Today's Scripture *January 8, 2010*

Leviticus 26: 1
“Do not make idols or set up carved images, or sacred pillars, or sculptured
stones in your land so you may worship them. I am the Lord your God.

The twenty sixth chapter of Leviticus presents the two paths of obedience and
disobedience that God set before the people. The people of the Old Testament
were warned over and over again against worshiping idols. We wonder how they
could deceive themselves with these objects of wood and stone. Yet God could
very well give us the same warning today, for we are prone to put idols before
Him as well. Idolatry is making anything more important than God, and our lives
are full of that temptation. Money, looks, success, reputation, security--these
are some of today's idols. As you look at these false gods that promise
everything you want but nothing you need, does idolatry seem so far removed from
your experience?

Father God, we want to worship only You!
We want our lives to be centered around You!
Guide us Lord. Show us any areas in our lives that we are putting ahead of You.
Reveal to us any "false gods" or "idols" we have in our lives.
Forgive us Lord for our weakness and failure to put You first in our lives, and
in our hearts.
May we daily be reminded of our need to place You above all else and all others.
In Jesus' Name, Amen..

Blessings!
Have a great weekend!
Your Sister in Christ,
April

I was asked recently "What does it mean to keep the faith" and I wanted to share
what I said with you today:

Keeping the faith means not to doubt. If the Lord tells us: "Trust in Me and
don't doubt", do we really do it or do we allow the seed of doubt, which is
planted by the enemy, take fruit? That is not pleasing God, and what begins to
happen is that you begin to give room to the devil to work his iniquities
instead of giving room to God to perform his miracles through us.

How many blessings have you lost because of doubt? As the Lord says: "But
without faith it is impossible to please him: for he that cometh to God must
believe that he is, and that he is a rewarder of them that diligently seek him"
Hebrews 11:6.

The Lord tells us: "Fear thou not; for I am with thee: be not dismayed; for I am
thy God: I will strengthen thee; yea, I will help thee; yea, I will uphold thee
with the right hand of my righteousness" Isaiah 41:10. "God hath spoken once;
twice have I heard this; that power belongeth unto God" Psalm 62:11. "For with
God nothing shall be impossible" Luke 1:37. "Wherefore let them that suffer
according to the will of God commit the keeping of their souls to him in well
doing, as unto a faithful Creator" 1 Peter 4:19. "And the world passeth away,
and the lust thereof: but he that doeth the will of God abideth for ever" 1 John
2:17.

If only we could keep focused more on the Lord and less on man, how different
our lives would be. How many times has the Lord demonstrated through His word
the works of faith from His servants? Reading the entire chapter of Hebrews 11
is a perfect example of faith at work. Did He fail His servants at any time? No,
of course not because God never fails us and He is never mistaken. If he sends
us to do something, whether we want to do it or not, we must do it because that
is His will.

If man understands it or not doesn't matter, because the Lord has given us an
order and we must obey Him in that precise moment, not just when it's convenient
for us or because we may have something to gain from it. How many people didn't
believe Noah when God told him to build the ark. They must have thought that he
was crazy. Why? Because they were a faithless and disobedient generation and
that was the reason for their destruction.

That is the whole point, if we don't do the will of God, but instead seek to do
our own will, what we will have accomplished is the Holy Spirit within
ourselves. How can the Holy Spirit dwell in us if we are not being obedient to
God? "In every thing give thanks: for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus
concerning you. Quench not the Spirit" 1 Thessalonians 5:18-19. "Know ye not
that ye are the temple of God, and that the Spirit of God dwelleth in you?" 1
Corinthians 3:16.

We must remember at all times that this walk is a walk of faith. What is faith?
Faith is trusting completely in God, never doubting that what He tells us is
true at all times. Faith is believing in what you can't see, it is seeing with
your spiritual eyes instead of your carnal eyes.

1 Peter 1:8-9 says: "Though you have not seen him, you love him; and even though
you do not see him now, you believe in him and are filled with an inexpressible
and glorious joy, for you are receiving the goal of your faith, the salvation of
your souls.

Just remember Christ's love can dispel sorrow, help a broken heart, and give us
a great assurance that the love of God is real.

May the Lord Bless you,Rev. D. M. Barry

Baptized in the Holy Spirit Part 2 of 3
Thursday, January 7, 2010
This is part 2 of the Word that was given yesterday….
Remember, tongues are just the initial sign or evidence of being baptized in the
Holy Spirit.  It has always been that way.  We have to learn to yield to God
and not to our flesh.  The less I talk in tongues, the less manifestations of
the Holy Spirit I have.  Speaking in tongues is the door to the rest of the
nine spiritual gifts.

(Mar 16:17)  And these signs shall follow them that believe.  In my name shall
they cast out devils; they shall speak with new tongues.  In the New Testament,
the Apostle Paul had much to say about speaking in tongues.  He practiced what
he preached.  (1Co 14:18)  I thank my God; I speak with tongues more than ye
all.   Yes, I speak in tongues much of the time and wish that everyone would
speak in tongues because it is the source of your power to live the faith led
life and to be a witness.  All Christians should be speaking in tongues as a
witness to others of what can belong to them though the appropriation of the
power of the Holy Spirit daily.

Here are Some Reasons Every Believer Should Speak in Tongues

Tongues are the Initial Sign
(Act 2:4)  And they were all filled with the Holy Ghost, and began to speak
with other tongues, as the Spirit gave them utterance. Speaking in tongues is
your first evidence of the baptism of the Holy Ghost.   Read in (Act 10:46)
for they heard them speak with tongues, and magnify God…  They heard them
speaking.  That was with their natural ears.

