"Actually, I think he got distracted, and I had promised you a
reading before all the ruckus started. So why don't we lay out some
cards for you? Gavin can come by when we're finished." the bangles
and charms on her wrist tinkled as she gestured toward the alcove.
One of the birds flew overhead and Ivy's eyes suddenly darted toward
its direction. She followed the bird very intently for a moment and
looked back down with a slight grin. Her movements and manner was
entirely feline and Jen began to feel nervous about her birds. Ivy
just as suddendly ignored the bird and walked toward the alcove.
Shrugging Jen followed, but the birds decided to stay behind.....
Inside is an arrray if pillows arranged around a low table. On top is
an assortment of candles, crystals, spell components and a large
hookah. Sandalwood incense was burning in a clay pot, and her small
black cat was curled in a ball in the middle of the table. The cat
wakes as Ivy approaches and gives her a generous wink with both eyes.
"Please make yourself comfortable, and tell me how you got to this
place." Ivy said as she pulled out her cards and began to shuffle.
