healing process will be complete and you will see with your own eyes what it means to live, breathe and be Victory.

10 words that are being drilled into the hearts and minds of our youth as being the tem most important character traits they could ever learn.

10 words that give me a chance to tell you that we are here because we care, we are here because we have been there, we are here because we very badly wish for you to be here with us.

So if we have to we will crawl across that last slippery rock dragging your reluctant and weakened body. When we get to the other side (when because we do not do if) when we get there all we ask is that you take what you learned, use the strength you have gained and wade back into the waters to pull the next person ashore.

If you need us, we will be sitting on the side of the river catching our breathe and resting up for our next big challenge. If we need you, by the time this is finished we are sure you will be more than strong enough and no doubt restless and eager for the task.

All right, enough prattle; let’s get on with it shall we; that not so insignificant task we call the Healing of Humanity.

The Children of SOTH

Our first story comes in the form of a collision, the inevitable crushing pain that comes when two worlds collide.

They didn’t ask for it, or maybe they did; as it stands how it came about no longer matters, what matters is what they do with what they have.

A little known secret, the one often alluded to in my first two novels is that all is not always as it seems. There is an ancient form of magic that has been confounding spectators for centuries. To take and object and make it disappear in one place, then have it reappear in another is a simple feat if and only if you can manage to tap into the knowledge that allows for the manipulation of the minds of those watching.

Sleight of hand, the oldest and simplest form of magical entertainment and oh so much more difficult than it sounds. Get their attention, and then direct it wherever you wish allowing you to freely and safely do whatever you wish in the area that they are not focussed on.

What does that have to do with survival? Well in our world, there are still those who would wish oppression and poverty to continue. As disgusting as that sounds it is all about power; the power to rule, the power to make the decisions, the power to create whatever world they wish. Make no mistake, that world is not always about you; if you fit in with the plans of those who would be in control then they will leave you alone, if you do not they will do whatever they can to shut you down.

Fortunately for many they have realized the true power resides within, that the need to control is really just a pathetic attempt to have something to feel worthy of. It is in the release of that control, in the surrendering to life that truly frees the soul. Once free, you will never be trapped again.

Our story begins when a young woman who thought she knew where she was headed found herself on the other side of the world. Of course the story that should be told within these pages is not hers, not the story that needs to be told now is the story of the children who changed her life.

It started innocently enough, a curiosity about the culture of the place she was in. A desire to know and learn about the hearts of the people she was blessed enough to find herself surrounded by. A hunger to find the spirit behind the gentle smiles she was graced with every day.

Having noticed during her wanderings that here in a place where there was obvious wealth and a richness of resources there was also a glaring obscenity that assaulted the senses. Poverty, homelessness and hungry children; starvation and never ending struggle. How could it be that in the streets of a wealthy city there sleeping in doorways could be found barely clothed innocents with no home to seek shelter in, no parent to go to for comfort or love?

There is a distinct difference between hearing about a third world country and seeing it firsthand. Were it not for the irrepressible spirit of the Filipino people the experience may have had a devastating effect. It did not.

There among the people who had so little she found a gift more precious than gold; she found hope and faith hidden among the refuse of corruption and lies. In the form of a small group of tiny warriors she found not only a purpose but the strength to fulfil it.

They play music to lift their spirits and rejoice in their salvation. One has to wonder from where such light out of the darkness comes.

You need not look any further than the driving force behind Shepherd of The Hills. For the parents of 100 orphaned children Mother Ruth and Father Nathan, losing hope is not ever an option. If you need to see the faces of those who have danced with the devil and won, you need only to look in their eyes. There is a calm reassuring serenity about them, a comforting presence that says regardless of the odds, good will in the end prevail. Their strength of purpose is passed onto their children through their work. Many a long tiring day is spent instilling in their young the value of family and faith.

They have not had it easy; having been handed down the children’s home by Nathans parents it was a testament to the remarkable bond of husband and wife that they still remain strong in their marriage. You see Ruth admits that this kind of life was not exactly what she had in mind. Their own children eat, sleep, learn and grow with the children who have been rescued from the streets. Home schooling is a must, as the cost of sending them out would be too much. There is a constant working and reworking of the programs and long hours are dedicated to ensuring that basic educational and artistic needs are met. What make SOTH so unique is the marriage of arts, education and a sting spiritual base. Being a Christian children’s home the basic fundamental principles of Christian teachings dictate their every move. Forgiveness, compassion and understanding are the core of what they teach; and always above all a strong commitment to the needs of your fellow man.

The children of SOTH stand strong together united against the world, one family in total support of each family member’s individual talents and dreams.

Sounds amazing doesn’t it?

What you need to remember as you read this is that there children were once children on the street. Scavengers from the city dumps, eking out and existence, digging through refuse for clothes and a meal. Abandoned by parents unable to care for their young, they would wander the streets devoid of hope or a home. Some were found as infants, in the trash or simply by the side of the road, some were handed over by hospitals where they had been left by the ones who were supposed to call them their own.