Tongues remind us that we have the indwelling presence of the Holy Ghost.
(Joh 14:16)  And I will pray the Father, and he shall give you another
Comforter, that he may abide with you for ever. (Joh 14:17)  Even the Spirit of
truth; whom the world cannot receive, because it seeth him not, neither knoweth
him: but ye know him; for he dwelleth with you, and shall be in you.  The Holy
Spirit Baptism is not only the initial evidence of the indwelling of the Holy
Spirit, but must be the continual evidence of the indwelling of the Holy
Spirit.    Howard Carter, the founder of the oldest Pentecostal Bible College
in the world told us that Speaking in Tongues is a flowing stream that should
never dry up and will enrich our life spiritually.

Continuing to pray in tongues will help us to always be reminded of God’s
indwelling presence.  It affects the way we live.  Praying in tongues will
help you to control your flesh and act the way God wants you to act.  If you
will always take time to fellowship with God, praying and worshipping in the
spirit, you will be better able to walk uprightly before Him.

Tongues are for Spiritual Edification
(1Co 14:4)  He that speaketh in an unknown tongue edifieth himself; but he that
prophesieth edifieth the church.  When writing to the Church at Corinth, Paul
encouraged them to speak in tongues for their spiritual edificaiton.  The word
in our English that is actually closest to the word edify would be “to
charge.”  It would be like charging your battery.  We are like the chord and
we plug into Him to build us up or strengthen us.  This wonderful spiritual
edification (not physical or mental) is for everyone.  (1Co 14:2)  For he that
speaketh in an unknown tongue speaketh not unto men, but unto God: for no man
understandeth him; howbeit in the spirit he speaketh mysteries.  One
translation of the Bible called it “divine secrets.”  (1Co 14:14)  For if
I pray in an unknown tongue, my spirit prayeth, but my understanding is
unfruitful.
Notice right there that the scripture says in verse 14, “my spirit
prayeth.”  The amplified translation read, “My spirit, by the Holy Spirit
within me prays.”

I have heard so many people question the value of speaking in other tongues.
How can you read in the Word of God the 16th chapter of Mark and not know that
you must speak in tongues, every believer.  (Mar 16:17)  And these signs shall
follow them that believe; In my name shall they cast out devils; they shall
speak with new tongues.

Praying in Tongues stimulates faith.
(Jud 1:20)  But ye, beloved, building up yourselves on your most holy faith,
praying in the Holy Ghost.  Praying in the Holy Ghost stimulates faith and
helps us to trust God more fully.  I have seen people who have not been able to
have faith in the past, baptized in the Holy Ghost.  Then they were able to
stand in faith and receive their healing.  Praying in tongues helps you to have
faith in God for many promises.  You have a higher faith level.

Praying in Tongues is praying in line with God’s will.
(Rom 8:26)  Likewise the Spirit also helpeth our infirmities: for we know not
what we should pray for as we ought: but the Spirit itself maketh intercession
for us with groanings which cannot be uttered.  (Rom 8:27)  And he that
searcheth the hearts knoweth what is the mind of the Spirit, because he maketh
intercession for the saints according to the will of God.

Speaking in Tongues helps to keep selfishness out of your prayers.  Prayers out
of your own mind and natural thinking has the possibility of being
unscriptural.  Too often we have prayed “Lord bless me and my four and no
more.”   Paul didn’t say that we don’t know how to pray, we do.  We
pray to the Father in the name of the Son.  Just because we know how to pray
doesn’t mean we always know what to pray.  He said  “For we know not what
we should pray for as we ought: but the Spirit itself maketh intercession for
us.”   Have you ever wanted to express something to someone and can’t seem
to place just the right words?  That is why we need to pray in tongues.  He
knows just how to say it to the Father for us.  The Holy Ghost doesn’t do
your praying for you.  He prays through you.  You still have to use your
lips.

Tongues help you to avoid worldliness and vexation of your spirit.
(1Co 14:28)  But if there be no interpreter, let him keep silence in the
church; and let him speak to himself, and to God. Another reason every Christian
should speak in tongues is that this is a means of keeping free from the
contamination of the ungodly and the profane and all the vulgar talk around us
on the job or out in public.

Notice from the scripture above that we can speak with tongues to ourselves.
Paul said that in the church service, “if any man speak in an unknown tongue,
let it be by two or at the most by three, and that by course; and let one
interpret.  But if there be no interpreter, let him keep silence in the Church
and let him speak to himself and to God”  (1 Cor 14:27-28).

If we can speak to ourselves and to God in a Church service, we can also do it
on the job or at the grocery store.  It won’t disturb anyone.  In the barber
shop, for instance when some men tell risqué’ jokes.  Just sit there and
speak to yourself and to God in tongues.  Parents learn at an early age of
their children to tune the noise around us out for our own sanity.  We have to
learn to tune out the world’s noise.  When riding the bus or airplanes, we
can speak to God in tongues to our selves.  You can pray silently in English
and you can pray silently in tongues.  Talking in tongues to your own self and
to God will be a means of helping to keep free from contamination of wrong
spirits.

Praying in Tongues enables us to pray for the unknown.
Praying in tongues provides a way to pray for things we might not otherwise
think of or of some things of which we are unaware.  We already know that the
Holy Spirit helps us to pray for what we know not how to pray as we ought.  But
in addition, the Holy Spirit—who knows everything—can pray through us for
things about which our natural minds know nothing.

