Aloha Dear Ones:

 

We want all of you to be aware that Fall Sufi Camp, at Camp Keanae,

was one of our most inspiring, healing, loving camps we have ever

experienced.  We just seem to be getting better as we mature as a

sangha, and become more focused on our intentions and who we are.

 

The Sufis Hawaii Council has decided to proceed with Spring Camp,

again at Camp Keanae, on the dates of May 14th-21st, 2010.  We are making

the dates later to try something new, and the format may be a little

different also. We saw through the recent Fall Camp, that a smaller camp of

around 100 + campers was very intimate and fulfilling.  While everyone is invited to share

this very special experience with us, we will make an effort to have this camp intimate and

fulfilling as well.

 

There will be a children's camp, however it will be specifically for the weekend of May 14th-16th. 

We hope our families can join us for this weekend, and if enough children can remain throughout
camp, we will have arrangements in place to serve them and their families.

 

More information on camp will be provided in future communications.  In the

meantime we hope you can join us.  If you are interested in registering,

selfless conscience, together with a sense of awakened justice.

children of earth indiscriminately in the Parenthood of God.

which is the essence of all wisdom.

raises the mortal to immortality, in which resides all perfection.

I accepted a job in Lompoc and will commute from Shell Beach for a while. I keep seeing  myself eventually living in a little funky older house with a porch, farm critters and space somewhere between Lompoc and Buellton. Does any one know where my new place is?

Compassionate Communication (NVC) skills, are always welcome.

If you like to get your hands in the dirt, we also have a small but growing vegetable garden that will be very happy to see more green thumb action.

Our overall intent is to create and maintain sacred space. We consider our home a peaceful place for play, healing and regeneration. 

Washer/Dryer on-site.

We are asking $500/month for both the room and the motor home (utilities included). This may be negotiable. 

See Canyon, at least as far back as we live, has no DSL or Cable broadband internet service. Satellite service seems too expensive for what you get. Apparently Verizon offers a good package that could be workable for our situation. We could get Verizon broadband internet if everyone is amenable to splitting the cost.

We have no storage available on site. I rent a single car garage for storage in SLO, and would consider sharing some of that space if necessary.

Please pass this on if you know someone that is looking for a cool place to live with cool people.

Unfortunately, over the past two weeks or so, the group Earth Tribe e-mail has been co-opted a total of three times now with phishing messages, the likes of you can see below.  I have made earnest attempts to get some action by the Yahoo Groups Tech Support team, but, so far, all I've received have been utterly useless form replies informing me they are working toward a solution to rid us of this annoying problem.
 
Please be patient while I try to get some real action from Tech Support. In the meantime, do not reply to any of these e-mails saying you've won something. They are bogus.

Good day, all. I am excited to announce a group that I think EarthTribe would
very much appreciate, and which could benefit its membership:

For about 10 years now, I have run "earth-based" spiritual communities and
retreats in Los Angeles, and have held two outdoor festivals in Paso Robles in
the four years I've been here. I've been remiss since living in Arroyo Grande
for four years, and have recently created a new online group to centralize

Hi Everyone,

We are looking for two spiritually conscious, community oriented individuals to share our rustic but peaceful See Canyon home with us.  Available are two spaces; a small room and a motor home. The room is available immediately. Whoever occupies the room will need to share a bathroom with whoever is renting the motor home. The Motor home will be available in a month or two.

Our home is beautifully situated in See Canyon, right up against the creek. One whole wall in the large living room faces the creek and is solid glass with a gorgeous view into a forest. It is a beautiful place to meditate, do yoga, artwork, write, etc. We consider the living room as a community area for all to share.

We have a hot tub which is currently available for all to use. 

Compassionate Communication (NVC) skills, are always welcome.

If you like to get your hands in the dirt, we also have a small but growing vegetable garden that will be very happy to see more green thumb action.

Our overall intent is to create and maintain sacred space. We consider our home a peaceful place for play, healing and regeneration. 

Washer/Dryer on-site.

We are asking $500/month for both the room and the motor home (utilities included). This may be negotiable. 

See Canyon, at least as far back as we live, has no DSL or Cable broadband internet service. Satellite service seems too expensive for what you get. Apparently Verizon offers a good package that could be workable for our situation. We could get Verizon broadband internet if everyone is amenable to splitting the cost.

We have no storage available on site. I rent a single car garage for storage in SLO, and would consider sharing some of that space if necessary.
