Geography_ Tail Water and its surrounding area are located in the far center of a huge bay connecting to vast deep waters. Rocky and sandy beaches mark its coastline. Several jagged rocks of varies size dot the bay along with a rather large island near the bays entrance into the Vast Deep. High Canyon Mountains and rocky ledges surround three sides of Tail Water.

Climate_ Tail Water is located on the outer edge of a redwood forest which engulfs canyon like mountains and deep valleys. Temperatures are hot and humid with colder temperatures during the winter months that bring lots of rain and strong winds. Snow is possible at times.

Time Period_ The current time period on the world of two moons would be near the end of what we would call the medieval period and the beginning of the first renaissance period.

Inhabitants_ Tail Water is inhabited by both elves and preservers. The elves are all descendents of a rather large group of first comers that founded the current location. Most all have some type of family connection but the ties go back so far that they are forgotten. The preservers are the original preservers that first came with the founding first comers. Through the centuries the preservers have remained loyal, trustworthy friends and helpers. The preservers also guard entrances into Tail Water, alerting Tail Water inhabitants of any dangers.

Leadership_ Leadership at Tail Water is run by a group of elders known as the Council of Elders with one elder being the leader. Life for the clan was a structured one with many rules and regulations to help keep things a certain way. It became so important to keep rules and regulations that harsh punishments, which included exiles, were created to keep the rebellious in line.

The clan numbers have dwindled a great deal through the centuries so life at Tail Water has become stagnant.