A few years ago, pastor friends of mine had a significant event in their
family.  The father of the family had taken the two children down to the river
to play and relax.  The water was barely trickling along in one place.  They
were wading in the shallow water when his daughter who was very small at that
time was upstream in plain sight just a few yards from him.  He was watching
her from his vantage point.  He saw a huge wall of water coming right at her.
There had been a flash flood that had accumulated upstream where they had a
large rain.  The noise was suddenly so great that he couldn’t get her
attention or reach her in time to get her out of harm’s way.  Finally she
looked up just in time to see the danger and jumped out of the river bed to
safety.  When they arrived home, he related to his wife the story.  The wife
told him that at just that moment in time, the Holy Spirit had urged her to pray
in tongues vigorously for several
minutes.  She had no idea at the time what was going on.  She quit praying
when she was full of peace again.  Obviously the Holy Spirit had her to
intercede for her daughter at just the right moment.  If she had known in the
natural about this situation, her concern could have hindered her for a moment
and there wasn’t a moment to spare.  Thank God she had yielded to the urging
of the Holy Spirit right away.

I heard another story about a man in World War II.  There was a point when he
was out in the field on assignment in Europe when he was totally surrounded with
no way out.  Suddenly a way of escape just opened up to him and he was able to
escape unharmed.  When he told his mom about the situation, they compared the
time and realized that it had been at that exact moment when the Holy Spirit had
led her to intercede in tongues.  She did not know what it was about.  She
just prayed until she had peace.  God had done it again.

When the word says when we know not what to pray as we ought, it can mean it is
a situation that we don’t know the will of God about or it can be a situation
that we are completely unaware of.

See your faith at work.
I have seen in the spirit many different things when I was praying in tongues.
Sometimes this is Him guiding you to intercede in the Spirit.  Another thing
that the Lord has taught me is to get a faith image that fits with His will and
praying in tongues.  We don’t always know just how to pray, but He does.  I
got a faith image of a man at the altar receiving him, lifting his hands up to
God and praying in Tongues.  How God does that is up to Him.  (2Co 10:4)
(For the weapons of our warfare are not carnal, but mighty through God to the
pulling down of strong holds;)  The mind is the battlefield in which you fight
the enemy.  Yielding your thoughts to a good faith image as you pray, leaves
even less room for the enemy to try to work against your thinking.  (2Co
10:5)  Casting down imaginations, and every high thing that exalteth itself
against the knowledge of God, and bringing into captivity every thought to the
obedience of Christ.
In Him,
Prophetess Frances Lloyd
(Act 6:4)  But we will give ourselves continually to prayer, and to the

The Solution Exists

The solution exists before the problem. This truth can save you a lot of
worrying. So often in life we freak out because we don’t think there is an
answer, a cure, a way out. We needn’t worry. It’s there. We just need to
find it.
The 64 million dollar question … how do we find it?! The first step is owning
this truth that whatever issue you are facing, the solution exists.
Today, remind yourself that God works beyond logic. Answers come from
unexpected places. But the solution exists. The more you feel this truth, the
faster it will come.

Today's Scripture *January 7, 2010*

Mark 1: 35-37
Before daybreak the next morning, Jesus got up and went out to an isolated place
to pray.  Later Simon and the others went out to find him. When they found him,
they said, “Everyone is looking for you.”

Were the disciples impatient that Jesus prayed in solitude while so much
ministry work waited to be done? How would you have responded? If you had been
the one to find Jesus in prayer? It's easy to be so caught up with ministry that
you neglect times of solitude, individual worship, and prayer. Perhaps you need
to redesign your schedule to find time for earnest prayer. It is vitally
important to:
(1) seek the Lord before your busy schedule takes over your thoughts;
(2) withdraw from noise and demands so you can focus on God;
(3) take Jesus' attitude of regular communion with the Father;
(4) reflect on the priorities Jesus had for His life;
(5) determine to pray on a more regular basis, not just in times of crisis. If
prayer was important for Jesus, then it must be even more important for His
followers. Pray--even if you have to get up early in the morning or stay up late
at night to do it!
Psalm 119: 147 I rise early, before the sun is up; I cry out for help and put my
hope in your words.
Proverbs 31: 18 She makes sure her dealings are profitable; her lamp burns late
into the night.

Heavenly Father, we thank You for Your Holy Word to us today.
Help us to get better at prayer! We want to spend more time in Your presence.
We want to have regular times of communion with You.
Show us the changes that we need to make in order to build up a solid prayer
life.
We want to spend time with You, Lord. Guide us as we seek more of You..
In Jesus' Name, Amen..

God bless!

