WHEN, IN THE COURSE OF HUMAN EVENTS, it becomes necessary for one
People to re-examine the political bonds which have connected them to
their government, and to re-assume among the Powers of the Earth, the
separate and equal Station to which the Laws of Nature entitle them,
a decent Respect to the Opinions of Humanity requires that they
should determine whether or not there are sufficient and
irreconcilable causes which shall impel them to a Separation.

We hold these truths to be self-evident, that all men and women are
created equal, that they are endowed by their Creator with certain
unalienable Rights, that among these are Life, Liberty, and the
pursuit of Happiness. That to secure these rights, Governments are
instituted among People, deriving their just powers from the consent
of the governed. That whenever any Form of Government becomes
destructive of these ends, it is the Right of the People to alter or

the forms to which they are accustomed.

But when a long train of abuses and usurpations, pursuing invariably
the same object evinces a design to reduce them under absolute
Despotism, it is their right, it is their duty, to throw off such
Government, and to provide new Guards for their future security.

Such has been the patient sufferance of Our People; and such is now
the necessity which constrains them to alter their former System of
Government. The history of the present FEDERAL GOVERNMENT is a
history of repeated injuries and usurpations, all having in direct
object the establishment of an absolute Tyranny over our People. To
prove this, let Facts be submitted to a candid world.

THE FEDERAL GOVERNMENT has erected a multitude of New Offices, and
sent hither swarms of Officers to harass our People, and eat out
their substance. Our People are forced to pay the highest taxes in
our history, plus countless fees, fines, tickets, citations, and
penalties wherever they travel and whatever they do.

THE FEDERAL GOVERNMENT has passes laws censoring free speech and
restricting religious freedom, in direct violation of Article I of
the Bill of Rights.

THE FEDERAL GOVERNMENT has made sobriety the State Religion and now
jails over a half a million People a year for the "crime" of using
unapproved substances to alter their consciousness.

THE FEDERAL GOVERNMENT has openly defied popular, citizen-led
initiatives on drug policy reform, refusing to allow any change in
their Law. In complete disregard for democracy, they have used public
money to campaign against these initiatives and now, having lost,
threaten physicians and patients who violate their Law, leaving Our
People no choice but to engage in Civil Disobedience.

THE FEDERAL GOVERNMENT has declared war against it's own Citizens, if
they so much as possess certain unapproved plants, bringing to bear
the fearful might of its military and over one hundred different
federal agencies empowered to use deadly force against our People.

THE FEDERAL GOVERNMENT has suspended our Constitutional right to be
secure in our persons, houses, papers and effects against
unreasonable searches and seizures, allowing police to search and
seize whatever they wish, so long as they are acting on "Good Faith"
that a crime has taken place.

THE FEDERAL GOVERNMENT has authorized police to seize private
property, without due cause or compensation or even filing charges,
directly violating Article IV of the Bill of Rights.

THE FEDERAL GOVERNMENT has charged, taxed, convicted and jailed
Citizens who have already served sentences for identical state
crimes, in direct violation of Article V which forbids such "Double
Jeopardy."

THE FEDERAL GOVERNMENT has obstructed the Administration of Justice,
by refusing to inform Juries of their right to vote their conscience,
or to allow Juries to exercise their Constitutional right to judge
not only the accused, but to judge the soundness of the Law itself.

THE FEDERAL GOVERNMENT has made Judges dependent on its Will alone,
ordering Judges to make their decisions based upon "Mandatory Minimum
Sentences," thereby violating the separation of powers between the
Judicial, Executive and Legislative branches, which is so fundamental
to our form of democracy.

THE FEDERAL GOVERNMENT has emptied our Treasury, creating so vast a
debt, that forty percent of the personal taxes collected by the
government must be paid just on the interest.

THE FEDERAL GOVERNMENT has kept among us, in times of peace, Standing
Armies of Secret Police, Narcs, Undercover Agents, and Paid
Informants, to spy upon and to coerce our People into obeying drug
laws which are based upon puritanical beliefs that defy common sense.

THE FEDERAL GOVERNMENT has affected to render the Military
independent of and superior to the Civil power of local communities
who are regularly subjected to aerial assaults by heavily armed drug
agents. Our People are powerless to stop or in anyway protect
themselves from repeated violations of their human rights and private
property. Military raids now occur throughout our land against anyone
who dares to grow Hemp, even though our Founding Fathers, George
Washington and Thomas Jefferson, both grew and praised this
remarkable plant.

THE FEDERAL GOVERNMENT has made a mockery of the election process,
staging contrived political conventions which have already been
bought and paid for by special interests, under the burden of a
corrupt system that offers little choice on election day.

THE FEDERAL GOVERNMENT no longer serves the will of the People and
has become a cancer, unable to stop growing and unable to stop
spending, stealing from the future with massive debts that will take
generations to repay.

THE FEDERAL GOVERNMENT has combined with others to subject us to a
jurisdiction which is in direct violation of our Constitution and in
direct violation of our Bill of Rights; giving the false appearance
of public Assent to their Acts of pretended Legislation:

For protecting Agents of the DEA, FBI, CIA, and BATF by mock Trials
from punishment for Murders which they committed on the Inhabitants
of these States:

For imposing Taxes on us without our Consent and empowered a
terrorist organization, the IRS, to obtain our compliance though
coersion:

For squandering our public funds on exotic weapons and foreign wars,
often to keep dictators in power and defense contractors employed,
while our Children go hungry, our Schools are neglected and our
Cities decay.

For depriving us in many cases of the benefits of Trial by Jury:

For imprisoning millions of otherwise law-abiding Citizens for the
pretended offenses of commerce in psychoactive plants:

For abolishing the free System of Tort Laws, establishing therein an
Arbitrary government, and enlarging its Powers far beyond the scope
granted to it by the Constitution, and in direct violation of
Articles IX and X of the Bill of Rights:

For taking away our independence as sovereign Citizens, abolishing
our most valuable Laws and altering fundamentally our Form of
Government, demanding Blind Obedience to the failed policies of the
Past:

For suspending our own right to govern our bodies and our
consciousness, and declaring themselves invested with power to
legislate for us in all cases whatsoever.

For spraying poisons on our Hemp crops with the evil intention of
doing great harm to our People who wish to use this natural herb for
their medical relief or personal enjoyment.

For trafficking in Cocaine and Armaments as instruments of foreign
policy, violating not only our Constitution, but the very trust which
our People have placed their FEDERAL GOVERNMENT.

For creating a climate of fear, intimidation and misery in order to
obscure the failure of the FEDERAL GOVERNMENT to address to real
problems of poverty, violent crime, racism, pollution, and AIDS which
now threaten the health and safety of our Citizens.

For Fouling the air, Poisoning the soil, Clear-cutting our forests,
and Contaminating our water, all for the economic gain of a
Privileged Few.

For knowingly releasing Radioactive and Toxic Wastes upon our People,
resulting in an epidemic of cancer, birth defects and causing untold
Pain and Suffering.

THE FEDERAL GOVERNMENT has abdicated Government here by declaring us
out of Its Protection and waging War against us.

THE FEDERAL GOVERNMENT has plundered our private property, invaded
and seized our homes on the slightest of evidence, and destroyed the
lives of our People, broken apart loving families, all in the name of
a "War on Drugs."

THE FEDERAL GOVERNMENT is at this time militarizing the "War on
Drugs," to complete the works of death, desolation and tyranny,
already begun with circumstances of cruelty and perfidy scarcely
paralleled in the most barbarous ages, and totally unworthy a
civilized nation.

THE FEDERAL GOVERNMENT has constrained our fellow Citizens to become
the informants and executioners of their friends and Brethren, or to
incriminate themselves through the widespread use of urine testing.

In every stage of these Oppressions We have Petitioned for Redress in
the most humble terms. Our repeated Petitions to reduce or eliminate
the cruel and unusual punishments for the use of drugs, to practice
our own religious beliefs, including the sacred use of sacramental
plants, and our right to use whatever medicines we wish have been
answered only by repeated injury and acts of violence upon our
People. A government, whose character is thus marked by every act
which may define a Tyrant, is unfit to be the ruler of a free People.

Nor have We been wanting in attentions to our Federal Officials.

We have warned them from time to time of attempts by their congress
to extend an unwarrantable jurisdiction over us.

We have reminded them of their oath of office, "To uphold and defend
the Constitution against all enemies, foreign and domestic."

We have appealed to their native justice and magnanimity to end this
war on our own People and to disavow these usurpations, which would
inevitably bring about our downfall as a democratic society.

They too have been deaf to the voice of justice and of consanguinity.
All efforts to obtain justice for those persecuted for hemp crimes
has been met with determined resistance to change. Even
democratically passed initiatives have not altered their blind
opposition to change. We must, therefore, acquiesce in the necessity,
which denounces our Separation, and hold them, as we hold the rest of
mankind, Enemies in War, Friends in Peace.

We, therefore, the Sovereign Citizens of the Free and Independent
States of America, assembled on-line and able to enjoy Free Speech
for the first time in 200 years, appealing to the Supreme Judge of
the world for the rectitude of our intentions, do, in the Name, and
by the authority of the good People of these State, solemnly publish
and declare.

That these united States are, and of Right ought to be Free and
Independent States; that they are Absolved from all Allegiance to the
FEDERAL GOVERNMENT, and that all political connection between them
and the FEDERAL GOVERNMENT is and ought to be totally dissolved; and
that as Free and Independent States, they have full Power to levy
War, conclude Peace, contract Alliances, establish Commerce, and to
do all other Acts and Things which Independent States may of right
do.

The signers of this Declaration of Independence, committed to
restoring our democratic freedoms and deprived of any weapon except
the Truth, can only represent themselves as patriotic citizens
committed to resisting all laws which violate the Constitution and
bringing to justice, all agents of the FEDERAL GOVERNMENT, who use
their office to commit crimes against our People.

And for the support of this Declaration, with a firm reliance on the

Subject: Obituary - So Very True


Today we mourn the passing of a beloved old friend by the name
of Common Sense who has been with us for many years.

No one knows for sure how old he was
since his birth records were long ago lost in bureaucratic red tape.

He will be remembered as having cultivated such value lessons
as knowing when to come in out of the rain, why the early bird
gets the worm and that life isn't always fair.

Common Sense lived by simple, sound financial policies (don't spend
more than you earn) and reliable parenting strategies (adults, not
kids,are in charge).

His health began to rapidly deteriorate when well intentioned but
overbearing regulations were set in place.

Reports of a six-year-old boy charged with sexual harassment for kissing
a classmate; teens suspended from school for using mouthwash after
lunch; and a teacher fired for reprimanding an unruly student, only
worsened his condition.

It declined even further when schools were required to get parental
consent to administer aspirin to a student;but, could not inform the
parents when a student became pregnant and wanted to have an abortion.

Finally, Common sense lost the will to live as the TenCommandments
became contraband; and criminals received better treatment than their
victims.

Common Sense finally gave up the ghost after a woman failed to realize
that a steaming cup of coffee was hot, she spilled a bit in her lap,
and was awarded a huge settlement.

Common Sense was preceded in death by his parents,Truth and Trust. his
wife, Discretion;
his daughter,Responsibility;
and his son, Reason.
He is survived by two stepbrothers; My Rights and Ima Whiner.

