Have to say, the iOffer DVD being discussed on the GoBotron forum has been
pretty disappointing. I wish the author had taken advantage of the fact that
nearly half of the episodes plus the movie were available on VHS. So many
episodes are not only so-so visually/aurally but poorly edited with missing
title sequences, sloppy commercial breaks, and unsynced audio.
I guess it was worth it to, after 20 years, finally get to see some of the
really obscure episodes again. It was at least easier that finally hooking up
my 16mm projector and hoping the reels would run through it alright. The
impression I took away was that those couple of episodes might be why TransFans
have such a dim view of this show. I find much less fault with Hanna Barbera's
choices of what to preserve and what to let drift away...

Anyone needing all episodes on vhs or dvd i have them if anyone is interested to
email me, i might not see your message here secretdefender at sifen7 dot com
I do! I do! What kind of quality are they? I have a set now but about half of
them are fuzzy and some are not even playable. Please let me know how much
you'd like for them? I don't need anything special like menus or cases, just
the episodes. Thanks.

Can anyone tell me what Gobots websites they visit? I am familiar with the Toy
Archive site but would like to branch out a little more. I don't have many of
the toys but I do have a decent amount of the collectibles, books, etc so I
would particularily like to find sites that have those items pictured.
Thanks!
Dan
Post your questions here and we can help? WE are all big toy collectors.

Jerzy Drozd is one of my favorite unknown comic makers. He and some of his
friends do all sorts of sketches like this, so check it out.
Also, here's some video of him putting it together.

Gobots, like many other old cartoons: is still in the mind of a lot o people.
Even, the Thundercats will have a new show this year......., and Smurfs a
real-life-cgi movie.
Gaiking from Go nagai (creator of Mazinger Z): and interesting return in a
amazing CGI animation (check the trailer in youtube).
And the gobots?: ....waiting.......
See ya.
And thanks for the make the gobots-groups
(Carlos)
I noticed that cartoons by Hanna-Barbara are being released on dvd now.
I wrote an e-mail to Warner to see if Gobots was on the list of being released
as well but unfortunately no possitive reply came. They were unable to make any
remarks on upcoming projects.
Let's just keep our fingers crossed...
I am not sure a new version will work; but a comic version would be good enough
for me.
There are enough crossovers with the Transformers already to warrant a
mini-series at least. Let it be written by TF guru Simon Furman because, let's
be honest, it can never be worse than the TF comic IDW is releasing now.
William *but a DVD of the series I would like most...*

FYI,
According to the below link, Gobots is planned for DVD by Warner Archive:
http://www.tvshowsondvd.com/news/Challenge-GoBots-DVDs-Planned/14988
So looks like us Gobots fans will finally be able to get the entire series on
DVD eventually!

I noticed that too. They should release a DVD box set for the fans.
Yes since Michael Bay got his grybby mits in Transformers it's
certainlt gone down hill - what a major disappointment. The new
'Megatron' looks like a bucket of bolts that the three little pigs
can blow over.
Go bots on DVD! Pretty please with the cherry on top ;)

Hopefully this isn't bad news.

Could that affect Challenge of the GoBots? Is it a false rumor, like they're
saying a MOD version of Pac-Man is?
For crying out loud, after I pre-order 10 copies of this DVD...

Wow, really should've looked at the post date...I hope you guys are half as
serious about making this DVD a success as I am.

I already ordered mine. It may only be the pilot mini, but it's a start and
hopefully the full run will follow. Still no info on whether or not Battle
of the Rock Lords will ever see release.
It safe to say "Toonnarific Cartoon Archive", and "Overlord CyKill's Webpage of
Mass Destruction" have both went to website heaven. So now take this moment of
silence for them. Hopefully we will see them again maybe...
Very sad.
Even, i still waiting the chapters remasterized.

Sad :(
It's sad when there's a lack of interest and websites die. I've had
the same happen to many of my fave Qui-Gon ones too.
They may be available on the wayback archives of the web?