Baptized in the Holy Spirit Part 1 of 3
Wednesday, January 6, 2010
The Baptism of the Holy Spirit is the next important thing for you to receive
after salvation.  The Lord is still laying foundations for these next weeks and
months in your life.  You need to study this lesson.  Be sure that you copy it
and keep it.  You can teach it in your church services and Sunday Schools.  It
is good basic information that everyone should know and live by.  I know that
it is lengthy, but you need all of the information. I have studied under
countless men and women of God.  I have and am so hungry for His revelation
knowledge.  The more Word you study, the greater the Holy Spirit will speak to
you.
There is one thing that I can tell you from experience.  My life changed
substantially when I was baptized in the Holy Spirit.  I was born again at age
nine.   I was then filled with the Holy Spirit in my early twenties.  I had
only led one person to the Lord in all those years before the Baptism of the
Holy Spirit.  However, after I was baptized in the Holy Spirit that changed.
In (Act 1:8) But ye shall receive power, after that the Holy Ghost is come upon
you: and ye shall be witnesses unto me both in Jerusalem, and in all Judaea, and
in Samaria, and unto the uttermost part of the earth.  I can truly report that
I became a much greater witness of His salvation and in everything in His
Word.  The Word began to open up to me.  I learned to be led by the Spirit of
God and to hear His voice.  It wasn’t but three months after being baptized
with the Holy Spirit that I had my first “Word of Knowledge.”  As I grew in
faith, it happened more
and more.  Over several years, I moved into the office of the Prophet.  It
became clear that the Lord wanted to use me to bring His Words of encouragement
to His people to give them hope and faith to receive everything that He had
already promised to them.

The first year after I was filled with the Holy Spirit, the Lord helped me
through the Holy Spirit to win sixty souls into the Kingdom and bring most of
them into my church that I was attending at the time.  It had been a small
church and then almost doubled in size.  I didn’t at that time have very much
knowledge of the Word.  However, I quickly began to grow.  I know that God
blessed me to be in a spirit filled church to learn the moving of His Holy
Spirit in Prophecy.  The pastor would tell us which gift of the Holy Spirit was
in operation with each act of the Holy Spirit.  She was patiently teaching us
how the gifts of the Holy Spirit moved.

The Baptism of the Holy Spirit is the second most important event in your
spiritual life.  If there is one important fact that I want to get across to
God’s people is the importance of being baptized in the Holy Spirit.  It is
available to each of His believers.  Not only is it available it is necessary
for you to reach your potential as believers.  No, you can make heaven without
it, but why would you want to try? It is so much harder without the Baptism of
the Holy Spirit.

The infilling with the Holy Spirit into the New Testament believers should be
included in our way of doing things today and until Jesus returns.    The
Holy Spirit was given for many reasons.  Our Lord said that He would not leave
us comfortless.  The Holy Spirit is our guide, our teacher, our helper, our
strength and much more.  Jesus recognized that we would need the Holy Ghost
after He was taken up into heaven to sit on the right hand of the Father to make
intercession for the saints according to the perfect will of God.
Faith cometh by hearing, and hearing by the word of God (Romans 10:17).
Therefore it is necessary that you understand all about the Holy Spirit, so that
you have the faith to receive it and to walk in it.    You receive the
Baptism of the Holy Spirit the same way as you receive salvation.  You must
have the gospel preached to you and accept it by faith.
Take a look at the Acts of the Apostles.  You really should read the whole book
of Acts.  Check out their methods of ministering the Holy Ghost to people or
personally receiving it.  It was first received on the day of Pentecost with
the initial evidence of speaking in tongues.  How did they know that they were
baptized in the Holy Spirit?  It was because they spoke in other tongues.  All
through the whole Word of God He used stories or parables for our understanding
to learn to do things God’s way.   He is always there with you.  He is
working in your behalf to bless you with all of His promises.  For anything
that we are attempting to receive or to do in our lives, the Word of God should
be our example.
In the first Chapter of Acts, right before Jesus ascended to heaven to sit on
the right hand of the Father, the stage was set to receive the Baptism of the
Holy Spirit for the first time. They were instructed to wait for the Baptism of
the Holy Spirit.  They were commanded to come together in unity.  This
scripture is one of the reasons that in our vernacular today, we call receiving
the indwelling presence of the Holy Spirit, the Baptism of the Holy Spirit.
You are filled to overflowing.   (Act 1:4)  And, being assembled together
with them, commanded them that they should not depart from Jerusalem, but wait
for the promise of the Father, which, saith he, ye have heard of me.  (Act
1:5)  For John truly baptized with water; but ye shall be baptized with the
Holy Ghost not many days hence.

The next scene that you need to picture was on the day of Pentecost when the
Church received the baptism of the Holy Ghost for the first time.  It is true
that you do receive a measure of the Holy Spirit when you are born again,
however that is merely the initial work of the Holy Spirit.  There is a
subsequent work of the Holy Spirit called the Baptism of the Holy Spirit.
There is the Baptism of Fire and the Baptism unto repentance.  We are dealing
only with the Baptism of the Holy Spirit in this lesson.  (Act 2:1)  And when
the day of Pentecost was fully come, they were all with one accord in one
place.  (Act 2:2)  And suddenly there came a sound from heaven as of a rushing
mighty wind, and it filled all  the house where they were sitting. (Act 2:3)
And there appeared unto them cloven tongues like as of fire, and it sat upon
each of them.  (Act 2:4)  And they were all filled with the Holy Ghost, and
began to speak with other tongues, as
  the Spirit gave them utterance.

After studying the Word of God, I was convinced that there must be that initial
evidence of speaking in other tongues as the spirit gives you utterance to know
for sure that you have been baptized in the Holy Spirit.  Speaking in Tongues
is the Holy Ghost giving you the words to speak and you using your mouth to
speak it out.   I had received the same experience that they had received when
they received the Baptism of the Holy Ghost.  As they did, I received with the
Bible evidence of Speaking in Tongues.   You certainly should be blessed when
you receive the Baptism of the Holy Spirit, but you don’t stop there.  You
must grow in His Spirit and in faith in the Word of God.  This growth comes
from feeding yourself the Word of God and through using your gift of speaking in
tongues.