Not many attended his funeral because so few realized he was gone. If
you still know him pass this on, if not join the majority and
do........nothing.

On August 15, 2004, the CCCC-USA issued a
well-documented Red Alert and the following Citizens’
Constitutional Command Center Order #1:

"That, the President and Congress of the United States
take expeditious action to compel all state and
federal courts, including the Supreme Court, to
IMMEDIATELY, by September 1, 2004, suspend and close
any and all of theirproceedings, cease operating
illegally and unconstitutionally, or evoking the name
of the United States, in any of their judicial
activities, until all of them can be reorganized,
reestablished, and certified, by honorable and
responsible Citizen Review Boards and Committees, as
qualified American courts and judges or civil

abdication of federal judicial jurisdiction, and any
continued official conspiracy, genocide, torture,
persecution, and racketeering being conducted in the

The courts must be immediately prohibited from
improperly, illegally, and unconstitutionally
operating under the name of the United States or any
of the separate states, or under the laws and
Constitution, which remain the property of the
American People.

In time of war, national emergency, or acts of
treason, Americans need real leadership, and all
legitimate state or federal officials have no time
left to waste in determining their allegiances and
implementing appropriate supervision and control to
protect the nation against all domestic or foreign
enemies, threats and terrorists.

The Preamble to The Bill of Rights

Congress of the United States
begun and held at the City of New-York, on
Wednesday the fourth of March, one thousand seven
hundred and eighty nine.

THE Conventions of a number of the States, having at
the time of their adopting the Constitution, expressed
a desire, in order to prevent misconstruction or abuse
of its powers, that further declaratory and
restrictive clauses should be added: And as extending
the ground of public confidence in the Government,
will best ensure the beneficent ends of its
institution.

RESOLVED by the Senate and House of Representatives of
the United States of America, in Congress assembled,
two thirds of both Houses concurring, that the
following Articles be proposed to the Legislatures of
the several States, as amendments to the Constitution

Citizen Review Boards and Committees, under other than

fully informed public consent, they had better be
prepared to provide a satisfactory, legal, and
Constitutional public explanation, authority, and
reasons for such actions.

Any state or federal official, agency, institution,
instrumentality, individual, news organization, or
corporation that knowingly and deliberately aids or
abets continued unlawful or unconstitutional
proceedings on or after that date should TAKE NOTICE
that they will and must be held accountable for
supporting insurrection and rebellion against the
dignity of the United States.

All abridgement, infringement, or interference in
Citizens' rights to lawfully exercise their natural
liberties and their freedoms to reform the bureaucracy
for the public good, or to reestablish an honorable
and Constitutional American judicial system, shall be
deemed an act of aggression against the United States
and its People and will be appropriately resisted.

auction will be along with listings of actual vehicles that are
available for purchase at auctions in your area.

You may be uncertain about ordering right away but they suggest you
take a trial look at it - without obligation.

"We'll send it to you today. That will save you the trouble of
calling back. Then you can make an informed decision based upon
actual results. And with our guarantee, there's no risk".

If you agree to purchase the current local listings of seized cars
you are asked to provide them with your credit card or checking
account numbers. The $59.00 is then instantly charged to your
account.

If you should change your mind and wish to cancel by calling right
back you are told that the order has been "processed." You are
instructed to wait until the materials arrive in the mail and then to
follow the return instructions which are included with the guides.

Shortly thereafter, you receive two publications — the first
entitled "Consumer's Guide to Government Auctions" and the
second "Consumer's Listings of Government Auctions." Neither
publication includes the current listings of actual vehicles that are
available for purchase at auctions in your area. The publications
instead provide only a list of public and private entities that
regularly hold auctions.

You may even receive additional guides and find you have been billed
for them as well. When the operator was discussing the other guides
which they would gladly include, you thought they were free.

You quickly decide that this isn't worth the money you've paid and
seek out the instructions for returning it. You notice in fine print
the following:


If, after attending these auctions, you have not seen the results you
expected, you may call Customer Assistance for a Return Authorization
Number for an exchange or return* WITHOUT THIS NUMBER ON THE OUTSIDE
OF YOUR PACKAGE, IT WILL AUTOMATICALLY BE RETURNED TO YOU.

*Please provide us with receipts from the auctions you attended since
becoming our customer so that we can continue to improve the quality
of the services we are providing.

When you call their Customer Service department to obtain an
authorization number you are told that you cannot have one until you
show not only that you were not successful using the "how to" guides,
but also that you have met the conditions set forth in the fine
print, i.e., provide them with receipts from auctions showing that
you did not buy anything or copies of rejected applications of bids
on houses. They essentially ask you to prove a negative.
Should you try to use the auction information package to actually
attend auctions you find that the auctions are remote from your
residence; that there are no bargain automobiles, houses, or other
property at the auctions; and that proof of attendance at specific
auctions is not generally obtainable.

In fact, people who purchase the publications on seized cars rarely,
if ever, are able to purchase vehicles in good condition for a
fraction of their wholesale values, including as little as $200.
Indeed, while agencies such as the United States Marshals and the
Customs Service do regularly seize vehicles, including vehicles in
good condition, they rarely, if ever, sell those vehicles to the
general public at prices substantially below their wholesale values.

In fact, cars sold at auctions typically sell for their fair market
value or higher. At many government sales, the items are appraised
prior to sale and will not be sold if the bid price is below what is
reasonable. The only cars that sell for $100 to $350 are damaged or
junk vehicles which are purchased for scrap.

Further, government agencies do not regularly seize and then sell
expensive high-end vehicles at auction. In fact, it's unusual for
agencies to obtain high-end vehicles - even through drug seizures.
When agencies do seize high-end cars, they often use the cars in
undercover work. They're not offered to the public until they're too
expensive to maintain. At that point, they're no longer considered
high-end vehicles.

One company — using the name "U.S. Agency of Consumer Affairs" —
advertised the availability of special information on the auction of
surplus government vehicles. When consumers responded to this
company's advertisement, they were asked to provide bank account
information under the guise that the information was necessary to
verify credit for buying a car at auction.

Upon receiving this information, the company debited the consumer's
account for $149.95 without authorization, then sent a packet of
information which could easily be obtained for free at any public
library.

Two other companies charged with running this scam will be required
to pay over $4 million in compensation and be forced to sell, at
auction, three vintage Jaguars that may be worth as much as $90,000
or as little as $600 if you still believe their fabrications.

I must object.

The Declaration is a affidavit of fact which the people submitted to
their public servants, notifying them of their termination of service
to the People.

The 14th amendment corrected a defect in the Constitution of which
certain human beings who were brought to America, came as "stateless"
persons.

A privilege was only extended to these stateless persons who once had
been property.

The Constitution does not exist to destroy itself or rights
retained by the people.

People have rights and privileges. Artificial entities like government, only
have privileges as delegated to them by the People.

The Constitution, as affirmed by the Preamble to the Bill of Unalienable
Rights,
is comprised of certain declaratory and restrictive statements.

The Constitution is a statement of unalienable principles which the government
will secure for the People.

Read and understand Article IV, Sec 4 - what a republican form of
government is.

Nearly 1,000 protesters were arrested across Manhattan on Tuesday as swarms of
activists massed in the streets for marches to the site of the Republican
convention by far the biggest day of arrests since the demonstrations began last
week. There were no immediate reports of violence, but police Commissioner
Raymond Kelly said officers showed "great restraint in the face of relentless
provocation" by the protesters. Police official Michael Collins said there were
more than 970 arrests at various protests around the city. More than 1,300
people have been taken into custody in convention-related protest activity since
late last week. Heightened security against the protests has turned Manhattan
into a crazy-quilt of barriers, heavily armed police and street-corner
activists.
One of those arrested late Tuesday at a demonstration was a 19-year-old man who
was seen on a videotape assaulting a detective a day earlier, police said.

NYC Police Arrest Some 560 GOP Protesters
Police wrapped demonstrators and an entire midtown Manhattan block in orange
netting Tuesday to control anti-GOP protests, arresting more than 560 people
across the city as activists massed in the streets for marches to the site of
the Republican convention. Outside the New York Public Library, in the streets
near the famed Herald Square and at the site of the fallen World Trade Center,
demonstrators pointed themselves toward Madison Square Garden and promised to
get their message across that they want President Bush out of office. There were
no immediate reports of violence, but it appeared by late evening that the
planned march had deteriorated into blocks of human gridlock in several parts of
the city.

Total convention arrests top 1,500
Wielding metal barriers and orange netting, police struggled to contain swarms
of anti-GOP protesters on the second day of the Republican National Convention,
eventually arresting nearly 1,000 demonstrators with their sights set on a
fortress-like Madison Square Garden. More protests were planned for Wednesday,
including a "symbolic unemployment line" stretching from Wall Street to Madison
Square Garden and an evening rally in Central Park's East Meadow. Police said a
total of 970 people were arrested on Tuesday alone, and more than 1,500 people
have been arrested in convention-related protests since late last week. Police
Commissioner Raymond Kelly said the city's police officers "have shown great

Near-Riot as Cop Beats Handcuffed Man in New York
A near-riot broke out between cops and neighborhood residents of an upper
Manhattan street last night after witnesses said an officer beat a handcuffed
man. The chaos began when someone in a crowd tossed an egg at a police van on
West 172nd Street near Fort Washington Avenue in Washington Heights just after 7
p.m., cops and witnesses said. The group exchanged comments with the cops, and a
man, 19, was arrested for disorderly conduct, police and witnesses said. "Once
they had him handcuffed, they continued screaming at him and he was screaming
back," said Anthony Reynoso, who was working with a film crew at the building.
That's when an officer hit the teen in the face, Reynoso said. "They took it out
on the kid. From [the lobby] to the paddy wagon, they were hitting him in the
head with a stick," said Reynoso, 27, who lives on the block. The officers put
the teen ?identified by his mother as Juan Carlos Francis ?into the van as a
large crowd gathered and went into an uproar.
One person flung a vase from a fourth- or fifth-floor window.

N.Y. readies acoustic device to control protests of GOP
Forget the megaphones. Police will have a much more high-tech - and louder -
option to make themselves heard over the din of Manhattan traffic and noisy
protesters outside the Republican National Convention. It's called the Long
Range Acoustic Device, developed for the military and capable of blasting
warnings, orders or anything else at an ear-splitting 150 decibels. Authorities
on Thursday unveiled a mini-arsenal of devices and counterterrorism equipment
they're getting ready for the convention, which opens a week from Monday. The
sound machines are being tested at an airfield in a remote section of Brooklyn
along with other devices such as hand-held radiation detectors - for a possible
"dirty bomb" - and mechanical barriers strong enough to stop a moving vehicle in
its tracks. The military, which has used the machines in Iraq, bills them as a
"nonlethal weapon" designed to disperse hostile crowds or ward off potential
foreign combatants by delivering prerecorded warnings in
  several languages and, if needed, an earsplitting screeching noise. But police
insist the latter feature won't be used at the convention. At the Brooklyn
training site on Thursday, police practiced disarming a truck bomb at a
checkpoint.
Scores of officers also made mock arrests of police academy cadets who posed as
protesters.

