Please follow the following guidelines for what emails will ALWAYS BE APPROPRIATE: (i) selling a car in Riverdale; (ii) need a ride; (iii) community events; (iv) shul events of interest; (v) shiva notices; (vi) community blood drives; etc.
The following are examples of emails that would GENERALLY BE APPROPRIATE: (i) houses for sale in the area; (ii) garage sales; (iii) lost and found; (iv) information about softball leagues; (v) parlor meeting at your house; (vi) requests for community action on behalf of Israel; (vii) short targeted letter-writing campaigns for Israel; etc.

The following are examples of emails that would NEVER BE APPROPRIATE FOR ANY LIST: (i) offensive or disparaging emails; and (ii) Lashon Hara.

WHO can join? If your email address is one you would not say to a Rabbi in shul (this is a shuls list) you will be banned!