These next scriptures show us that you must have salvation first and then the
Baptism of the Holy Spirit.  It can happen the same day as salvation but it
does often happen at other times as well.  In my case receiving salvation and
receiving the Baptism of the Holy Spirit was years apart.

Receiving your salvation meant that someone preached the gospel to you.  You
believed it and received the finished work of Calvary.  Again, you need to hear
the gospel concerning the Baptism and receive it as well.  Get to know all that
you can about it.  Then ask in faith and you will receive it.  It is available
to every believer, including you.
(Act 8:5)  Then Philip went down to the city of Samaria, and preached Christ
unto them.  (Act 8:6)  And the people with one accord gave heed unto those
things which Philip spake, hearing and seeing the miracles which he did.  (Act
8:7)  For unclean spirits, crying with loud voice, came out of many that were
possessed with them: and many taken with palsies, and that were lame, were
healed.  (Act 8:8)  And there was great joy in that city.  (Act 8:12)  But
when they believed Philip preaching the things concerning the kingdom of God,
and the name of Jesus Christ, they were baptized, both men and women.

Many denominations teach that you get all of the Holy Spirit that you will ever
need when you are born again.    According to Mark 16:15-16 they were saved
already when they believed.  (Mar 16:15)  And he said unto them, Go ye into
all the world, and preach the gospel to every creature.  (Mar 16:16)  He that
believeth and is baptized shall be saved; but he that believeth not shall be
damned.

There is a work in the Holy Spirit that is not called the Baptism of the Holy
Spirit, but the work of Salvation or being born again.  The Baptism unto
Salvation is the ordinance of the church were you are lowered in the water
signifying that you were buried in the watery grave and raised to walk in the
newness of life by faith in Christ Jesus.  Yet, you must know that there is an
experience beyond that initial experience called the Baptism of the Holy
Spirit.  When the Apostles at Jerusalem heard of the wonderful things God had
done through Philip’s ministry in Samaria, they sent Peter and John to lay
their hands on the new converts that they might receive the Holy Ghost.  You
always need that further experience when you are first born again.  When the
Word of God is sown into your heart, the enemy comes right away to steal it from
you.  (Mark 4:15) (Mar 4:15)  And these are they by the way side, where the
word is sown; but when they have heard,
Satan cometh immediately, and taketh away the word that was sown in their
hearts.

(Act 8:14)  Now when the apostles which were at Jerusalem heard that Samaria
had received the word of God, they sent unto them Peter and John: (Act 8:15)
Who, when they were come down, prayed for them, that they might receive the Holy
Ghost:(Act 8:16)  (For as yet he was fallen upon none of them: only they were
baptized in the name of the Lord Jesus.) (Act 8:17)  Then laid they their hands
on them, and they received the Holy Ghost.

He tried to buy the gift of Speaking in Tongues.  Even though it does not
specifically mention speaking with tongues here, it certainly didn’t say that
they did not speak in Tongues.  In my opinion, this is evident in light of
other scriptures.  Look in (Act 8:18)  And when Simon saw that through laying
on of the apostles' hands the Holy Ghost was given, he offered them money, and
in (Act 8:19)  Saying, Give me also this power, that on whomsoever I lay hands,
he may receive the Holy Ghost.  It is obvious there was a visible manifestation
when they received the Holy Ghost because it was seen physically.  You cannot
see the Holy Ghost with your natural eyesight.  He is a spirit.  The Holy
Spirit is not an it.  He is a He.  He is the third person of the trinity.
There is God the Father, God the son, and God the Holy Spirit.

Cornelius’ account of salvation and then the Baptism of the Holy Spirit…
This story was about ten years after the day of Pentecost.   Read their
account.  (Act 10:44)  While Peter yet spake these words, the Holy Ghost fell
on all them which heard the word.  (Act 10:45)  And they of the circumcision
which believed were astonished, as many as came with Peter, because that on the
Gentiles also was poured out the gift of the Holy Ghost. (Act 10:46)  For they
heard them speak with tongues, and magnify God… Reading this entire story, we
see how an angel appeared to Cornelius and told him to go to Joppa, and inquire
in the house for Simon Peter.  They needed to be saved.  (You must hear the
gospel in order to be saved.)   Peter then preached the gospel to them.  They
were born again.  It was afterward they received the Holy Ghost and spoke in
Tongues before he finished the message.  It was the speaking in tongues that
had convinced all
those accompanying Peter that these Gentiles had received the Holy Spirit.
The Jewish believers were astonished that the Gentile believers received it.
However, that is a whole other lesson.

People filled with the Holy Ghost in Ephesus
Then twenty years after the day of Pentecost, Paul  journeyed to Ephesus.
There he met some believers and introduced them to the person of Holy Ghost.
(Act 19:1)  And it came to pass, that, while Apollos was at Corinth, Paul
having passed through the upper coasts came to Ephesus: and finding certain
disciples, (Act 19:2)  He said unto them, Have ye received the Holy Ghost since
ye believed? And they said unto him, we have not so much as heard whether there
is any Holy Ghost. (Act 19:3)  And he said unto them, unto what then was ye
baptized? And they said, Unto John's baptism.  Read this one as well.  (Act
19:6)  And when Paul had laid his hands upon them, the Holy Ghost came on them;
and they spake with tongues, and prophesied.  Take notice in the scriptures
above that they previously didn’t even know there was a Holy Ghost until Paul
preached about it and then laid hands on them and they received it and spoke in
Tongues.  Notice there was
no waiting, no praying and no tarrying.  They just received it.  In this
scripture it also tells us that the Baptism of the Holy Spirit is required first
before you can be used in the gift of the Holy Spirit listed in 1 Corinthians
12:7-11.