Earlier this month, the New York Police Department showed off a machine called
the Long Range Acoustic Device, developed for the military and capable of
blasting at an earsplitting 150 decibels -- as loud as a firecracker, a jet
engine taking off or artillery fire at 500 feet, according to the Noise Center
at the League for the Hard of Hearing. The NYPD said it would use the machine to
direct crowds to safety if there's a terrorist attack or remind protesters where
they're allowed to march. Police said they wouldn't use the earsplitting
screeching noise feature at the convention. ``It's only to communicate in large
crowds,'' Inspector Thomas Graham of the police department's crowd control unit
said. Free speech advocates say New York's police have videotaped past protests,
so organizations like United for Peace and Justice are encouraging protesters to
bring their own video cameras to videotape the police.
A Web protest guide from Just Cause Law Collective suggests that protesters who
see police brutality document it by leaving a detailed cell phone message for
themselves or recording what they see on their portable music player.

Terror scare paves way for police-state measures
In the wake of Sunday’s declaration of an "orange alert," unprecedented security
measures have been implemented at key financial institutions in Washington, New
York and Newark, New Jersey. Hundreds of heavily armed local and federal police
have been deployed around the New York Stock Exchange and the Citicorp Center in
Manhattan, the Prudential Financial building in Newark, and the World Bank and
International Monetary Fund buildings in Washington. Checkpoints have been set
up where trucks and private vehicles are stopped and searched in random
fashion-a violation of constitutional safeguards against arbitrary searches.
Bridges and tunnels leading into New York have been closed to commercial
traffic. Police armed with automatic weapons have been posted on downtown street
corners and sent into subway stations, trains and buses, arbitrarily demanding
identity proofs and going through people’s belongings.The terror alert has been
used as the pretext for virtually walling off the
  Capitol building and its environs, even though no public institutions were
named in Homeland Security Secretary Tom Ridge’s Sunday announcement of the
alert, and the Senate sergeant-at-arms acknowledged that the alleged
intelligence prompting it contained no threat to the Capitol. A ring of 14
police checkpoints and concrete barriers has been set up around the Capitol,
Senate office buildings, the Library of Congress and the Supreme Court. The
closure of an entire street near the Capitol, without any consultation with
local officials, prompted Washington Mayor Anthony Williams to charge the
federal government with transforming "the symbols of American freedom and
democracy" into "fortresses of fear."

Intended as a counterterrorism tool, it doesn't work and tramples on travelers'
rights
Imagine a list of suspected terrorists so dangerous that we can't ever let them
fly, yet so innocent that we can't arrest them - even under the draconian
provisions of the Patriot Act. This is the federal government's "no-fly" list.
First circulated in the weeks after 9/11 as a counterterrorism tool, its details
are shrouded in secrecy. But, because the list is filled with inaccuracies and
ambiguities, thousands of innocent, law-abiding Americans have been subjected to
lengthy interrogations and invasive searches every time they fly, and sometimes
forbidden to board airplanes. It also has been a complete failure, and has not
been responsible for a single terrorist arrest anywhere. Instead, the list has
snared Asif Iqbal, a Rochester businessman who shares a name with a suspected
terrorist currently in custody in Guantanamo. It's snared a 71-year-old retired
English teacher. A man with a top-secret government clearance. A woman whose
name is similar to that of an Australian man 20
  years younger. Anyone with the name David Nelson is on the list. And recently
it snared Sen. Ted Kennedy, who had the unfortunate luck to share a name with "T
Kennedy," an alias once used by a person someone decided should be on the list.
There is no recourse for those on the list, and their stories quickly take on a
Kafkaesque tone. People can be put on the list for any reason; no standards
exist. There's no ability to review any evidence against you, or even confirm
that you are actually on the list. And, for most people, there's no way to get
off the list or to "prove" once and for all that they're not whoever the list is
really looking for.
It took Kennedy three weeks to get his name off the list. People without his
political pull have spent years futilely trying to clear their names.

Big Brother is always watching in Britain.
An estimated 4.2 million closed-circuit TV cameras observe people going about
their everyday business, from getting on a bus to lining up at the bank to
driving around London. It's widely estimated that the average Briton is
scrutinized by 300 cameras a day. The phenomenon is enabled by the arrival of
digital video, cheap memory and sophisticated software. And Britain is
acknowledged as the world leader of Orwellian surveillance -- perhaps because it
has the experience of Irish terrorism, and is on guard for even worse today.
Authorities maintain the cameras deter crime, and despite some claims to
contrary and the outrage of civil libertarians, the public seems willing to
accept the constant monitoring for the greater good.
In the past two months, British police used or publicized CCTV imagery during
investigations into a 12-year-old robbing a store at gunpoint, the disappearance
of a doctor, attacks by a serial rapist, a father and son hit by a train,
laptops stolen from a school and a soccer riot.

Woman Hands in Weapons After 30 Years
A Chinese woman in her 60s has handed in weapons and ammunition to police after
30 years of agonizing over what do with them, Xinhua news agency said on
Tuesday. The woman, surnamed Li, told police in southern Hainan Island she had a
cache of weapons and ammunition to turn over -- four grenades, a rifle and 165
bullets hidden in a wardrobe and in a book cabinet. She decided to hand in her
home arsenal after seeing a government announcement banning the possession of
weapons. "She worried if the weaponry was stolen, it might cause trouble,"
Xinhua said, "Li said she has been worrying about it for the past 30 years, and
now she could rest at ease."
The police were looking for the source of the weapons, the news agency said, but
did not say how they came into Li's possession.

U.S. May Shift Billions for Iraq Security
The State Department is considering whether $3.34 billion intended for public
works projects in Iraq should be used instead to bolster security, a State
Department official said Monday. The money would be part of $18.4 billion
Congress approved last year for rebuilding Iraq. Though the Bush administration
said then that the money was needed urgently, little has been spent because of
bureaucratic delays and security problems. The U.S. ambassador to Iraq, John
Negroponte, has recommended to State Department officials that the $3.34 billion
be reallocated from water, sewage and electricity projects. If security is
improved, oil production could be increased, eventually making more money
available for reconstruction, the official said, speaking on condition of
anonymity. Negroponte seeks to add 45,000 police, 16,000 border guards and 20
new national guard battalions of 700 to 800 men each.
The proposed shift in funding was first reported by The Wall Street Journal on
Monday.

U.S. Troops Wounded in Iraq Near 7,000
The number of American troops wounded in Iraq since the U.S.-led invasion in
March 2003 is approaching 7,000, according to figures published Tuesday by the
Pentagon. The death toll for U.S. military personnel is 975, plus three Defense
Department civilians. The wounded total has approximately doubled since
mid-April, when casualties and deaths mounted rapidly as the insurgency
intensified. The death toll over that period has grown by about 300. The
Pentagon, which generally updates its casualty count each week, said the number
of wounded stands at 6,916, up 226 from a week earlier. In the two months since
the United States handed over political sovereignty to an interim Iraq
government, the wounded total has grown by about 1,500.
The vast majority of casualties have been Marines and Army soldiers, although
the Pentagon announced on Tuesday the 13th member of the Air Force to die in
Iraq. Airman 1st Class Carl L. Anderson Jr., 21, of Georgetown, S.C., was killed
by a roadside bomb on Sunday near the northern city of Mosul. He was assigned to
the 3rd Logistics Readiness Squadron based at Elmendorf Air Force Base, Alaska.

Chirac to Meet Iraqi President for Talks
French President Jacques Chirac said that Iraq's interim president will travel
to Paris early next month for talks on how France can best contribute to Iraq's
reconstruction. Chirac told his nation's diplomats on Friday that France is
prepared to make a serious commitment to help Iraq achieve stability and
democratically elect its next leaders. "France is open to a dialogue with Iraqi
authorities on all subjects ?the training of security forces, Iraqi debt ?all
subjects that concern the rebuilding and the well-being of the Iraqi people,"
Chirac said. "It is in this spirit that I am receiving the Iraqi president at
the beginning of the month of September," he added.
Iraq has said its overall foreign debt of $122 billion is hindering postwar
reconstruction, and they want most of it to be forgiven, if not all.

12 Hostages From Nepal Are Executed in Iraq, a Militant Group Claims
In the single largest set of executions of foreign captives by Iraqi insurgents,
an Islamic militant group announced on Tuesday that it had killed 12 Nepalese
hostages. The group, the Army of Ansar al-Sunna, is the same one that claimed in
July to have killed Cpl. Wassef Ali Hassoun, a 24-year-old marine of Lebanese
descent, who surfaced later unharmed. But no such turnabout seemed possible in
this case: on its Web site, the group posted gruesome images of the Nepalese men
face down in sand, their bodies riddled with bullets. They were laborers who had
come here less than two weeks ago to work as cooks, cleaners and builders for a
Jordanian company. Their family members had pleaded for their release over the
weekend.
The Associated Press reported that a video from the Web site showed a masked man
in desert camouflage slitting the throat of a man who was blindfolded and lying
on the ground, and then holding the head close to the camera.

Nepalese Hostages Killed
An Iraqi group murdered 12 kidnapped Nepalese workers in cold blood yesterday as
a new deadline set for two captive French journalists by another group expired.
Ansar Al-Sunna posted pictures on its website of one of the Nepalese being
beheaded. “We have carried out the sentence of God against 12 Nepalese who came
from their country to fight the Muslims and to serve the Jews and the
Christians... believing in Buddha as their God,?the group said in a statement.
The group also posted a series of photographs showing the killing of the
hostages as well as a video. The recording showed two masked men, one in
camouflage, holding down a hostage. One of the men then used a knife to behead
the hostage and then held his head aloft. The video then showed a group of
hostages lying face-down in a dirt pitch being gunned down by a man using an
automatic rifle. It then showed bodies splattered with blood and with bullet
wounds in the head and back.
“Our brothers, do not feel any mercy or pity for these nasty and spiteful
people,?the statement said.

Nepal in shock at hostage execution claim in Iraq
Nepal was thrown into shock and disbelief after Islamic militants in Iraq
claimed through a grisly video to have killed 12 labourers who had left the
cash-strapped Himalayan kingdom to earn money. Hundreds of tearful villagers
crowded around the humble home in Lele village of Ramesh Khadka, 19, who was
among those allegedly murdered. "We were expecting their safe return. This is
very shocking. This is completely unexpected," said Sudarshan Khadka, Ramesh
Khadka's brother.
"My brother went there just to earn a living. He had nothing to do with the
Americans. We are helpless against fanatics," the 23-year-old said in this
village 20 kilometres south of the capital Kathmandu.

