* Old United Empire Loyalists List
(Database Online - Ancestry.com) :
At the conclusion of the Revolutionary War, with the
severance of the Colonies from Great Britain, the
Loyalists, who supported the British Crown, began to move
north into what is now New Brunswick, Nova Scotia and Upper
Canada. This list is the official register of families and
individuals who had adhered to the Unity of the Empire and
joined the Royal Standard in America before the Treaty of
Separation in 1783. Persons falling into this category were
given a mark of honor by the British Crown and known as
United Empire Loyalists. Much of the present population of
Upper Canada can trace their descent from these early
pioneers, making this record of interest to anyone with
ancestors in these areas.

* Genealogies in the Library of Congress With Supplements
and the Complement to Genealogies in the Library of
Congress. In Five Volumes
(Books - Amazon.com) :
Researchers and libraries now have a once-in-a-lifetime
opportunity to purchase a reprint of the greatest reference
work in all of American genealogy, Marian Kaminkow's
Genealogies in the Library of Congress (2 vols.), with its
two Supplements and the renowned Complement to Genealogies
in the Library of Congress. Together these five massive
volumes comprise the most comprehensive listing of family
histories available. Answering the all-important question
as to what family histories have already been written,
they represent the first step in genealogical research.
Indeed, since their first appearance they have been hailed
as the true starting point in genealogical research, the
proof of which is manifested in the fact that they provide
details on over 50,000 family histories, published and
unpublished, in genealogical books as well as
non-genealogical books, in periodicals as well as
monographs, in English as well as other languages, in the
Library of Congress as well as other major libraries!
May also be available from Amazon.co.uk (United Kingdom)
and Amazon.ca (Canada).

* Indiana Marriages to 1850
(Database Online - Ancestry.com) :
This database of Indiana marriages to 1850 contains nearly
200,000 names. Each entry includes groom, bride, marriage
date, county, and state. Every name is indexed so you can
search for one name, or two names that are linked. The
marriage date is usually the date of marriage as given in
the original entry. However, when no marriage date is
given (e.g., the "marriage return" was not provided to the
record keeper), the date of the license is used.
