This is an informal group in the Twin Cities metro area started by parents with children adopted from Nepal. Members are currently adoptive parents seeking opportunities to expose our children and ourselves to Nepali culture and other adoptive families. We hope that our children will participate equally, or start their own group, as they grow up.

(Note that this group exists alongside the excellent and active Association of Nepalis in Minnesota at anmn.org. Many members of this list are also active with the ANMN.)

This list is closed to protect members' privacy, not to be exclusive. We encourage new members who fit the basic criteria of the group. Once enrolled the list is unmoderated. Since it is local, most posts are invitations to get-togethers (like the monthly dinner at Everest on Grand) and announcements of upcoming local events related to parenting, adoptive parenting, Nepal, or just having fun.