The former BBC director-general, Greg Dyke, has accused the British Prime
Minister of reneging on a deal that no heads should roll at the corporation over
the Hutton inquiry into the death of the arms expert Dr David Kelly. In his

Blair had "unleashed the dogs" after the Hutton report found the BBC had been

Military intelligence led Abu Ghraib abuse
A defense witness in Pfc. Lynndie England's preliminary court hearing testified
Monday that military intelligence operatives helped lead the abuse and
humiliation of naked Iraqi detainees at Abu Ghraib prison. Former Sgt. Kenneth
Davis, who described himself as a "private investigator and part-time minister,"
said he watched two intelligence specialists mishandle prisoners who were
suspected of raping a teenage boy. "I saw two people who appeared to be military
intelligence handcuffing two naked detainees," Davis testified. Although he did
not know their names at the time, Davis now identifies the men as Spec. Armin
Cruz, an intelligence analyst, and Spec. Roman Krol, an intelligence
interrogator. A previous witness from military intelligence testified at the
start of the month that he saw Cruz put his foot on the buttocks of one man and
press down to make it seem the three suspects were having sex. The Fay report
also said a witness saw Krol "dump water on the detainees from a cup
  and throw a foam football at them." The Fay report concluded, "This is a clear
incident of direct MI personnel involvement in detainee abuse; however, it does
not appear to be based on MI orders."
England, who took some of the photos that night, is facing 19 counts that could
send her to prison for as much as 38 years if she is court-martialed and
convicted.

Rumsfeld Denies Abuses Occurred at Interrogations
In his first comments on the two major investigative reports issued this week at
the Pentagon, Defense Secretary Donald H. Rumsfeld on Thursday mischaracterized
one of their central findings about the American military's treatment of Iraqi
prisoners by saying there was no evidence that prisoners had been abused during
interrogations.The reports, one by a panel Mr. Rumsfeld had appointed and one by
three Army generals, made clear that some abuses occurred during interrogations,
that others were intended to soften up prisoners who were to be questioned, and
that many intelligence personnel involved in the interrogations were implicated
in the abuses. The reports were issued Tuesday and Wednesday. But on Thursday,
in an interview with a radio station in Phoenix, Mr. Rumsfeld, who was traveling
outside Washington this week, said, "I have not seen anything thus far that says
that the people abused were abused in the process of interrogating them or for
interrogation purposes." A
  transcript of the interview was posted on the Pentagon's Web site on Friday.
Mr. Rumsfeld repeated the assertion a few hours later at a news conference in
Phoenix, adding that "all of the press, all of the television thus far that
tried to link the abuse that took place to interrogation techniques in Iraq has
not yet been demonstrated." After an aide slipped him a note during the news
conference, however, Mr. Rumsfeld corrected himself, noting that an inquiry by
three Army generals had, in fact, found "two or three" cases of abuse during
interrogations or the interrogations process.
In fact, however, the Army inquiry found that 13 of 44 instances of abuse
involved interrogations or the interrogation process, an Army spokeswoman said.
The report itself explicitly describes the extent to which each abuse involved

How Torture Came Down From the Top
The latest official reports on the prisoner abuse scandal contain a classic
Washington contradiction. Their headlines proclaim that no official policy
mandated or allowed the torture of detainees in Iraq and Afghanistan, and that
no officials above the rank of colonel deserve prosecution or formal punishment.
But buried in their hundreds of pages of detail, for anyone who cares to read
them, is a clear and meticulous account of how decisions made by President Bush,
his top political aides and senior military commanders led directly to those
searing images of naked prisoners being menaced with guard dogs. An abbreviated
tour of that buried narrative could begin on Page 33 of the report by the panel
led by James R. Schlesinger. There it details how President Bush, on the advice
of his White House counsel and attorney general, decided in February 2002 that
the Geneva Conventions would not apply to captured members of al Qaeda and
Afghanistan's Taliban.
This, despite the objections of the State Department and "many service lawyers,"
who worried that the decision "would undermine the United States military
culture, which is based on a strict adherence to the law of war."

A US army inquiry into the Abu Ghraib prison scandal has reportedly found that
the former top commander in Iraq violated standard procedures and allowed human
rights abuses to occur. Classified parts of the report on abuses at the Iraqi
prison say Lieutenant-General Ricardo Sanchez approved severe interrogation
practices intended for captives in Afghanistan and Guantanamo Bay, the New York
Times reported on Friday.
The report, prepared by a US army general, also says that by issuing and
revising interrogation rules three times in 30 days, Sanchez and his staff
created such confusion that interrogators' actions violated the Geneva
Conventions, which they understood poorly to begin with, the newspaper said

The dramatic leadership failures revealed by two investigations into the abuse
of Iraqi detainees will haunt the Army for months or even years as defense
attorneys explore them in court in attempts to mitigate accusations and ease
punishments for more than a score who could be charged, military legal experts
said yesterday.
But the senior officers cited for indirectly allowing the abuse to flourish at
the Abu Ghraib prison will not face charges under the findings of an Army report
issued this week -- a fact that three Army generals explained and defended
yesterday in interviews.
Those in the U.S. command structure who failed to supervise their subordinates,
who handed down unclear and in some cases illegal policies, and who ignored
signs of abuse were found in Army reports to be "responsible" for the problems
but not "culpable" because they did not have a direct hand in the mistreatment.

LYNNDIE England, the US army reservist facing jail for abusing prisoners in
Iraq, was "having a good time" watching soldiers build a human pyramid of naked
detainees, a soldier already convicted in the Abu Ghraib prison abuse scandal
testified yesterday. Private England, infamous for appearing in photographs of
the abuse, including one in which she held a naked man by a leash, participated
willingly in the degradation of inmates, Private Jeremy Sivits told a hearing at
Fort Bragg, North Carolina. He is serving a year in prison after pleading guilty
over the scandal. Sivits, testifying by phone from Camp Lejeune in North
Carolina, said England, 21, had joined other soldiers in "stamping on fingers
and toes" of inmates at the prison, once used as Saddam Hussein's torture
chamber. One published photograph shows her with Charles Graner, an alleged
ringleader in the abuse and by whom she is pregnant.

enjoying it," Sivits said. Meanwhile, he said, Private England was "sitting in

said, he saw soldiers stack seven naked detainees, whose heads were covered with
bags, into a human pyramid and photograph them. The pictures included shots of
England, 21, smiling, pointing at a detainee's genitals and posing behind the
pyramid. Sivits said England was "having a good time".
Sivits, the first witness to say he saw England abusing detainees, has admitted
abusing Abu Ghraib inmates and was jailed for a year. He gave evidence by
telephone from a military prison.

England, the pregnant 21-year-old soldier who became the public face of the
abuse at Abu Ghraib prison, a scandal that shocked world opinion and rattled US
efforts to stabilise Iraq. England, one of seven military police officers
charged, faces 19 counts of assault, conspiracy to mistreat prisoners,
committing indecent acts, disobeying orders and possessing sexually explicit
material. She could face up to 38 years in prison if convicted.
The hearing at Fort Bragg, North Carolina, is a preliminary phase of military
court proceedings and will help determine if she should face trial. Twenty-five
witnesses testified from August 3 to August 7 before the hearing was halted.

Medic Says He Saw Guards Beat Iraq Inmates
A Navy medic who served at a Marine detention facility in Iraq testified Tuesday
during a court-martial that he witnessed guards beating newly arrived inmates to
intimidate them. Petty Officer Carlton Blay said he saw defendant Sgt. Gary
Pittman and other Marine reservists punch and slap between 10 and 15 detainees,
but not an Iraqi inmate whose death is the focus of the trial. The detainees did
not resist the blows, which were strong enough to cause some to groan or
stagger, Blay said. Force was used to "create a sense of dominance" and let the
detainees know who was in charge at the makeshift Marine lockup, he said.
Blay's testimony came in the second week of the trial of camp guard Pittman, a
federal prison guard in New York in his civilian life. His court-martial is
believed to be the first stemming from the death of a prisoner in Iraq.

Russia pushed to join the organization as it seeks to restore influence in
Central Asia, where the four countries were ruled by Moscow before the collapse
of the Soviet Union. Four Central Asian nations on Saturday formally approved
Russia's membership to their economic bloc, providing Moscow the opportunity to
restore its influence in the strategic, energy-rich region. Also on Saturday,
the four nations signed a cooperation declaration with Japan, aimed to
strengthen ties with its major regional donor. In May, Russia said it would join
the Central Asian Cooperation Organization, established in 2001 to improve trade
ties among its members. The foreign ministers of Kazakhstan, Tajikistan,
Uzbekistan and Kyrgystan approved Russian membership at talks in the Kazakh
capital.
The organization has made little progress at economic integration in the three
years since its founding because of border disputes, ethnic tension, economic
hardship and security concerns.

When the dictator, Josef Stalin, first appeared at the brand-new United Nations
accompanied by representatives of Soviet "labor unions," other delegates cried
foul, asking, "How can there be labor unions in a government-run society?"
Stalin explained, "Ah, but these are Non-Governmental Organizations," and the
term "NGO" first came into the world's vocabulary. Nowadays, most of us are
likely to think of NGOs as large-scale charitable organizations who work all
over the world providing medical care in disaster situations, food to famine
sufferers or advocacy for political prisoners. One of the main reasons we even
recognize the names of the well-known groups is that they often canvass door to
door for donations to support their good works. However, there is a growing
number of less well-known NGOs who don't want to help the hungry feed
themselves, rather, their aim is to "eradicate hunger."
They don't want to help the poor become wealthy, rather, their goal is to
"eliminate poverty." Do these distinctions sound picky? Well, they're not.
Helping people means getting down to cases with the real people who are asking
for help, finding out what they really need and helping them in ways that enable
them to actually provide it for themselves. The much more abstract aims of
"eliminating" hunger or poverty typically involve utopian plans that are to be

Radical cleric Abu Hamza 'de-arrested' in London
Radical Islamic cleric Abu Hamza al-Masri has been de-arrested, but remains
detained as authorities examine his possible extradition to the United States to
face terrorism-related charges. British police said early Wednesday they had
de-arrested a 47-year-old man previously held on suspicion of being involved in
the preparation of acts of terrorism, but declined to identify him as Abu Hamza.
Hamza, 47, was arrested last Thursday in his cell in the Belmarsh high-security
prison under Britain's Terrorism Act 2000 on "suspicion of being involved in the
commission, preparation or instigation of acts of terrorism" within Britain.
Police at the time stressed their case was separate from the US extradition
proceedings. The hook-handed cleric gained notoriety for his fiery speeches at
London's Finsbury Mosque.
After being banned from giving sermons there he took his preaching out to the
street in front of the mosque, but he has been jailed since May.

Lord Black of Crossharbour, the former chief executive of the publishing giant
Hollinger International, and his associates ransacked more than US$400m ($609m)
from his former empire in an astonishing display of "corporate kleptocracy",
according to a report published yesterday. Lord Black, whose downfall forced
Hollinger to sell its prized British newspaper asset, The Daily Telegraph, to
the Barclay brothers last month, illegally took the money to fund lavish

Tycoon Conrad Black and his allies looted of more than 400 million dollars the
company he created to manage a global media empire, a report prepared for a US
court and regulators showed. The scathing report submitted to the Securities and
Exchange Commission and a federal court for a lawsuit against Black and his
associates painted a bleak picture of Black, who until last year was chief
executive of Hollinger International, and the firm's chief operating officer,
David Radler. The report also blamed high-profile members of the board of
directors for rubber-stamping Black's efforts and failing to question dubious
payments being made. Hollinger "was systematically manipulated and used by its
controlling shareholders for their sole benefit, and in a manner that violated

One of Britain's iconic names is back, in bizarre circumstances tailor-made for
the country's boisterous tabloids. Sir Mark Thatcher, son of British political
legend Margaret Thatcher, titled by inheritance, and wealthy through connections
and marriage, is in trouble in a far-off land for allegedly bankrolling a
bungled African coup attempt. The story features oil interests, a dictator
reported to harbor cannibalistic tendencies, mercenaries from elite private
schools in Britain, a Lebanese immigrant tycoon and faint echoes of Britain's
former colonial dominance. And the people are lapping it up, especially the
front-pages photos of the white-haired, suited Thatcher being led away from his
Cape Town mansion by police. "I wish my daughter could make what he's making,"

Australia's election campaign took a wacky turn on Tuesday with claims the
Greens party wanted to allow the sale of "party" drugs, state funding for sex
changes and laws to make people ride bicycles and eat less meat. The small but

of trading a life of poverty for one of royal comfort as one of King Mswati's

was a record, who danced in the festivities on Monday. HIV/AIDS, estimated to

by labeling Arabs "limb amputators." The United Kingdom Independence Party
(UKIP) -- a small Euroskeptic party that shot to fame by winning 12 European
parliament seats in June -- revels in controversy. And it is determined to keep
making headlines by loudly advancing the case for Britain's withdrawal from the
European Union, and shaking up next year's general election.
Also in its sights, if it can maintain support and cohesion, is Prime Minister
Tony Blair's bid to endorse the EU constitution in a referendum expected in
2006. UKIP believes it can help scupper that.