What you also need to remember is that these children did not ask to be born into a world where it is apparently acceptable for our young to be forced into slavery, prostitution and a life of crime. Yes, that’s right; if you have not seen it then quite frankly in my mind you are far too sheltered by your own prosperity. No they did not ask for it. They did not decide that they would come here, birthed of women too young to be mothers. They did not ask to have addicts for parents nor did they ask to have the importance of their parents addiction put before their own health, safety and security.

Do you think for one moment they wanted to spend their days in the streets begging only to hand over what they make to some ego maniac fattened on their misfortune crime boss? Do they wish for their lives to be threatened if they do not manage to convince enough people throughout the day to give them coin. Do they want to be beaten and maimed so that they look just helpless enough to elicit feelings of sympathy from a passing stranger? It that the life they chose?

Is it the life you would choose at the tender age of 10 or 8 or even 6 yrs? Is it the life you would choose for your own children? Then why is it ok for them?

Some say it is NOT ok; people like Nathan and Ruth do not stand idly by while innocent blood is spilt on the streets of their city. No, they fight, the only way they know how. With tenderness, love and a gentle healing hand; they the shepherds guard their flock and ward off the wolves that would prey on innocent’s lambs.

They do not have to; they could have turned their backs like so many before them. Ruth shared with me once that she had dreams for her own children, dreams for herself. In incredibly talented vocally had she dedicated her life to her art there is no telling the fame and fortune she may have experienced, she found however in her work, in her role of mother a wealth that far exceeds what the world outside could provide. She found peace and sense of inner serenity that nothing can shatter.

The struggles of this family are too numerous to mention, eve those that work with the organization do not always make enough to maintain their own households. There were and are times when the money is just not there. Yet they persevere, by sticking together they take the weight of a hundred small hearts and determined they encourage each heart to find its own individual beat.

They have big dreams this little family. They believe the children in their care should grow to be strong and independent. They work on projects that would make the children’s home self sustaining so they would no longer need to rely on the generosity of others.

They promote wellness and a strong sense of self by encouraging and recognizing artistic talents. They fully expect to succeed; even though they are trapped in a world where greed and the lust for power reign supreme they believe and turn to the power of their faith. I believe in them...

Does the story end there?

No, as with all good stories it has no defined ending; only growth and expansion.

When our young woman stumbled into their world and was accepted and welcomed warmly her eyes were opened to the true beauty of the human spirit. Her heart was set free and her spirit began to soar; she vowed that someday she would find a way to thank them for the precious gift of hope that they had given.

Over a year has passed (much more no doubt by the time you read this) and she has not much yet to offer. Her work it seems took her away for a time from that world and she wonders now if they think she forgotten, No money with which to help them all the has left now is her word and a story she promised someday she would tell.

There was a project begun shortly after she left, designed to provide income for the home and to raise awareness for the children on the streets. A movie they would make to tell the tale and inspire others to join the fight against poverty and oppression, a movie that still to this day has not yet been completed. Wall upon wall they came up against and discovered that sometimes no matter how much you care it just isn’t enough. Still they kept going these intrepid film makers, over a year of carting a camera around, never knowing if or when the footage they so cherished would see the light of day.

Letters written, please for help made and door after door slammed in their face. Still the tape rolls documenting it all that the pen strokes each no, writing it for eternity on a wall of shame; shame for those who turn their backs, shame for those who walk away, shame for those who would say my new shoes and a night out at the bar are much more important than the life of one small child.

For every amazing person who supported the plight to bring these children’s stories to the world a hundred more looked the other way.

Cries of, ‘but they are not our children’ rang loud in our ears yet by some miracle we are still here.

Life is about choice and perception; you can choose to perceive this as a tale of defeat of you can choose to perceive it as a story of victory.

You see film finished or not, you have still heard their tale. So the story was still told, which means we succeeded, You may choose to take this as an opportunity to seek out these amazing creatures and see for yourself what it means to have faith, or like so many before you may chose to walk away.

Wither way you have shared with them their pain and their joy and will now carry that with you for the rest of your days.

In your darkest hour, when you feel at your most weak remember the children of SOTH. Remember the courage it takes for one small child to come off the streets and learn to live fee of the pain they have known since birth. Remember how only a short time spent with a small group of children changed the course of one woman’s destiny.

Let it serve as a reminder to all, that the smallest act can in fact safe a life and that courage is not about not being afraid it is about going on in spite of the fear.

Someday I know you will see their name in lights, unitl then hold their light in your hearts and allow the faith and hope they shared to guide you out of the dark.

