This is the 2nd time I've interviewed Michael, and it's always a blast!
Therapy? have a new album, A Brief Crack Of Light, out now.

"Awesome bassist Michael McKeegan analyzes the long-running rock band's new
(13th!) album, touring info, and the state of the music industry."

Here's the link to the sad news:

http://music.yahoo.com/news/monkees-singer-davy-jones-dead-66-180151703.html

I think I first saw/heard about Davy Jones/The Monkees from a repeat of a Brady
Bunch episode that featured him. I think Marcia wanted to get Davy Jones to
sing at her prom, so she goes all-out to contact him and get him to agree.

Here's a video clip from that episode where Davy sings "Girl" in the studio:

and a video clip of a surprised Marcia meeting Davy:

So many music artists, so little time and ability to cover them all, so I picked
out several of my personal highlights that hopefully will strike a chord with

Whew, it was a whirlwind writing and listening session to get that all in line,
but it's finished and posted at Delusions Of Adequacy.

Hope you enjoy my picks - and feel free to post here about those bands and
singers. What you like too, or if I didn't cover an artist that you like who's
performing or performed at SXSW 2012.

I did forget, and then didn't have time, to include several acts like Stars,
Redgrave, Chains of Love, Chairlift, and Metric - and probably a ton more that
escaped my notice!

I absolutely love this UK music mag, at least its issues from the early 90s! It
covered cream of the crop bands like Lush, Curve, Suede, Nirvana, and Babes In
Toyland - everything I was into at that time period (and, well, that I'm still