Futuristic 'Code 46' in same vein as Orwell's '1984' and Gillian's 'Brazil'
The prosperous live in cities with nearly impenetrable security checkpoints, and
only those possessing "papelles" - all-in-one insurance coverage, passport and
visa documents - are free to gain entry. Hordes of others live in desert
shantytowns, with no hope for a better life. Robbins plays William, an insurance
investigator from Seattle sent to Shanghai to look into a case of faked
papelles. William quickly identifies the forger as Maria (Morton), an employee
for an insurance conglomerate. Smitten with Maria, William fingers another
co-worker. He and Maria engage in an affair with a time limit - William's
papelle requires him to return home the next day. Yet William cannot shake his
obsession, Maria representing a depth of passion he cannot find in his numbly
pleasant life with his wife and young son. William returns to Shanghai to resume
the affair, eventually relying on a forged papelle himself as he and Maria try
to find safe haven.
In the vein of other romances doomed by totalitarian states, such as George
Orwell's "1984," George Lucas' "THX 1138" and Terry Gilliam's "Brazil," William
and Maria run afoul of "Code 46," a law strictly regimenting breeding in a world
where cloning presents dangers of undesirable genetic consequences.

Independent film ponders what American society will become as terrorism creates
heightened concern.
As national security becomes an increasingly greater concern, a soon-to-be
released independent feature film warns of the possible consequences of a
culture of hyper-security. “Yes, we all have to worry about terrorism, says
William Lee, director of “Room 13: The Terrorist Project. “But we have to be
careful and make prudent decisions about how to combat it. It wouldn’t take much
for government officials to make George Orwell’s 1984 become a reality.“Room 13:
The Terrorist Project?is a story of a solution to terrorism that has gone
horribly wrong. The main character, Vincent Kamiglia, has been assigned the task
of directly dealing with terrorist agents. Things go out of control as Kamiglia
becomes increasingly obsessed and starts to eliminate anyone he considers being
evil, or just in his way. He is aided by people in a security bureaucracy who
are more concerned with getting a job done than the ethics of how results are
achieved. Harlow Keith plays the role of Monroe, a government
  official who directly oversees Kamigilia’s activity. His experience playing
Monroe has left him deeply concerned about the security society that spring from
anti-terrorism efforts. “An institutional culture maybe the breeding ground for
a social virus that you may not want, explains Keith. “Any specialized national
security work force has a support bureaucracy. The clerks who make up a behind-
the -scenes staff can be just as criminal as the guy who pulls the trigger. Keep
in mind when you see the movie that behind every terrible thing Kamiglia does,
there is someone like Monroe who keeps data on the victims, files requisitions
for torture devices, and takes a coffee break afterwards. “It doesn’t take much
for an activist of any stripe to be labeled an ‘enemy of the state"
says Keith. “It just takes the right circumstances. We have got to move with
exceeding caution in the coming months as we confront the issue of terrorism. If
we aren’t judicious in future decisions, an obsessive need to have security

The Alien Grip on Our News and Entertainment Media Must Be Broken


There is no greater power in the world today than that wielded by the
manipulators of public opinion in America. No king or pope of old, no conquering
general or high priest ever disposed of a power even remotely approaching that
of
the few dozen men who control America's mass media of news and entertainment.
Their power is not distant and impersonal; it reaches into every home in
America, and it works its will during nearly every waking hour. It is the power
that shapes and molds the mind of virtually every citizen, young or old, rich or
poor, simple or sophisticated. The mass media form for us our image of the
world and then tell us what to think about that image. Essentially everything we
know -- or think we know -- about events outside our own neighborhood or
circle of acquaintances comes to us via our daily newspaper, our weekly news
magazine, our radio, or our television. It is not just the heavy-handed
suppression
of certain news stories from our newspapers or the blatant propagandizing of
history-distorting TV "docudramas" that characterizes the opinion-manipulating
techniques of the media masters. They exercise both subtlety and thoroughness
in their management of the news and the entertainment that they present to us.
For example, the way in which the news is covered: which items are emphasized
and which are played down; the reporter's choice of words, tone of voice, and
facial expressions; the wording of headlines; the choice of illustrations --
all of these things subliminally and yet profoundly affect the way in which we
interpret what we see or hear. On top of this, of course, the columnists and
editors remove any remaining doubt from our minds as to just what we are to
think about it all. Employing carefully developed psychological techniques, they
guide our thought and opinion so that we can be in tune with the "in" crowd,
the "beautiful people," the "smart money." They let us know exactly what our
attitudes should be toward various types of people and behavior by placing
those people or that behavior in the context of a TV drama or situation comedy
and
having the other TV characters react in the Politically Correct way. Molding
American Minds
For example, a racially mixed couple will be respected, liked, and socially
sought after by other characters, as will a "take charge" Black scholar or
businessman, or a sensitive and talented homosexual, or a poor but honest and
hardworking illegal alien from Mexico. On the other hand, a White racist -- that
is, any racially conscious White person who looks askance at miscegenation or
at the rapidly darkening racial situation in America -- is portrayed, at best,
as a despicable bigot who is reviled by the other characters, or, at worst, as
a dangerous psychopath who is fascinated by firearms and is a menace to all
law-abiding citizens. The White racist "gun nut," in fact, has become a
familiar stereotype on TV shows. The average American, of whose daily life
TV-watching takes such an unhealthy portion, distinguishes between these
fictional
situations and reality only with difficulty, if at all. He responds to the t
elevised actions, statements, and attitudes of TV actors much as he does to his
own
peers in real life. For all too many Americans the real world has been replaced
by the false reality of the TV environment, and it is to this false reality
that his urge to conform responds. Thus, when a TV scriptwriter expresses
approval of some ideas and actions through the TV characters for whom he is
writing, and disapproval of others, he exerts a powerful pressure on millions of
viewers toward conformity with his own views. And as it is with TV
entertainment,
so it is also with the news, whether televised or printed. The insidious thing
about this form of thought control is that even when we realize that
entertainment or news is biased, the media masters still are able to manipulate
most
of us. This is because they not only slant what they present, but they
establish tacit boundaries and ground rules for the permissible spectrum of
opinion.
As an example, consider the media treatment of Middle East news. Some editors
or commentators are slavishly pro-Israel in their every utterance, while others
seem nearly neutral. No one, however, dares suggest that the U.S. government
is backing the wrong side in the Arab-Jewish conflict and that it served
Jewish interests, rather than American interests, to send U.S. forces to cripple
Iraq, Israel's principal rival in the Middle East. Thus, a spectrum of
permissible opinion, from pro-Israel to nearly neutral, is established. Another
example
is the media treatment of racial issues in the United States. Some
commentators seem almost dispassionate in reporting news of racial strife, while
others
are emotionally partisan -- with the partisanship always on the non-White
side. All of the media spokesmen without exception, however, take the position
that "multiculturalism" and racial mixing are here to stay, and that they are
good things. Because there are differences in degree, however, most Americans
fail to realize that they are being manipulated. Even the citizen who complains
about "managed news" falls into the trap of thinking that because he is
presented with an apparent spectrum of opinion he can escape the thought
controllers'
influence by believing the editor or commentator of his choice. It's a "heads
I win, tails you lose" situation. Every point on the permissible spectrum of
public opinion is acceptable to the media masters -- and no impermissible fact
or viewpoint is allowed any exposure at all, if they can prevent it. The
control of the opinion-molding media is nearly monolithic. All of the controlled
media -- television, radio, newspapers, magazines, books, motion pictures --
speak with a single voice, each reinforcing the other. Despite the appearance of
variety, there is no real dissent, no alternative source of facts or ideas
accessible to the great mass of people that might allow them to form opinions at
odds with those of the media masters. They are presented with a single view
of the world -- a world in which every voice proclaims the equality of the
races, the inerrant nature of the Jewish "Holocaust" tale, the wickedness of
attempting to halt the flood of non-White aliens pouring across our borders, the
danger of permitting citizens to keep and bear arms, the moral equivalence of
all sexual orientations, and the desirability of a "pluralistic," cosmopolitan
society rather than a homogeneous, White one. It is a view of the world
designed by the media masters to suit their own ends -- and the pressure to
conform
to that view is overwhelming. People adapt their opinions to it, vote in accord
with it, and shape their lives to fit it. And who are these all-powerful
masters of the media? As we shall see, to a very large extent they are Jews. It
isn't simply a matter of the media being controlled by profit-hungry
capitalists, some of whom happen to be Jews. If that were the case, the
ethnicity of the
media masters would reflect, at least approximately, the ratio of rich
gentiles to rich Jews. Despite a few prominent exceptions, the preponderance of
Jews
in the media is so overwhelming that we are obliged to assume that it is due
to more than mere happenstance. Electronic News & Entertainment Media
Continuing government deregulation of the telecommunications industry has
resulted, not in the touted increased competition, but rather in an accelerating
wave of corporate mergers and acquisitions that have produced a handful of
multi-billion-dollar media conglomerates. The largest of these conglomerates are
rapidly growing even bigger by consuming their competition, almost tripling in
size during the 1990s. Whenever you watch television, whether from a local
broadcasting station or via cable or a satellite dish; whenever you see a
feature film in a theater or at home; whenever you listen to the radio or to
recorded music; whenever you read a newspaper, book, or magazine -- it is very
likely
that the information or entertainment you receive was produced and/or
distributed by one of these megamedia companies. AOL-TW. The largest media
conglomerate today is AOL-Time Warner, created when America Online bought Time
Warner
for $160 billion in 2000. The merger brought together Steve Case, a White
gentile, as chairman of AOL-TW, and Gerald Levin, a Jew, as the CEO. A brief
history
of the company is in order. The four (gentile) Warner brothers founded their
movie company in 1907 and had their first major success ten years later with
My 4 Years in Germany. WB incorporated in 1923 and went on to cartoon success
with Porky Pig and Bugs Bunny. In 1944, a court ruled that WB must release
Olivia de Havilland after her seven-year contract. This decision prevented any
one
company from controlling a pool of creative talent, but it did nothing to
stop the Jews from controlling the entire industry with which that talent was
obliged to work. In 1948, WB sold its film library to MGM. In 1949, another
court
ruling forced WB to sell its cinema chain, obstructing vertical integration
by a single movie-making company, while doing nothing to prevent the Jews from
establishing such integration through an ethnic collaboration. In 1958, WB
created Warner Brothers Records, which was later renamed WEA. In 1968, Jack
Warner sold his shares to Seven Arts, while DC and All-American Comics were
bought
by Kinney National Services (a funeral parlor conglomerate). Kinney turned
around and bought a talent agency, then turned around again and bought
Warner-Seven Arts, becoming Warner Communications. Warner Communications bought
Elektra
Records in 1970, the same year that Jew David Geffen started the Asylum label.
(The name is synonymous with crazy-house.) Time bought HBO from Charles Dolan
in 1972. Ironically, 1972 was also the year when Money magazine began
publication, while the (original) magazine Life ceased. Ted Turner entered the
major
media scene in 1976 when his TV station WTCG (Atlanta) was carried on US cable
networks. In 1979, Turner Communications Group became Turner Broadcasting
System, and WTCG was renamed WTBS. The following year, CNN became the world's
first 24-hour all-news cable network. Turner tried to buy CBS in 1985, but he
was
blocked when Lawrence Tisch, a Jew, bought 25% of shares. Instead, Turner
bought MGM's film library (1986). TBS merged with Castle Rock and New Line
Cinema
in 1994. In 1996, Turner made a career-busting faux pas by selling TBS to
Time Warner. AOL bought Time Warner in 2000. In 2001, Gerald Levin, who had been
Chairman of Time Warner and then CEO of the merged AOL-TW, fired Ted Turner
from his position during a telephone conversation. Control of TBS temporarily
shifted to Robert Pittman (a White gentile), but was given shortly afterward to
Walter Isaacson, a Jew, who was recruited from his former position at Time
Inc., to take over the company that Ted Turner built. We're reasonably certain
that Ted Turner would not have sold TBS to Time Warner if he'd known that Levin
was going to fire him only five years later. Levin smooth-talked Turner in
classic Jewish fashion, and Turner, having placed his trust in a Jew's honor,
paid the price for that mistake. But Levin wasn't finished with his dagger.
Having backstabbed Turner, he did likewise to his other useful dupe, Robert
Pittman. Pittman had been Levin's champion for the AOL-TW merger on the AOL
side.
While we don't know for certain what Pittman's motive was, we could guess that
it
had something to do with Pittman believing himself to be Levin's choice as
the new CEO at AOL-TW after Levin's retirement. But when the time came to
finalize his choice of successor, Levin bypassed Pittman and gave the position
to
his long-time pet mulatto, Richard Parsons. Parsons has been AOL-TW's CEO since
May 2002. Pittman, though initially grumpy about this treatment, has moderated
his tone. A paycheck less than Parsons' paycheck is still better than no
paycheck at all. Before the merger, AOL was the largest Internet service
provider
in America, and it is now being used as an online platform for the Jewish
content from Time Warner. Time Warner, with 1997 revenues of more than $13
billion, was the second largest of the international media leviathans when it
was
bought by AOL. Time Warner's subsidiary HBO is the country's largest pay-TV
cable
network. Until the purchase in May 1998 of PolyGram by Edgar Bronfman, Jr.,
Warner Music was America's largest record company, with 50 labels, the biggest
of which is Warner Brothers Records (WEA). Warner Music was an early promoter
of "gangsta rap." Through its involvement with Interscope Records (prior to
Interscope's acquisition by MCA), it helped to popularize a genre whose graphic
lyrics explicitly urge Blacks to commit acts of violence against Whites.
AOL-TW's publishing ventures include Time-Life International Books, Time-Life
Education, Time-Life Music, Time-Life AudioBooks, Book-of-the-Month Club (both
adult and children's branches), Paperback Book Club, History Book Club, Money
Book