Once upon a time a great tribe of people lived in a world far away from ours. Whether far away in space, or in time, or even outside of time, we do not know. They lived in a state of enchantment and joy that few of us today dare to believe could exist, except in those exceptional peak experiences when we glimpse the true potential of life and mind. One day the shaman of the tribe called a meeting. They gathered around him, and he spoke very solemnly. "My friends," he said, "there is a world that needs our help. It is called earth, and its fate hangs in the balance. Its humans have reached a critical point in their collective birthing, and they will be stillborn without our help. Who would like to volunteer for a mission to this time and place, and render service to humanity?" "Tell us more about his mission," they asked. "I am glad you asked, because it is no small thing. I will put you into a deep, deep trance, so complete that you will forget who you are. You will live a human life, and in the beginning you will completely forget your origins. You will forget even our language and your own true name. You will be separated from the wonder and beauty of our world, and from the love that bathes us all. You will miss it deeply, yet you will not know what it is you are missing. You will only remember the love and beauty that we know to be normal as a longing in your heart. Your memory will take the form of an intuitive knowledge, as you plunge into the painfully marred earth, that a more beautiful world is possible. "As you grow up in that world, your knowledge will be under constant assault. You will be told in a million ways that a world of destruction, violence, drudgery, anxiety, and degradation is normal. You may go through a time when you are completely alone, with no allies to affirm your knowledge of a more beautiful world. You may plunge into a depth of despair that we, in our world of light, cannot imagine. But no matter what, a spark of knowledge will never leave you. As the condition of the planet earth reaches crisis proportions, your paths will cross more and more. The time of loneliness, the time of thinking you might be crazy, will be over. "You will find the people of your tribe all over the earth, and become aware of them through the long-distance communication technologies used on that planet. But the real shift, the real quickening, will happen in face-to-face gatherings in special places on earth. When many of you gather together you will launch a new stage on your journey, a journey which, I assure you, will end where it began. Then, the mission that lay unconscious within you will flower into consciousness. Your intuitive rebellion against the world presented you as normal will become an explicit quest to create a more beautiful one. "In the time of loneliness, you will always be seeking to reassure yourself that you are not crazy. You will do that by telling people all about what is wrong with the world, and you will feel a sense of betrayal when they don't listen to you. You will be hungry for stories of wrongness, atrocity, and ecological destruction, all of which confirm the validity of your intuition that a more beautiful world exists. But after you have fully received the help I will send you, and the quickening of your gatherings, you will no longer need to do that. Because, you will Know. Your energy will thereafter turn toward actively creating that more beautiful world." A tribeswoman asked the shaman, "How do you know this will work? Are you sure your shamanic powers are great enough to send us on such a journey?" The shaman replied, "I know it will work because I have done it many times before. Many have already been sent to earth, to live human lives, and to lay the groundwork for the mission you will undertake now. I've been practicing! The only difference now is that many of you will venture there at once. What is new in the time you will live in, is that the Gatherings are beginning to happen." A tribesman asked, "Is there a danger we will become lost in that world, and never wake up from the shamanic trance? Is there a danger that the despair, the cynicism, the pain of separation will be so great that it will extinguish the spark of hope, the spark of our true selves and origin, and that we will separated from our beloved ones forever?" The shaman replied, "That is impossible. The more deeply you get lost, the more powerful the help I will send you. You might experience it at the time as a collapse of your personal world, the loss of everything important to you. Later you will recognize the gift within it. We will never abandon you." Another man asked, "Is it possible that our mission will fail, and that this planet, earth, will perish?" The shaman replied, "I will answer your question with a paradox. It is impossible that your mission will fail. Yet, its success hangs on your own actions. The fate of the world is in your hands. The key to this paradox lies within you, in the feeling you carry that each of your actions, even your personal, secret struggles within, has cosmic significance. You will know then, as you do now, that everything you do matters. God sees everything." There were no more questions. The volunteers gathered in a circle, and the shaman went to each one. The last thing each was aware of was the shaman blowing smoke in his face. They entered a deep trance and dreamed themselves into the world where we find ourselves today. **** Who are these missionaries from the more beautiful world? You and I are surely among them. Where else could this longing come from, for this magical place to be found nowhere on earth, this beautiful time outside of time? It comes from our intuitive knowledge of our origin and destination. The longing, indomitable, will never settle for a world that is less. Against all reason, we look upon the horrors of our age, mounting over the millennia, and we say NO, it does not have to be this way! We know it, because we have been there. We carry in our souls the knowledge that a more beautiful world is possible. Reason says it is impossible; reason says that even to slow -- much less reverse -- the degradation of the planet is an impossible task: politically unfeasible, opposed by the Money Power and its oligarchies. It is true that those powers will fight to uphold the world we have known. Their allies lurk within even ourselves: despair, cynicism, and resignation to carving out a life that is "good enough" for me and mine. But we of the tribe know better. In the darkest despair a spark of hope lies inextinguishable within us, ready to be fanned into flames at the slightest turn of good news. However compelling the cynicism, a jejune idealism lives within us, always ready to believe, always ready to look