The parish of Blymhill is in the hundred of Cuttlestone
and was part of the ancient Rural Deanery of Lapley and
Trysull, but afterwards was placed in the Rural Deanery
of Brewood, and is now in the rural Deanery of Penkridge.
This parish contains two townships: Blymhill and Brineton.
A third area known as Brockhurst also lies within its
area. The register contains the baptism, marriage and
burial records within the parish. They cover the years
1561-1812. An index to the register is also included.