Paul’s infilling of the Holy Ghost
Paul, the one who had laid hands on them to receive the Holy Spirit was
previously known as Saul of Tarsus.  The account of his baptism of the Holy
Ghost is found in Acts 9:10-12, 17.  (Act 9:10)  And there was a certain
disciple at Damascus, named Ananias; and to him said the Lord in a vision,
Ananias. And he said, Behold, I am here, Lord.  (Act 9:11)  And the Lord said
unto him, Arise, and go into the street which is called Straight, and enquire in
the house of Judas for one called Saul, of Tarsus: for, behold, he prayeth, (Act
9:12)  And hath seen in a vision a man named Ananias coming in, and putting his
hand on him, that he might receive his sight.

Saul, who was later called Paul, received the Holy Ghost immediately.  He
didn’t have to tarry or wait.  He received  instantly.  I grant you that it
doesn’t say here that he spoke in tongues.  Take a look at (1 Co 14:18) I
thank my God I speak with tongues more than ye all.  Tongues had been spoken by
the then Apostle Paul.  He didn’t start speaking in tongues before he
received the Holy Ghost.  It isn’t too difficult to figure out when he began
to speak in tongues.  It started when he baptized in the Holy Spirit just like
the rest of us who have it.  Tongues go with it.

There are nine gifts of the Holy Spirit.  It is the beginning of it all.  I
have found out that in my own life that when I pray more and I worship God in
tongues, there are more manifestations of the other nine gifts of the Holy
Spirit.  They are (1) Word of Knowledge,  (2) Word of Wisdom, (3) Discernment,
(4) Faith,  (5) Different kinds of Tongues, (6) Interpretation of Tongues, (7)
Healing, (8) Prophesy and,(9) Working of Miracles.

Today's Scripture *January 6, 2010*

Exodus 16: 14-16
When the dew evaporated, a flaky substance as fine as frost blanketed the
ground. The Israelites were puzzled when they saw it. “What is it?” they
asked each other. They had no idea what it was.
And Moses told them, “It is the food the Lord has given you to eat. These
are the Lord’s instructions: Each household should gather as much as it needs.
Pick up two quarts for each person in your tent.”

Manna (16:31) appeared on the ground each day as thin flakes like frost. The
people gathered it, ground it like grain, and made it into honey-tasting
pancakes. For the Israelites the manna was a gift--it came everyday and was just
what they needed. It satisfied their temporary physical need.
In John 6: 48-51Yes, I am the bread of life! Your ancestors ate manna in the
wilderness, but they all died.  Anyone who eats the bread from heaven, however,
will never die.  I am the living bread that came down from heaven. Anyone who
eats this bread will live forever; and this bread, which I will offer so the
world may live, is my flesh.”
Jesus compares Himself to manna. Christ is our daily bread who satisfies our
eternal, spiritual need.

Thank You Jesus! For being all that we need!
You are our Bread of Life!
Thank You for coming into the world that we might be saved.
We praise Your Magnificent and Holy Name, Amen..

Have a blessed day!
April

Daily Golden Footprints
Roman Road
Tuesday, January 05, 2010

The Lord has been speaking to me about being ready to do His Work.  You need to
be prayed through and have all sin under the blood so that you are ready.  Also
you need to know and be well versed in this information so that you can win
souls.  You can no longer leave it to someone else.  You must be prepared.

We are in the last days.  As times are harder and harder, more people are and
will be reaching out to God.  Believers, you must be ready!  It is true that
the larger focus of this ministry is often prophetic and therefore
encouragement, exhortation, edification and confirmation of what God is telling
you.  It is quite often to the saints.  In the midst of ministering to other
believers, you must remember that the miracle of salvation is the greatest
miracle of all.  John 10:10 says… I am come that they might have life, and
that they might have it more abundantly.  Life is talking about our eternal
salvation.  More abundantly is talking about the quality of your life here on
earth.

We are all instructed to take care of our own hearts so that the right things
will be  in us and coming forth from us.  (Proverbs 4:23)  Keep thy heart
with all diligence; for out of it are the issues of life.  One of the most
important things is to be aware of and sharing our salvation.  I call it
staying “in Christ.”  (Acts 2:38)  Then Peter said unto them, Repent, and
be baptized every one of you in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of
sins, and ye shall receive the gift of the Holy Ghost.

As a child, I was taught what our church called the Roman Road to salvation.
My church always put a high emphasis on soul winning. These scriptures in Romans
are an excellent and simple explanation of salvation.  Everyone should keep a
copy with them so that this information is available when there is an
opportunity to witness.  We have all been called to be witnesses.  (Acts
1:8)  But ye shall receive power, after that the Holy Ghost is come upon you:
and ye shall be witnesses unto me both in Jerusalem, and in all Judea, and in
Samaria, and unto the uttermost part of the earth.