upon new possibilities with fresh eyes, surviving despite infinite disappointments. And however resigned we may have felt, our aggrandizement of me and mine is half-hearted, for part of our energy is looking elsewhere, outward toward our true mission. I would like to advise caution against dividing the world into two types of people, those who are of the tribe and those who are not. How often have you felt like an alien in a world of people who don't get it and don't care? The irony is that nearly everyone feels that way, deep down. When we are young the feeling of mission and the sense of magnificent origins and a magnificent destination is strong. Any career or way of life lived in betrayal of that knowing is painful, and can only be maintained through an inner struggle that shuts down a part of our being. For a time, we can keep ourselves functioning through various kinds of addictions or trivial pleasures to consume the life force and dull the pain. In earlier times, we might have kept the sense of mission and destiny buried for a lifetime, and called that condition maturity. Times are changing now though, as millions of people are awakening to their mission all at the same time. The condition of the planet is waking us up. Another way to put it, is that we are becoming young again. When you feel that sense of alienation, when you look upon that sea of faces mired so inextricably in the old world and fighting to maintain it, think back to a time when you too were, to all outside appearances, a full and willing participant in that world as well. The same spark of revolution you carried then, the same secret refusal, dwells in all people. How was it that you finally stopped fighting it? How was it that you came to realize that you were right all along, that the world offered to us is wrong, and that no life is worth living that does not in some way strive to create a better one? How was it that it became intolerable to devote your life energy toward the perpetuation of the old world? Most likely, it happened when the old world fell apart around your ears. As the multiple crises of money, health, energy, ecology, and more converge upon us, the world is going to collapse for millions more. We must stand ready to welcome them into the tribe. We must stand ready to welcome them back home. The time of loneliness, of walking the path alone, of thinking maybe the world is right and I am wrong for refusing to participate fully in it... that time is over. For years we walked around talking about how wrong everything is: the political system, the educational system, religious institutions, the military-industrial complex, the banking industry, the medical system -- really, any system you study deeply enough. We needed to talk about it because we needed to assure ourselves that we were not, in fact, crazy. We needed as well to talk about alternatives, the way things should be. "We" should eliminate CFCs. "They" should stop cutting down the rain forests. "The government" should declare no fishing zones. This talk, too, was necessary, for it validated our vision of the world that could be: a peaceful and exuberant humanity living in co-creative partnership with a wild garden earth. The time, though, for talking merely to assure ourselves that we are right is coming to an end. People everywhere are tired of it, tired of attending yet another lecture, organizing yet another discussion group online. We want more. A few weeks ago as I was preparing for a speaking trip to Oregon, the organizers told me, "These people don't need to be told what the problems are. They don't even need to be told what the solutions are. They already know that, and many of them are already in action. What they want is to take their activism to the next level." To do that, to fully step into one's mission here on earth, one must experience an inner shift that cannot be merely willed upon oneself. It does not normally happen through the gathering or receiving of information, but through various kinds of experiences that reach deep into our unconscious minds. Whenever I am blessed with such an experience, I get the sense that some benevolent yet pitiless power -- the shaman in the story -- has reached across the void to quicken me, to reorganize my DNA, to rewire my nervous system. I come away changed. One way it happens is through the "gathering of the tribe" I described in this story. I think many people who attended the recent Reality Sandwich retreat in Utah experienced something like this. Such gatherings are happening now all over the world. You go back, perhaps, to "real life" afterwards, but it no longer seems so real. Your perceptions and priorities change. New possibilities emerge. Instead of feeling stuck in your routines, life changes around you at a vertiginous pace. The unthinkable becomes commonsense and the impossible becomes easy. It may not happen right away, but once the internal shift has occurred, it is inevitable. Here I am, a speaker and a writer, going on about how the time for mere talk has ended. Yet not all words are mere talk. A spirit can ride the vehicle of words, a spirit that is larger than, yet not separate from, their meaning. Sometimes I find that when I bow into service, that spirit inhabits the space in which I speak and affects all present. A sacredness infuses our conversations and the non-verbal experiences that are becoming part of my events. In the absence of that sacredness, I feel like a smart-ass, up there entertaining people and telling them information they could just as easily read online. Last Friday night I spoke on a panel in New York, one of three smart-asses, and I think many in the audience left disappointed (though maybe not as disappointed as I was in myself). We are looking for something more, and it is finding us. The revolutionary spark of our true mission has been fanned into flames before, only to return again to an ember. You may remember an acid trip in 1975, a Grateful Dead concert in 1982, a kundalini awakening in 1999 -- an event that, in the midst of it, you knew was real, a privileged glimpse into a future that can actually manifest. Then later, as its reality faded into memory and the inertial routines of life consumed you, you perhaps dismissed it and all such experiences as an excursion from life, a mere "trip." But something in you knows it was real, realer than the routines of normalcy. Today, such experiences are accelerating in frequency even as "normal" falls apart. We are at the beginning of a new phase. Our gatherings are not a substitute for action; they are an initiation into a state of being from which the necessary kinds of actions arise. Soon you will say, with wonder and serenity, "I know what to do, and I trust myself to do it."