Buena Vista Television) and cable networks with more than 100 million
subscribers
altogether. The TV stations under Disney control include: WLS (Chicago), WJRT
(Flint), KFSN (Fresno), KTRK (Houston), KABC (Los Angeles), WABC (New York
City), WPVI (Philadelphia), WTVD (Raleigh), KGO (San Francisco) and WTVG
(Toledo). Disney also has a major presence in radio, owning WKHX, WYAY and WDWD
in
Atlanta; WMVP, WLS, and WXCD in Chicago; WBAP and KSCS in Dallas; WDRQ, WJR and
WPLT in Detroit; KLOS and KTZN in Los Angeles; KQRS, KXXR, KDIZ, KZNR, and
KZNT in St. Paul; WPLJ in New York City; KSFO in San Francisco; WMAL, WJZW, and
WRQX in Washington; and ESPN Radio. As for feature films, the Walt Disney
Motion Pictures Group, under Walt Disney Studios, headed by Joseph E. Roth (also

run by the gentile Disney family, prior to its takeover by Eisner in 1984, it
epitomized wholesome, family entertainment. While it still holds the rights
to Snow White, the company under Eisner has expanded into the production of a
great deal of so-called "adult" material. In August 1995, Eisner acquired
Capital Cities/ABC, Inc., which owns the ABC Television Network, which in turn
owns
ten TV stations outright in such big markets as New York, Chicago,
Philadelphia, Los Angeles, San Francisco, and Houston. In addition, it has 225
affiliated stations in the United States and is part owner of several European
TV
companies. ABC's cable subsidiary, ESPN, is headed by president and CEO Steven
Bornstein, who is a Jew. The corporation also has a controlling share of
Lifetime
Television and A & E Television Networks cable companies, with 67 million
subscribers each. ABC Radio Network owns 26 AM and FM stations, again in major
cities such as New York, Washington, and Los Angeles, and has over 3,400
affiliates. Although primarily a telecommunications company, Capital Cities/ABC
earned
over $1 billion in publishing in 1997. Besides these publishing concerns,
Disney owns Walt Disney Company Book Publishing, Hyperion Books, and Miramax
Books. It also owns six daily newspapers, including the Albany Democrat and the
St. Louis Daily Record. Disney's magazine titles include Automotive Industries,
Biography (partial ownership), Discover, Disney Adventures, Disney Magazine,
ECN News, ESPN Magazine, Family Fun, Family PC, Institutional Investor, Jane,
JCK, Kentucky Prairie Farmer, Kodin, Los Angeles, Multichannel News, Penny
Power, Talk, Top Famille (France), Video Business, and Quality. Disney operates
660 retail stores worldwide (the figure is for April 2000). And, incidentally,
it is also invested in crude oil and natural gas exploitation. On the Internet,
Disney runs Buena Vista Internet Group, ABC Internet Group, ABC.com,
ABCNEWS.com, Oscar.com, Mr. Showbiz, Disney Online, Disney's Daily Blast,
Disney.com,
Family.com, ESPN Internet Group, ESPN.sportzone.com, Soccernet.com, NFL.com,
NBA.com, Infoseek (partial ownership), and Disney Interactive. Viacom. Number
three on the list, with 1997 revenues of just over $13 billion, is Viacom,
Inc., headed by Sumner Redstone (born Murray Rothstein), a Jew. Viacom was
formed
in 1971 as a way to dodge an anti-monopoly FCC ruling that required CBS to
spin off a part of its cable TV operations and syndicated programming business.
This move by the government unfortunately did nothing to reduce the mostly
Jewish collaborative monopoly that remains the major problem with the industry.
In
1999, after CBS had again augmented itself by buying King World Productions
(a leading TV program syndicator), Viacom acquired its progenitor company, CBS,
in a double mockery of the spirit of the 1971 ruling. Viacom produces and
distributes TV programs for the three largest networks, owns 13 television
stations and 12 radio stations. It produces feature films through Paramount
Pictures, headed by Jewess Sherry Lansing. Redstone acquired CBS following the
December 1999 stockholders' votes at CBS and Viacom. Working for Redstone as
CBS's
chief executive is a Jew named Melvin A. Karmazin. He is the boss and biggest
individual shareholder of the company that owns the CBS Television Network, 14
major-market TV stations, 160 radio stations, the Country Music Television and
the Nashville Network cable channels, and a large number of outdoor
advertising assets. Viacom's publishing division includes Simon & Schuster,
Scribner,
The Free Press, Fireside, Archway Paperbacks and Minstrel Books, Anne Schwartz
Books, MTV Books, Nickelodeon Books, Pocket Books, and Washington Square Press.
It distributes videos through over 4,000 Blockbuster stores (including the
Video Flicks chain in Australia). It is also involved in satellite broadcasting,
theme parks, and video games. Viacom's chief claim to fame, however, is as
the world's largest provider of cable programming, through its Showtime, MTV,
Nickelodeon, and other networks. Since 1989 MTV and Nickelodeon have acquired
larger and larger shares of the juvenile television audience. The first quarter
of 2001 was the 16th consecutive quarter in which MTV was rated as the #1
cable network for viewers between the ages of 12 and 24. Redstone, who actually
owns 76 per cent of the shares of Viacom, has offered Beavis and Butthead as
teen role models and currently is the largest single purveyor of race-mixing
propaganda to White teenagers and sub-teens in America and in Europe. MTV
Networks
acquired The Music Factory (TMF) from the Dutch media and marketing group
Wegener in 2001. TMF distributes music to almost 10 million homes in Holland and
Belgium. MTV is expanding its presence in Europe through new channels,
including MTV Dance (Britain) and MTV Live (Scandinavia). MTV Italy is active
through
Cecchi Gori Communications. MTV pumps its racially mixed rock and rap videos
into 210 million homes in 71 countries and is the dominant cultural influence
on White teenagers around the world. Nickelodeon, with about 65 million
subscribers, has by far the largest share of the four-to-11-year-old TV audience
in
America and also is expanding rapidly into Europe. Most of its shows do not
yet display the blatant degeneracy that is MTV's trademark, but Redstone is
gradually nudging the fare presented to his kiddie viewers toward the same
poison
purveyed by MTV. As of early 2001, Nickelodeon was continuing a nine-year
streak as the top cable network for children and younger teenagers. Viacom
operates two major motion picture enterprises jointly with Vivendi Universal
(detailed hereafter): United Cinemas International (UCI) and United
International
Pictures (UIP). Vivendi Universal. Another Jewish media mogul is Edgar Bronfman,
Jr. He headed Seagram Company, Ltd., the liquor giant, until its recent merger
with Vivendi. His father, Edgar Bronfman, Sr., is president of the World
Jewish Congress. Seagram owned Universal Studios and Interscope Records, the
foremost promoter of "gangsta rap." These companies now belong to Vivendi
Universal.
Bronfman became the biggest man in the record business in May 1998 when he
also acquired control of PolyGram, the European record giant, by paying $10.6
billion to the Dutch electronics manufacturer Philips. With the revenue from
PolyGram added to that from MCA and Universal, Bronfman became master of the
fourth largest media empire, with annual revenues around $12 billion. One
especially unfortunate aspect of the PolyGram acquisition was that it gave
Bronfman
control of the world's largest producer of classical music CDs: PolyGram owns
the Deutsche Grammophon, Decca-London, and Philips record companies. In June
2000, the Bronfman family sold Seagram to Vivendi, a French utilities company
formerly led by gentile Jean-Marie Messier. The combined company, Vivendi
Universal, retains Edgar Bronfman, Jr., as the vice chairman of the new company,
and
he will continue to be in charge of its entertainment division. As with the
AOL-TW merger, the strategy seemed to be infect and wait. The debt Vivendi
incurred by buying Universal was used to scandalize Messier, who had to resign.
Jean-René Fourtou became the Chairman/CEO of Vivendi on 3 July 2002.
Subsequently, to pay off its debts, Vivendi-Universal began selling assets,
beginning with
Seagam's alcohol business, but later selling some of its media holdings,
including its Houghlin-Mifflin publishing company (educational textbooks), which
had been acquired in June 2001, to a consortium formed by Thomas H. Lee
Partners, Blackstone Group, Bain Capital and Apax Partners. Jews nearly
everywhere
you look. With two of the top four media conglomerates in the hands of Jews
(Disney and Viacom), and with Jews filling a large proportion of the executive
jobs in the remaining two, it is difficult to believe that such an overwhelming
degree of control came about without a deliberate, concerted effort on their
part. What about the other big media companies? Rupert Murdoch's News
Corporation, which owns Fox Television Network, 20th Century Fox Films, and Fox
2000, is
the fifth largest megamedia corporation in the country, with 1997 revenues of
over $11 billion. It is the only other media company which comes even close
to the top four. Murdoch is a gentile (so far as we know), but Peter Chernin,
who is president and CEO of Fox Group, which includes all of News Corporation's
film, television, and publishing operations in the United States, is a Jew.
Under Chernin, as president of 20th Century Fox, is Laura Ziskin, a Jewess who
formerly headed Fox 2000. Jew Peter Roth works under Chernin as president of
Fox Entertainment. News Corporation also owns the New York Post and TV Guide,
and they are published under Chernin's supervision. Murdoch told Newsweek
magazine (July 12, 1999) that he would probably elevate Chernin to CEO of News
Corporation, rather than allow the company to fall into the hands of his own
children, none of whom are younger than their late twenties. It is hard to
imagine
a Jew giving a major media corporation to a gentile underling when he has
children waiting in the wings. For his part, Chernin was quite candid: "I get to
control movies seen all over the world. . . . What could be more fun?" Most of
the television and movie production companies that are not owned by the
largest corporations are also controlled by Jews. For example, New World
Entertainment, proclaimed by one media analyst as "the premier independent TV
program
producer in the United States," is owned by Ronald Perelman, a Jew who also owns
Revlon cosmetics and who offered a job to Monica Lewinsky when Bill Clinton was
  trying to keep her quiet. The best known of the smaller media companies,
DreamWorks SKG, is a strictly kosher affair. DreamWorks was formed in 1994 amid
great media hype by recording industry mogul David Geffen, former Disney
Pictures chairman Jeffrey Katzenberg, and film director Steven Spielberg, all
three
of whom are Jews. The company produces movies, animated films, television
programs, and recorded music. Considering the cash and connections that Geffen,
Katzenberg, and Spielberg have, DreamWorks may soon be in the same league as the
big four. It is well known that Jews have controlled most of the production
and distribution of films since shortly after the inception of the movie
industry in the early decades of the 20th century. When Walt Disney died in
1966,
the last barrier to the total Jewish domination of Hollywood was gone, and Jews
were able to grab ownership of the company that Walt built. Since then they
have had everything their way in the movie industry. Films produced by just the
four largest motion picture companies mentioned above -- Disney, Warner
Brothers, Paramount (Viacom), and Universal (Seagram) -- accounted for
two-thirds of
the total box-office receipts for the year 1997. The big three in television
network broadcasting used to be ABC, CBS, and NBC. With the consolidation of
the media empires, these three are no longer independent entities. While they
were independent, however, each was controlled by a Jew since its inception:
ABC by Leonard Goldenson; NBC first by David Sarnoff and then by his son Robert;
and CBS first by William Paley and then by Laurence Tisch. Over periods of
several decades these networks were staffed from top to bottom with Jews, and
the essential Jewishness of network television did not change when the networks
were absorbed by other corporations. The Jewish presence in television news
remains particularly strong. NBC provides a good example of this. The executives
at NBC recently were shuffled among the key positions. Andrew Lack, who had
been chief of the network's news division, ascended to become its president and
chief operations officer. Neal Shapiro, who had been producing Dateline NBC,
moved into Lack's old job. Jeff Zucker, who had been producing the Today show,
was promoted to NBC entertainment president (a job that apparently was
created for him), and Jonathan Wald moved into Zucker's old spot after shoving
aside
Michael Bass, who had been filling in for Zucker with Today. Some time ago,
Wald became the producer of the NBC Nightly News, taking the position from Jeff
Gralnick. When Wald moved to Today, Steve Capus took over as Tom Brokaw's
producer. It is not known at this time whether Capus is a Jew or not, but
everyone else is. A similar preponderance of Jews exists in the news divisions
of the
other networks. For example, in February 2000, Al Ortiz moved to head the
"Special Events" coverage at CBS, making gentile Jim Murphy the executive
producer of The CBS Evening News with Dan Rather -- and the only exception that
we
know of to an otherwise solidly Jewish cadre of television news producers. The
new CBS Early Show, which replaced CBS This Morning, had an internal shakeup in