The Boy Scout motto fits here…  Be prepared!  (1 Peter 3:15)  But sanctify
the Lord God in your hearts: and be ready always to give an answer to every man
that asketh you a reason of the hope that is in you with meekness and fear:

I suggest that you highlight this and copy it to a notepad or word program.
Then I would keep a couple of copies with me at all times so that you can give
them to the person you are witnessing too.  We all love it when God supplies
our needs and blessed us, but how much are we in obedience to God’s command to
reach out to share Him with others?  To walk in all of His blessings, you must
first come to Him.  You must be in Christ.  (John 15:7, Matthew 28:19-20, Mark
16: 15-20)

The Roman Road to Salvation

The ROMANS ROAD....  It is a group of Bible verses from the book of Romans in
the New Testament which explains salvation.  It has been called the Roman Road
to Salvation for many years.  If you walk down this road you will end up
understanding how to be saved. You must be born again.

Romans 3:23  "For all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God."
We all have sin in our hearts. We all were born with sin.  We were born under
the power of sin's control.

Admit that you are a sinner.

Romans 6:23a  "...The wages of sin is death..."
Sin has an ending.  It results in death.  We all face physical death, which is
a result of sin.  But a worse death is spiritual death that alienates us from
God, and will last for all eternity.  The Bible teaches that there is a place
called the Lake of Fire where lost people will be in torment forever.   It is
the place where people who are spiritually dead will remain.

Understand that you deserve death for your sin.

Romans 6:23b  "...But the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our
Lord." Salvation is a free gift from God to you!  You can't earn this  gift,
but you must reach out and receive it.

Ask God to forgive you and save you.

Romans 5:8,  "God demonstrates His own love for us, in that while we were yet
sinners Christ died for us!"  When Jesus died on the cross He paid sin's
penalty. He paid the price for all sin, and when He took all the sins of the
world on Himself on the cross, He bought us out of slavery to sin and death! The
only condition is that we believe in Him and what He has done for us,
understanding that  we are now joined with Him, and that He is our life.  He
did all this because He loved us and gave Himself for us!

Give your life to God... His love poured out in Jesus on the cross is your only
hope to have forgiveness and change.  His love bought you out of being a slave
to sin.  His love is what saves you --  not religion, or church membership.
God loves you!

Romans 10:13  "Whoever will call on the name of the Lord  will be saved!"

Call out to God in the name of Jesus!

Romans 10:9,10  "...If you confess with your mouth Jesus as Lord, and believe
in your heart that God raised Jesus from the dead, you shall be saved; for with
the heart man believes, resulting in righteousness, and with the mouth he
confesses, resulting  in salvation."

If you know that God is knocking on your heart's door, ask Him to come into your
heart.

Jesus said, Revelation 3:20a "Behold I stand at the door and knock, if anyone
hears My voice and opens the door, I will come in to him..."

Is Jesus knocking on your heart's door?

Believe in Him.   Ask Him into your heart.

Ask Him to come in to your heart by faith, and ask Him to reveal Himself to
you.  Open the Bible to the Gospel of John and read what God says about Jesus,
about you, and about being born again.

God will help you.  He loves you.  You need to look for a local church where
God's full word is preached.  The Bible says that we are to desire God's word
like a newborn baby desires mother's milk. Aren't you hungry to know the truth?

Water baptism is one of the ways you first show that you have been joined to
Jesus.  This is an action, and actions will not save you.  However, it is an
act of obedience and a symbol of commitment. The symbolism is this.  When you
go down in the water you show that You have been crucified and buried with Him,
And when you come up out of the water you show that you have been raised to walk
with Him in newness of life.

(See Romans chapter 6)

You have been born again.  (See John chapter 3)

Your body has become God's temple.

Your heart is where He lives.

Forgiveness is yours in Jesus.

And you belong to Him.

You were sin's slave.

But now...

You are a child of GOD!

John 1:12 "As many as received Him, to them He gave the right to become children
of God, even to those who believe in His name!"

In Him,
Prophetess Frances Lloyd

Today's Scripture *January 5, 2010*

Matthew 6:3
But when you give to someone in need, don't let your left hand know what your
right hand is doing.

When Jesus says not to tell your left hand what your right hand is doing, He is
teaching that our motives for giving to God and to others must be pure. It is
easy to give with mixed motives, to do something for someone if it will benefit
us in return. But believers should avoid all scheming and give for the pleasure
of giving and as a response to God's love and faithfulness to us.
Why do you give?

God, we want to give to others and to You for the right reasons! To see You
lifted up and glorified.
Help us to give without thought of how it might benefit us.
May our motives be pure and honorable in Your sight. In Jesus' Name, Amen..

God bless!

April

Decree a Royal Decree
Monday, January 4, 2009
From your position of Royalty in Christ, you can decree His Rhema into
manifestation (1Pe 2:9) but ye are a chosen generation, a royal priesthood, an
holy nation, a peculiar people; that ye should shew forth the praises of him who
hath called you out of darkness into his marvellous light.
In the book of Job, the Word states (Job 22:28)  Thou shalt also decree a
thing, and it shall be established unto thee: and the light shall shine upon thy
ways. First of all let’s take a quick look at the definition of the
Word=decree.  Decree means a royal statute:  a commandment, a commission or a
law.   Priesthood is an explanation of your position in Christ and your
authority to the use of His name.   (Act 3:16)  And his name through faith in
his name hath made this man strong, whom ye see and know: yea, the faith which
is by him hath given him this perfect soundness in the presence of you all.

A Royal Decree should be made by a believer who has studied the Word of God and
knows exactly what is promised to us from the Lord.  He should also have
committed this promise to His head knowledge for so long that it has become
heart knowledge.  Faith comes by hearing, and hearing by the Word of God
(Romans 10:17).  When the Word is committed as head knowledge again and again,
it gets down in your heart and becomes heart knowledge.  That is what will
quicken the gift of faith into operation (I Cor 12:9).