R… The sound of the letter R is the sound of the virtue of freedom and independence. It is the virtue of listening to the inner voice of guidance. In this first R, of the two in our name, the mastery of this virtue gives clear inner guidance that is in complete harmony with Divine Providence, so no mistake is ever made.

Because the divine virtue of free will is the extension of Divine Mind operating within each being, a high state of maturity and ingenuity is gained through this virtue that allows sensitive creativity to ‘develop an “eminent mind”, including impeccable respect for and service to absolute law’.

It has a golden color, the note of C, and is the earth element, so it is felt with a sensation of weight. The left nostril is formed from this virtue.

I… The sound of the letter I is the Divine Virtue of Cause and Effect. This first I, of the two in our name, represents the law of evolution of everything. This law gives the understanding and mastery of the akasha, or subtle pre-matter principle. The sensation of akasha is ‘consciousness-penetrating-all.’ The understanding of cause and effect also enables the perfection of memory and conscience.

The letter “I” with its light opalescent color, representing the law of cause and effect, is the spiritual essence of the left kidney. This virtue is of the earth element, so it has the sensation of weight. The musical note is G.

N… This sound in the ancient language is the virtue of Supreme Happiness. In the intellect, this virtue controls the connection between mind and heart, or thought and emotions. Emotion is the precursor of manifestation on the physical plane.

Mastering this virtue enables one to help others solve any problem. On the emotional level, mastery over the drive for self-preservation and control over any being is gained. On the physical level mastery over cohesion, or the power of coherence or gravity is gained.

This virtue has a deep red color, the musical note of A, is of the water element of feeling and has the sensation of coolness. The liver of all beings was formed by this virtue.

I…The second I, represents this virtue on the material level. ‘A person mastering this divine virtue evokes the greatest miracles in the material world by using the respective analogies to shape, measure, number and weight. Shape, measure, number and weight are the chief components of the material world, and by getting this divine virtue under control, a person becomes their complete master.’

R… This virtue, the virtue of freedom and independence, awakens freedom and independence which is grounded in impeccable devotion to serving the highest good of all through attunement with the Unified Field, Divine Consciousness, and the Web of Life.

A… This sound, the soft ahhhh of a sigh, is the sound of wisdom and enlightenment in its highest form, which gives the purity of all ideas in their original form.

M… The letter M represents the divine virtue of FEELING. This virtue is the magnetic force of the Universe that attracts energy into form on the material plane. Everything in nature is formed through the magnetic force of feeling. Feeling represents the element of water. Water is the material manifestation of feeling.

The color of this virtue is the most beautiful blue-green imaginable. The musical note is D. The element is water so it has the sensation of coolness. The abdomen is formed from this virtue.

U… The letter “U” in the cosmic language represents ‘the faculty of comprehending the creative act and it’s relationship to karma. Why Do Hippies Still Exist in America?

From televised street protests to suburban shopping malls, it’s a shocking sight to see groups of ragged, longhaired hippies still prowling the American landscape. Once thought of as a temporary youth trend, these anti-societal, marijuana-loving civil liberation types have proven surprisingly resilient. Their hatred of Christian-American patriotism continues to be one of their most recognizable traits. As a new generation is indoctrinated into this lifestyle, the risk they pose to this nation’s foundation of morality is once again reaching a critical level.

The fact that a teenage fashion fad from the 1960s has survived this long is stunning. These are people who have managed to deny every positive cultural change of the last 50 years. Loathe to contribute to our domestic economy, they have long eschewed the acceptable consumerism so vital for our engines of growth despite the diversity of affordable products available to every citizen. They avoided the raw masculinity and progressive politics of the Reagan years. They turned their backs on the groundswell of Judeo-Christian faith that has dominated this country since the 80s. In post 9/11 era, they were one of the few holdouts against the flowering of pro-American nationalism so crucial in a time of terror and war. Tragically, they played the role of “useful idiots” for our enemies in Europe, the Middle East and even in China. They banged their drum circles outside the White House when President Bush planned to take down the worst dictators of the Middle East. They protested against the imprisonment of our most dangerous terrorist enemies at home and in prisons abroad. They fought against profiling and advanced interrogation techniques, they organized secret radical cells on very own soil and they have clogged countless courts with their endless attempts to derail our democracy of moral decency.

Even worse, they have lured a new generation into the tactics of perpetual protest. As martyrs, enemies and agitators, they represent the antithesis of Constitutional Americanism. They are against every tradition that has made this country great and have nothing to offer in a constructive or positive sense. They want to tear our world apart so that they may dance in the shadow of our crumbling faith. And in that darkness, hidden away from common sense and ethical living, they engage in the most vile, bestial acts. Sexual liberation leading to multiple partners, orgies, homosexuality, lesbianism, voyeurism, teen sex and chemically-fueled perversion are all part of their plan. They have perverted medical science and our legal system to such an extent that deadly street drugs like marijuana are now decriminalized and available to our children at any bus stop. They have no compunction against teaching our young to rebel and to hate, to despise Christian teachings and to avoid the responsibility we all have towards our Creator. Instead, they worship Mother Gaia and her tree faeries, witchcraft, the cult of self-indulgence, masturbation, and any form of abuse. They take great pride in spreading their foul disease to young and old alike, drawing blood oaths from the innocent or feeble-minded, anyone to grow their political numbers and push this country closer to a socialist dictatorship.

Hippies are predominantly white and they have used that unfairly to their political advantage. They appear at PTA meetings and town events pretending to represent normal society. They avoid police stops on our roads by tucking their long hair back into their shirts and driving moderately, no matter what incredible amounts of mind-bending psychotropics they have just ingested. Under the radar of sturdy Americanism, they live out a prolonged adolescence where the they chase a nightmarish list of kicks: marijuana, hashish, LSD, heroin, magic mushrooms, ice, nitrous oxide, crystal meth, Oxycotton, opium, Nexus, MDMA, GHB, mescaline and more. Spending all their time in this balmy, criminal world, they know nothing of hard work. Instead, the adult hippie will resolve every complex life dilemma with a bong hit. Whether it’s at music concerts, watching television shows or even on the internet, they float by in a perpetual “purple” haze seeking highs from nudity and corporeal violation, profanity and slovenliness, entirely divorced from manliness and decency.

