This group was created to help share information about the American Revolutionary War 'Loyalists' who lived, per the 1776 tax list, in the Town of Westmoreland North District know as "Up The River" in what is now Wyoming and Bradford Counties, PA. This group of men, and their families had settled in the Wyoming Valley along the Susquehanna River in what is now Wyoming and Bradford Counties, Pennsylvania. The men served in at least two regiments loyal to the Crown during the American Revolution: Butler's Rangers and the King's Royal Regiment of New York. This group site is provided to store materials, documents and ease communications between researchers working on these family lines. Information related to any of the families is welecomed.