At least 170 million people - and perhaps as many as 360 million - have been
murdered by their own governments in this century. This is more than four
times the 42 million deaths from civil and international wars. When a state
murders some of the general population, it is called democide; when it murders
minorities, the term is genocide. Thus genocide is one type of democide.
Democide
is employed to intimidate, demoralize or subjugate and to maintain power.
Democracies have not entirely eschewed democide, but they have usually inflicted
it
on colonial populations. Communist regimes have killed the most people in
this century, followed by Nazi Germany, which killed more than 16 million people
between 1933 and 1945. The Soviet Union killed 54.7 million between 1917 and
1987, and China killed 35.6 million between 1949 and 1987. The Khmer Rouge
killed a much larger percentage of its nation's people, liquidating about a
third
of all Cambodians between 1975 and 1979. The more productive people are, the
more governments can tax and confiscate. So the more productive people are, the
more costly it is for governments to kill them. Evidence indicates that
governments respond to this economic incentive. Other things being equal, a 1
percent increase in per capita real Gross Domestic Product (GDP) leads to about
a
1.4 percent decline in killing. The increased value of a human life in the
Soviet Union and China from increased output per capita may have done more to
slow
the pace of state murder in those countries than changes in policy after the
deaths of Stalin and Mao Tse-tung: During the Stalin era (1929-53), about 42.7
million people were killed in the Soviet Union, while 8.1 million were killed
in the following 34 years. In China, 34.4 million people were killed during
the reign of Mao Tse-tung (1949-76), and 874,000 were killed in the following
decade. Countries that kill their own people are poorer and grow more slowly
than countries that do not. A comparison of 33 less-developed countries that
have not practiced state-sponsored killing with 23 that have shows the average
annual real GDP of the murderous states to be about 20 percent less than it
might have been. Among the nations that have paid the highest price: Killing by
the state in Rwanda during the years 1962-90 reduced annual GDP by 27 percent.
Killing in Burundi during 1965-90 reduced GDP by 54.8 percent. Killing in
Angola from 1975-89 reduced output by 61.6 percent. Over several centuries,
governments have tended to murder a smaller percentage of their people. However,
the
killing of massive numbers by Communist countries in the 20th century reversed
that trend...

GENEVA (Reuters) - The European Union and its allies got the go-ahead
on Tuesday to impose some $150 million in sanctions on U.S. goods in
a dispute that could stir trade tensions ahead of the U.S. elections.

World Trade Organization (WTO) arbitrators backed the EU and seven
other WTO members' demand to punish U.S. failure to revoke an
anti-dumping law -- the so-called Byrd amendment -- repeatedly
declared illegal by the Geneva-based body.

EU Trade Commissioner Pascal Lamy in Brussels urged Washington to
repeal the controversial law. "I hope the U.S. will now take action
to remove this measure, thus avoiding the risk of sanctions," he said.

In Washington, a spokesman for U.S. Trade Representative Robert
Zoellick repeated a long-standing pledge to "work closely with
Congress" in order to comply with WTO rules.

The U.S. administration has urged Congress to drop the measure, which
passes on anti-dumping levies to U.S. firms, but the law enjoys
strong backing from legislators who see it as helping struggling
industries.

"The United States remains committed to resolving this issue in a way
that promotes the competitiveness of American workers," said
spokesman Christopher Padilla.

The arbitrators, in a ruling running to more than 60 pages, set no
amount for retaliation, but laid down a formula which complainant
countries could use to fix punitive duties.

The disputed law, named after Democratic Senator Robert Byrd of West
Virginia, forces the government to distribute to U.S. companies money
raised in anti-dumping duties levied on foreign firms.

HIT BACK

The European Union, Japan, Canada, Brazil, India, Mexico, Chile and
South Korea argued successfully at the WTO that those payments, to
U.S. ball bearing, steel, candle, pasta, seafood and other companies,
amounted to an illegal subsidy.

They had asked for sanctions for the same amount as U.S. firms
receive, but arbitrators set the figure at 72 percent.

"The decision confirms that the U.S. position was wrong," the
coordinator-general of trade disputes at Brazil's Foreign Ministry,
Roberto Carvalho de Azevedo, told Reuters. "It (the decision) avoids
a domino effect, as various countries were threatening to adopt
similar measures (to Byrd)."

Washington argued no direct damage to competitor firms could be
proven and that sanctions were unwarranted.

Based on disbursements under the amendment in 2003, the EU said
current sanctions could amount to $150 million for the eight members.
But the figure looks set to rise in coming years if Congress digs in
its heels.

Japan would be a big beneficiary, with its companies picking up some
two-thirds of the anti-dumping levies imposed by the United States so
far this year, according to trade officials.

The spat is one of a series involving the administration of President
Bush, an avowed "free-trader" accused by critics of being reluctant
to bow to WTO rules when they go against the United States.

The disputes have led to rumblings in Congress that the WTO is
overstepping its authority.

A Senate aide, who asked not to be identified, said there was "no
way" Congress would simply repeal the amendment.

"I think it's going to be very difficult, if not impossible, to do
anything this year" given the tight legislative calendar ahead of the
November elections, he added.

However, diplomats said the EU would be in no hurry to impose
sanctions, which are a double-edged weapon that can also hurt
exporting firms.

"The legal victory has been won and the preference would be that the
U.S. would simply see that there's nowhere to go on this ... (and)
withdraw the law," said one diplomat in Brussels.

       You are 100% correct in your writings below. What we were trying to do
was to keep life simple for those who do not know Law or how to read it. A
good example is your writing below where you took the time to explain in
detail. At times we do not have the time to explain matters in the way you
have done because of our back-log. Our attention is focused on our clients
and if there is free time we research and post valuable articles to assist
the general public and concerned readers that can use our work as a brief in
court.



        People get confused with the term "citizen of the United States"
verses an "American Citizen" and/or citizen of (name your state here).