As a group, they are the chief proponents of public nudism in this country. Possibly due to their immense consumption of psychedelics, they take great pride in showing off their unathletic, unshaven bodies at beaches, camps and even in our village squares. Why must they flaunt all that shamelessness and frighten the goodly amongst us? It is horrifically terrifying. So many beaches have become off limits to Christian families because of their flamboyant displays of debaucherous flesh, carnal and curvy, tan lines nonexistent. Some live on farms and communes, engaging in political hostility and backward agrarianism. Others inhabit old vans and school buses, stealing water from public hydrants and luring school kids into all night drug parties. They constantly cruise the internet looking for a thrilling marijuana “score” and maybe a fluid-drenched intergeneration erotic encounter in some disused graveyard. Simply put, they will take any opportunity to fester like a sore on the underbelly of our wholesomeness.

On a personal level, a hippie can be defined as a person who will abuse drugs until the day he or she dies, irregardless of health issues or pleas from their children. They wear loose, used clothing and grow their hair unnecessarily long. Both males and females adorn themselves with colorful, cheap jewelry and avoid precious metals like gold or diamonds. Their appearance is wholly unkempt and they mask their unwashed bodily odors with patchouli oil, incense or other fragrances. Eastern religion is something hippies often try, but usually hold very little allegiance to. They will pretend to be a Buddhist Monk or a Zen Master for they love the arrogant titles, as well as the trinkets and idols crammed onto their bookshelves. The time required to study these foreign rituals, however, usually proves too trying on their limited patience. True faith frightens them beyond belief and usually pushes them to light up another marijuana joint.

Having little access to top tier educations, hippies turn to music as an avenue for the pretense of intellectualism and culture. They will take great delight in speaking of concerts or even attending them, though their range of performers is quite limited and rarely goes beyond the bands The Grateful Dead and The Phish. When they discuss these two bands, they will invoke grandiose tones as if they’re touring the Louvre or witnessing a Puccini opera. Drugs are an essential component to enjoying this sort of music, for it contains very few discernable lyrics and enjoyable beats. Rather, it is like an improvised jazz solo with the lowest quality acoustical instruments pumped through a sound system purchased at a toy store. There are screams and shrieks and depressing sessions of drum beatings that never seem to end.

The Grateful Dead is notorious for the intense availability of every drug known to mankind at their concerts. Young people tempted into this illicit world rarely return unharmed. Entering into these events, one is assaulted by sexual and psychedelic demands that push you into naked frenzies and hours-long blackouts. The music itself is harsh and overwhelming, crafted to outrage our most basic moral instincts. It celebrates an elite form of hedonism so sickening that one imagines the deepest pits of hell couldn’t possibly be more terrifying. Children have long been cursed into lifelong spirals of wanton sexuality and extreme political fanaticism after being exposed to this sort of experience.

The Phish play for a younger, more innocent crowd less concerned about social activism and more preoccupied with a sarcastic disdain for conformity. The songs revolve around the absurd, yet still force the simpleminded to celebrate self-indulgence and radical consumerism. For fans of The Phish, life is about expressing an identity through purchasing “green” products and watching adult cartoons. They will abuse drugs and frustrate their parents, but never enough to land in jail or lose their allowances (even into adulthood). Masturbation and LSD are also shockingly common in this crowd. For your average Phish concert-goer, it’s not uncommon for them to awake in odd circumstances (at the side of a road, wallet emptied and their body covered in bruises, for example) with no recollection of what transpired the night before. This cycle of amnesia is what keeps them coming back for more shows as they try to figure out what they could have possibly done to themselves.

I have written about the youth trend of “hipsters” in the past and it’s important to realize that hippies are somewhat different. Hipsters, while also predominantly Caucasian, tend to come from more affluent backgrounds and their sophistication shows. The hipster rebels against wealth and power by slumming in urban, ethnic ghettoes. They use family money to create farcical careers as unpublished authors or fashion designers. They tend to be far more sexual and consequently likelier carriers of herpes and genital warts. Hipsters fetishize clothes above drugs, while for hippies it’s the opposite. There are far more homosexuals in the hipster demographic, for the hippie does not enjoy expensive hair products and tight clothing. Hippies are more often overweight and unappealing physically, as hipsters use more cocaine and cigarettes than their peers and remain lithe and active. Both groups are unnecessary distractions for children and should be avoided with a concerted, parental effort.

