Characters currently at Jerry's office are Andre, Steele, Taryk, Connor, Koltik, Tiberius and Kenai. Jackson is recovering in a cage, Aleks and Cobalt are outside on the porch. Aithne has left the clinic in the company of White Ember and Lakota, they're past the town's outskirts, eating a kill.
In the east woods, NightTracker and Aranok have killed Philip O'Possum and Tony Langridge, then parted ways at the arrival of Omara, before reuniting in the heart of Tracker's territory. Their actions, however, could spell disaster for the local wolves as the inhabitants of Nome hear of the gruesome incident.
Husky is with Sybrix and the cubs in her den. John is en route to prime his fishing nets at the river, encountering Tempestade after her decimation by the loss of her pack. Warren is near to the human's den, drinking at a small lake. Quills is returning to the kennels (where Safari and Thor are comforting a crying girl, Emma) after helping Cobalt to the vet's. Rivan and Skyline are also making their way there. Sooru and Lsombra are at a boat on the frozen lake, Bear having recently taken his leave. Detective Davis and his rookie, Nathan, are working at the police station.
Ara and Alpine were last seen at the site of the shipwreck by the coast. Fuzzy and Spot have ran into a bulldog named Conrad, and have since come under fire from Jersey, Nome's traditional troublemaker; Kamikazie has just come onto the scene.