As you are well aware of: the 14th Amendment was never properly ratified
(along with others) but the courts work on the words such as "adopted" and
assumption," where these said words are very dangerous if not corrected in
court. Everyone should draft their own declaration and have it filed in the
city/town where they live and carry a copy with them, especially into any
courtroom.

Everything here is correct except for the last sentence, which is
actually a fragment. That point is important, because law is applied
semantics. Every word and punctuation mark in LAW is there for a
reason.

The 14th Amendment does not apply to white folks born in this
country. Don't try to give me admonishment for that statement, as
federal judge Roslyn O. Silver kindly revealed that information to me
personally as I was suing the Bank of America for closing my
non-interest-bearing checking account simply because I gave the
Social Security number (fraudulently issued to me as a minor) back to
its rightful owner, the Social Security Administration. I canceled
the SS-5 agreement simultaneously. The bank decided it didn't want to
do business with me anymore.

Ignorantly claiming the 14th Amendment and Civil Rights Act
guaranteed me "equal protection under the laws," I received a short,
but important education in that arena. The judge said they pertain
"primarily -- exclusively to racial or ethnic origin issues." In
short, where "equal protection under the law" is used, it is for
racial purposes.

As an aside, even though banks are quasi-governmental agencies (as
banks can only function according to federal regulations), and the
banks' own documentation quotes their adherence to sections of the
Privacy Act, banks are not prosecutable under the Privacy Act because
the court has ruled that banks are not government agencies.
Accordingly, they can close your account and refuse to open one
without a SSN if they want to. Since all the banks are a cabal of the
Federal Reserve, and are officially private, you can't win.

Back to the 14th Amendment, the opening line of Section 1 is the key
to the jurisdiction of the rest.

"All persons born or naturalized in the United States and subject to
the jurisdiction thereof..."

The jurisdiction of the United States is clearly defined in Art I,
sec 8, clause 17 of the Constitution for the united States (hereafter
CuS).

"The Congress shall have Power...To exercise exclusive Legislation in
all Cases whatsoever, over such District (not exceeding ten Miles
square)...and to exercise like Authority over all Places purchased by
the Consent of the Legislature of the State in which the Same shall
be, for the Erection of Forts, Magazines, Arsenals, dock-Yards and
other needful Buildings;"

Clearly the definition of "United States," where jurisdiction issues
are concerned, means the District of Columbia, Guam, Puerto Rico
(where the Federal Reserve is incorporated), American Samoa, the U.S.
Virgin Islands, other territories, and properties purchased from
States. If any other meaning is to be assumed, it would conflict with
the using of specific buildings and the District as defined above.
The law can not assume to be conflicting where relevant.

It is easy to see by the applicable law that we are not "born or
naturalized" in the United States' jurisdiction (exceptions listed
above) and most importantly, NOT SUBJECT TO THE JURISDICTION THEREOF.
Notice the two conditionals are connected with an "and" not an "or."

I am not a "citizen of the United States." I am a "national of the
united States" (as reflected on my passport) and a domiciliary of the
State I spend most of my time in.

Perhaps this person should familiarize themselves with Art VI, sec 2
of the CuS:

"This Constitution...shall be the supreme Law of the Land; and the
Judges in every State shall be bound thereby, any Thing in the
Constitution or Laws of any State to the Contrary notwithstanding."

It was the representation of the People that ratified the supreme Law
of the Land. The Amendments were attached to the Constitution by
Congress assembled on December 15, 1791. That action verified that
the lawful Congress at that time blessed the CuS as the supreme Law
of the Land.

I am unaware of a single State that doesn't have in its Constitution,
the reference to the Supreme Law of the Land being the CuS. In
Arizona, it is Article 2:

While no federal program can be FORCED onto a State, Mack v US,
nowhere is it prohibited for the federal government to withhold
funding from States if States don't do what they're told.

That's the achilles heal. If we can keep the money collected from the
People in the States wherein the taxes are levied, THEN we can tell
federal programs to shove it up their collective orifices.

This is why I harp for the removal of Repugnocrats at the State and
local level, and the education of the Constitution upon the masses.

(WASHINGTON, D.C.) Judicial Watch, the public interest group that investigates
and prosecutes government corruption, today released recently declassified
documents showing that Democratic presidential nominee Sen. John Kerry accepted
laundered contributions for his 1996 re-election campaign from the Communist
Chinese government and that, in exchange, he may have arranged meetings between
Chinese aerospace executives and U.S. government officials.

Obtained from the FBI through Freedom of Information Act and Privacy Act
requests, the documents are related to the FBI's "Chinagate" investigation into
the Clinton campaign's acceptance of contributions from Communist Chinese
government sources.  Among the documents released is an investigative outline
dated March 27, 1998, that details the FBI's "proposed areas of inquiry" into
the actions of Democratic fund-raiser Johnny Chung, including questioning him
about meetings Sen. Kerry set up with China Aerospace executives and about a
fund-raising event for the senator in Los Angeles.  The other document, dated
Aug. 24, 1998, requests a polygraph of Chung, mentioning that he laundered
contributions for the Clinton/Gore '96 election campaign and for Sen. Kerry. 
The documents are heavily redacted, and Judicial Watch is appealing the FBI's
decision to keep secret portions of the documents.

Chung pled guilty in March 1998 to election law violations and, in a plea
bargain, began cooperating with the FBI.  Judicial Watch represents Chung in a
lawsuit against Justice Department officials who, during the Clinton
administration, leaked information about Chung's cooperation with the
department's Campaign Finance Task Force.  The unauthorized and illegal release
from a sealed plea agreement of information, including the fact that he and his
family were in protective custody in California, put the lives of Chung and his
family in jeopardy.

"These disturbing FBI documents raise further questions about Sen. Kerry's
involvement in what looks like a quid pro quo (cash for meetings) with the
Communist Chinese," said Judicial Watch President Tom Fitton.

Court Fights Loom Over E-Voting Paper Trail

By the end of Tuesday, August 31, over 350 people were arrested for
participation in a march and die-in protesting military training at
the
SOA/WHINSEC(*) and the war and occupation in Iraq.  Over 300 of the
arrests
were made within one block of the Ground Zero starting point of the
peaceful
march.  Among those illegally arrested was SOA Watch's Communications
Coordinator, Christy Pardew. Despite the arrests, the protesters
re-organized, arrived at the intended destination -- one block away
from
Madison Square Garden, the site of the convention -- and staged a
die-in to
portray the death and suffering caused by the invasion of Iraq and at
the
hands of SOA-trained soldiers.

As of September 1st, those arrested are still being held at a
makeshift
detention center, Pier 57 -- a three-story, block long "holding pen,"
formerly a bus repair depot -- with a 1,000 person capacity.  In the
last
week and a half, over 1,700 protesters have been arrested.

Action Coalition and other organizations to plan a full day of
nonviolent
direct actions throughout New York City during the Republican National
Convention (RNC). Nonviolent direct action has been a key element in

Although I do not live in Florida now, I was raised down there.
Given the rapid population growth of the state, many of the people
there are newcomers. They may not be familiar with some of the
history of the areas in which they live.

    So, as this list has the most members of any list I am on, I am
going to attempt to provide a head's up for those people on it who
may be in Florida, and or could pass the word to those people who
live there.

    Back in the 1920's the population of south Florida was almost
nonexistent. Nevertheless, when a major hurricane came through, it
made news throughout the nation at that time. Over 2,000 people were
killed. The mechanism responsible for the majority of the deaths was
that the storm was powerful enough to create storm tides that
literally moved Lake Okeechobee. Several of the small communities
surrounding Lake Okeechobee were wiped off the map as a result. For
some time after that Congress considered passing legislation banning
people from living in that area.

    That legislation never passed. What they did instead in the
1930's was that they built a system of dykes to contain Lake
Okeechobee.

    Well, it is now 2004. I honestly do not know how well that dyke
system has been maintained. Obviously there are thousands if not
tens of thousands more people living close to Lake Okeechobee than
there were in the 1920's. My concern is that if Frances comes close
enough to Lake Okeechobee it is possible that the dyke system could
fail in sections. In which case the potential for loss of life would
be high. So, my advice is that if you live close to Lake Okeechobee
you should seriously consider evacuating.

The facts speak for themselves:

    More American children than ever are pouring into already overcrowded
schools.
CY: And who (Hint: Bill Clinton) and his administration presided over the last 8
years of decline?


    Many attend their first day of school without the preschool so vital to
learning.
CY: I'm more concerned about parents who use television as a baby sitter.
Parents should read the
Bible and other books to their kids.

    America now faces the largest wave of teacher retirements in our country's
history, while young
teachers leave the classroom at alarming rates.
CY: I'd leave the class room if the Fed was trying to run my life by mandates.

    14 million children are home alone after school, but after-school programs
are the first to be
cut in the current budget crunch.
CY: And what happened to homework and play time? I suppose that was cut from the

Why AB-50 is Bad for California

*AB-50 WILL ADD A NEW, MULTI-MILLION DOLLAR BUDGET ITEM WHEN THE
GOVERNOR'S 10-POINT RECOVERY PLAN CALLS FOR A FREEZE ON SPENDING AND
SPECIAL CUTS TO REDUCE THE DEFICIT.

Despite claims of "little or no fiscal impact" by AB-50 proponents,
the 2003 California Budget Summary shows that media campaigns
comparable to those called for in AB-50 added between four and nine
million dollars each to the 2003 budget. This does not include the
open-ended costs of establishing and managing a statewide database
for the registration and tracking of lawfully-owned fifty caliber
rifles. This bill was passed in the same week that California puts
it's surplus on the auction block in the Governor's "State Garage
Sale" to help reduce the budget defecit. AB-50 defies and combats the
Governor's 10-Point Recovery Plan.

*AT A TIME WHEN CALIFORNIA IS TRYING TO DRAW BUSINESS TO THE STATE,
AB-50 WOULD DRIVE EXISTING BUSINESS OUT OF STATE, COSTING UNTOLD
MILLIONS LOST.

each year, we have numerous employees and, as clients, we support a
wide range of vendors in our area. We run a huge metal machining
business in addition to our rifles but if AB-50 passes we will have
no choice but to let everyone go and relocate to another state. More

ALL laws must have a scope and effect.

So tell me what the "gun laws" in your state do, that the requirements

If you are not a criminal as verified by the ATF FORM 4473, then why
do you need a "gun license" from your podunk state for?

What does the State "gun license" do, that isn't accomplished by
the ATF 4473?

While we are working on this new media network (the Fully Informed
Citizen Association of America) and its radio, DVD and print
publications to inform the masses on topics such as this, the best
way to effect change in education is to pull the kids out of the
public school system. I did.

I home-school my 12 year-old, and he's taking a 9th grade curriculum
this year. The only way kids will learn HISTORY, and the complex
nuances of ENGLISH as well as factual SCIENCE (not the revisionist
history, slang, and evolutionism) is to teach the kids ourselves.

In addition, he won't learn that homosexuality is acceptible, or that
income taxes apply to his earnings from American companies, or that
some jobs are for illegals because Americans just won't do them.

If you are a single parent, then private school is the only solution.
If you are married, one of you must stay home and teach the children.
You asked what we can do, and that's it!

In addition, NEVER EVER vote for evil (even if its the lesser) and
only vote FOR someone who understands that the Constitution is the
cage in which government is to be confined.