In conclusion, it’s clear that the hippie lifestyle is little more than cover for middle class drug abuse. Unfortunately, the feeble minds of these addicts have been co-opted by unscrupulous political operatives to support a dangerous socialist agenda. For this reason, they pose a threat to the beauty and humanity of the Christian faith in America today. These are people bent on blackmailing decent society to pay for their worst indulgences, from the public nudity to the parade of narcotics pumping through their veins. They want to lure the youth generation and the generation after that into a culture of persistent abuse and failure. They are a plague that is spreading, infecting the organs one by one and crippling the most wondrous of our children with a lifetime habit of “free love” socialist emasculated experimentation. They are destroying Christianity and subjugating the faithful. What will this world be without the vital righteous leadership of the United States? What hell awaits a decade or two away if these sorts of people keep on keeping on? How can we risk all the tremendous gains we have made as a people humble before our Great God if these sickening creatures are allowed to prey on children, to slither down our streets, to congregate on our town squares, naked and high? America, today I ask you

As if Nobel Laureates Walter Gilbert, Kary Mullis, Linus Pauling and 2600 other nominees, investigators and scientists weren’t enough, 2008 Nobel Laureate Luc Montagnier MD has broken ranks to expose HIV and AIDS as little more than a pharmaceutical marketing scam. As one of two alleged co-discovers of HIV, how clerics like John Moore and others defend themselves from Montagnier’s charges will be interesting to see.

Montagnier: We can be exposed to HIV many times without being chronically infected… our immune system will get rid of the virus within a few weeks if you have a good immune system.

Brent Leung: If you have a good immune system then your body can naturally get rid of HIV?

Montagnier: Yes.

Brent Leung: If you take a poor African who’s been infected and you build up her immune system is it also possible for them to also naturally get rid of it?

Montagnier: I would think so… It’s important knowledge, which is completely neglected. People always think of drugs and vaccine.

While the documentary House of Numbers (HON) continues to shock audiences around the world, pharmaceutical marketers continue to incite the gay inquisition against the film and those who promote it. As described in previous reports, most of these radicals are supported by the makers of HIV tests and drugs and predators like George Soros who exploit them.

In many ways, HIV has become the de facto religion of the radical gay movement that parades under the pretext of human rights – as if cross-dressing, gay sex and crystal meth somehow equate to the abolition of slavery.

The AIDS Church requires believers to evangelize Robert Gallo’s unproven assumptions about HIV (1, 2, 3, 4) and subject themselves to a baptism of HIV tests. Once confirmed, believers receive a sacramental cocktail of highly addictive psychotropic drugs and DNA inhibitors so that members can suffer and die for their church just like Jesus.

Thankfully, the vast majority of men and woman (gay and straight) know better than to subject themselves to the church’s social marketing schemes – which may be why the Academy of Education Development and pharmaceutical companies are now paying ex-celebrities like Blair Underwood and Magic Johnson to target their own vulnerable communities.

Montagnier and Gallo are only two of the highly paid clerics who make fools of themselves throughout the documentary. It would be comedic, except that these clerics are complicit in the deliberate and unnecessary sickness and death of millions around the world – drug-caused mortality that continues to be used to perpetuate a fake epidemic that the American Medical Association cannot substantiate.

Oct 22 Florence (It) – When HIV discoverer and Nobel Laureate Luc Montagnier MD admitted that individuals can “get rid” of HIV without drugs and that the pharmaceutical industry pushes drugs and vaccines because they cannot profit from clean water and good nutrition, the media refused to cover the story (video).

Despite the media blackout and continued belligerence from the NIH and CDC, University of Florence has published Chiara Matteuzzi’s doctorial thesis “Endogenous retroviruses as confounding factors in the pathogenesis of AIDS.” Supervised by professors Stefania Pacini MD, PhD and Marco Ruggiero MD, PhD, Matteuzzi uses the admission as a departure point in this new report, which raises new questions about HIV’s alleged role in the causation of AIDS. Her work was accepted (with maximum marks) at the University of Florence.

Abstract:

Introduction – Little was known about human endogenous retroviruses (HERVs) at the beginning of the AIDS era; recognition of the existence and characteristics of HERVs offers the possibility of resolving differing views as to whether HIV exists or whether it exists but is harmless. In fact, about 8 percent of the human genome consists of sequences incorporated from retroviruses and, consistent with these observations, the role of HIV in causing AIDS is increasingly questioned. The XVIII Intl Conf on AIDS in Vienna (July2010) confirmed a shift of focus in AIDS research: the immune system is now the focus of AIDS research.

This shift followed the words of Prof. Montagnier: “… Our immune system will get rid of the virus within a few weeks, if you have a good immune system” a statement reversing the long-assumed cause-effect relationship between HIV and AIDS: it is the immunodeficiency that causes chronic HIV infection and not vice versa (J Biosci 28: 383–412, 2003. J Am Phys Surg 12: 116–20, 2007). If the association between signs attributed to HIV infection and AIDS is simply indicative of pre-existing immunodeficiency, i.e. signs of HIV infection are merely “symptoms” and not cause of immunodeficiency, then stimulation of the immune system would eradicate those signs of HIV infection. Such a demonstration would confirm the hypothesis that HERVs act as confounding factors in the pathogenesis of AIDS and HIV cannot be the sole cause of AIDS. The experimental work described in this thesis is based on a seminal paper published in 2009 (J Med Virol 81: 16–26, 2009) demonstrating that GcProtein-Derived Macrophage Activating Factor (GcMAF) eradicated HIV infection in HIV-positive patients.

