"SAVE-Democracy" (S=safe, A=accurate, V=verified, E=election), meets in the San Diego area to discuss strategies and take action to resolve the issue of voter-verifiability and
related matters, in time for upcoming elections. Our goal is to ensure "one person, one vote" verifiability for any voting system that is used, in order to preserve our democracy.
We are working locally and nationally to support measures which will guarantee voter-verified paper ballots in time for 2004 elections, such as HR2239, S1980 and related bills.
We hope to work together with other groups functioning around the country on this CRUCIALLY IMPORTANT ISSUE.