Results – We demonstrated that GcMAF stimulated human monocyte proliferation and survival and that this response was associated with VDR gene polymorphisms. Since these results were obtained in peripheral blood mononuclear cells, an interplay between lymphocytes expressing VDR and GcMAF stimulated monocytes producing vitamin D has to be assumed. The effect was dose-dependent and maximal stimulation was achieved using 100 pg/ml. GcMAF sustained cell viability for about 98 h whereas unstimulated cells were no longer viable after 48 h, as if GcMAF had rescued monocytes from apoptosis.

Heparin inhibited the stimulatory effect of GcMAF by binding the N-acetylgalactosamine moiety of GcMAF. GcMAF stimulated cAMP formation in a dose-dependent manner. GcMAF inihibited PGE2- and MCF-7 (human breast cancer cell)-stimulated angiogenesis in chick embryo chorionallantoic membrane (CAM) assay.

Discussion – GcAMF-induced increase of cAMP formation could account for its anti-angiogenetic effect since it was demonstrated that elevated cAMP level inhibited angiogenesis in CAM assay (J Vasc Res 31:195-204, 1994). GcMAF-induced inhibition of angiogenesis could then be crucial in determining its therapeutic effects in conditions where angiogenesis plays a key role in the progression of the disease, from cancer (Exp Cell Res 316:1304-8, 2010) to HIV infection (Angiogenesis 5: 141–151, 2002). In addition, the CAM assay proved to be a rapid, simple and inexpensive method to determine the relative potencies of different GcMAF preparations and their stability; for example, we observed that storage at room temperature for 15 days decreased GcMAF potency by about 50%. These data could prove useful for upcoming clinical trials on GcMAF. In fact, GcMAF is being sold over the internet and it appears that several people are already assuming GcMAF to treat diseases as diverse as cancer and HIV infection.

Normalement tous les samedis soirs, mon mari et moi n'avons rien à faire.
Nous voudrions donc, ouvrir nos portes pour faire des soirées de potluck pour la communauté.

Ça nous fera plaisir d'accueillir les autres dans notre spacieux appartement. Ces rencontres seront décontractées et sans but, sauf celui de se faire des ami(e)s et discuter un peu. Et donc, comme qui se ressemblent, s'assemblent... Permettez-moi de décrire vos hôtes potentiels.

Nos meilleures qualités:

Nous sommes simples, sympas et très gentils. Nous avons également beaucoup voyagé.
Grâce au fait que nous ayons vécu dans plusieurs pays, nous sommes très multiculturels et nous avons une large ouverture d’esprit.
Les discussions se déroulent d'une manière très facile.

Finding ourselves with little or nothing to do on saturday nights. My wife and I want to impliment a weekly or bi-weekly potluck dinner drop in for the community.

We will be happy to host these events in our spacious home. This would be very informal with no agenda save for conversation and friendship. Birds of a feather flock together. Therefore allow me to describe your potential hosts.

Our best qualities

We are simple, nice and very gentle people that have traveled alot.
Having lived in many different nations has made us very cultural but also made us very opinionated. But we respect everyone ele's opinions.
Conversations flow very easily with us.
Our home is always filled with incense and music.
We are very affectionate people and We hug and touch everyone.

some of our more controversial qualities are :
We are vegitariens because we are against the suffering of animals.
We don't drink alcohol or smoke but as long as you're responsible or polite, we don't mind if you do.
We love 60s and 70s music.
We do not own a television. (But we do have a cool super 8 projector.)
We are nudists and if you bring your children, please phone before coming over and we will make sure we are wearing clothes.
We love yoga and dancing, our space is uncultered to make this easy.

What do we expect from our guests ?

Nothing other than you be yourself and come for conversation and to meet other people and make friends.
If you want to share in the pot-luck, bring something to share. Fruits, vegetables, cheeses, typical finger foods work best to share, but you're welcome to bring anything without meat. Seafood and eggs are ok too.
We will have coffee, and tea available.

Write if you're interested. You can show up anytime after 8pm.

Le rapport fournit des d�tails in�dits sur plusieurs dossiers trait�s par le Bureau des enqu�tes sp�ciales du d�partement. Il pr�cise entre autres la fa�on dont certains responsables am�ricains, charg�s du recrutement de scientifiques allemands, ont contourn� la volont� du pr�sident Harry Truman, qui avait interdit l'immigration de tout membre du parti nazi et de tout partisan actif du r�gime militariste.

Par exemple, Arthur Rudolph a indiqu� � des enqu�teurs en 1947 qu'il avait assist� � une s�ance de pendaisons pendant la guerre, alors qu'il �tait responsable des op�rations dans une usine d'armements qui employait de la main-d'oeuvre asservie.

Our present social & economic system breeds dysfunctionalism for profit. They lie, we buy. Hyper consumerism teaches us to placate our discontent with the purchase of convienences and luxuries. The empty promises of our purchases rarely satisfy our real needs and often trap us in a cyclic reliance. An addiction to shopping or to the chemicals in our prefab foods.

We want to form a community of people ready to reprioritize their lifes.

Embracing many ideals born out of the 60s, like social responsibility, harmony with nature and each other, healthy living and communication.
Our ultimate goal is to relocate to a more natural environment to establish an auto-sufficient community, living off the land.

We are open to families and adult individuals without discrimination.
Our first meeting will be held in Decemeber in Montreal Quebec Canada.