We find in the Word of God that His way of manifesting His blessings for us is
by giving Rhema Word to His prophets and then they speak it under the authority
of the Holy Spirit.  It is called decreeing a thing.  You are speaking His law
and establishing it on the earth.  (Amo 3:7)  Surely the Lord GOD will do
nothing, but he revealeth his secret unto his servants the prophets.   You
have been made the voice of His Word.  (Psa 103:20)  Bless the LORD, ye his
angels, that excel in strength, that do his commandments, hearkening unto the
voice of His Word.
According to your Strong’s Bible Dictionary, the Word “angels” here means
His ministers.  The voice of His Word means His Rhema Word activated by
speaking it in faith or decreeing it.

In (Mar 16:20) we read, And they went forth, and preached every where, the Lord
working with them, and confirming the word with signs following. Amen.  This is
just another example of how God does things.  It happens when we speak His
Word.  The word preached could be translated Spoken Word or Decreed Word here.
When His ministers have activated it or decreed it, He will then confirm it.
When we decree something, He is responsible to manifest that Rhema Word when we
meet our part.  Of course we can’t just decree whatever.  It must be His
Rhema.

The Rhema that the Lord is speaking to me for you today is a simple but powerful
Rhema Word.  I remember once when I had been in a wheelchair for months from a
back problem, the Lord gave me Rhema about the situation.  He said
“walk.”  I have been walking almost totally ever since.  That is Rhema.
He has promised in His Word healing for us.  When He spoke His Rhema about
healing, it became an instant manifestation of that healing.  I had been
seeking Him, worshipping Him, and speaking His promises.  That night when the
Rhema came forth, that gift of faith was in operation and it was done.

I am telling you His Rhema for you right now. It is today!  You can have the
life in Him that you always wanted, instead of the life you have always had.
At His Rhema Word, I am making a life altering decree on your life today.  At
the command of the Lord, I am decreeing a supernatural Spirit of Favor on you
today.  The Lord has given you favor in every situation.  I am not decreeing
something that is to come.  It is not something that is in the by and by.  It
is in the now and now. You are already in it.  As of today, God has created an
atmosphere in your heart and in your life, where now the Favor of God lives as a
tangible reality.  You will discover in the next few weeks, the power of God
that has come on your life through this supernatural; life altering Spirit of
favor that God has placed on you today.   Today you have become rooted and are
now grounded in this God given Spirit of Favor.  You will begin to recognize
more and more just
what that means to you.  It is totally supernatural.  It is happening in
Christ even as I write this to you.

I further decree unto you, that this day marks the beginning of a life of the
unprecedented, unparalleled, and unequalled Favor of God.  The supernatural
life altering Favor of God is upon you right now, even as I speak. You are about
to learn how to bask in that Favor.  You will be learning to think in that
Favor. You will be learning to live in that Favor.  You will begin to see
everything from that place of Favor.  You will learn to move out in faith from
that place of Favor.  You will now begin to decree rather than to only pray.
You will begin to decree Favor upon yourself. You will decree Favor in and on
your circumstances.  You will carry that Spirit of favor and decree it on
others when God gives you Rhema Word to do so.

You will find that you are now fighting the enemy from that place of favor.
You have become that overcomer all that He has promised you because you are
overcoming from that place of Favor.  You are about to see the goodness of the
Lord in your life in an unparalleled way.  You will be seeing yourself living
in that LAND OF FAVOR.  Everyone around you will notice that you have been
forever altered by this Spirit of Favor.
You are about to recognize and decree that your entire lifestyle has been
changed by the supernatural, unlimited, unprecedented, all powerful Favor of
God.  This favor will rest on you for the rest of your life.  Your life has
been forever changed. This favor has enveloped you like a coat that has become
attached to you and is now immovable.  That favor covers you.  It keeps you
and it leads you.
The Lord said that He gave many things to you for your inheritance. You will
find many more in Deuteronomy, Chapter 28.  He has given you lands that you had
not owned.  He has given you wells that you did not dig.  He has given you
prosperity in every situation and circumstance. Everything that you lay your
hands upon, will prosper as you live in that Spirit of Favor.
You must take this decree and accept it.  Because you accept it, this life
altering and life changing Spirit of Favor, you will act on my Word, says the
Lord.  The enemy would try to tell you to wait and see.  You must receive this
word Thus saith the Lord.
The Lord reminded me summer before last while I was in Washington for the tent
revival.  We were staying on a very steep mountain with a very narrow and
winding drive way which went straight up one mile from the main road to the home
where we were staying.  One day when we were to go down the mountain for a tent
meeting in the evening, there was a very bad windstorm that hit.  It was
described as the worst windstorm in over one hundred years.  It toppled over
trees that were several stories high. There was a lot of damage done.  Rooftops
were blown off and buildings knocked down.  The fallen trees blocked that
narrow drive way which was our only way out and down the mountain.  In the home
where we were staying, we were told that normally if you were blocked in by a
fallen tree, it was often days or even weeks before emergency personnel got
around to everyone.  As soon as she said three weeks, the Holy Ghost came up in
me.  I decreed “not with
me on this mountain it won’t take three weeks.  I have the favor of
God.”  Within two hours, the teen age children of a neighbor who happened to
have a chain saw right there, cut the tree up and moved all the logs clearing
the road.  We were able to get out in two hours.  That was the supernatural
favor of God.  It was His supernatural “Spirit of Favor.”  I have had the
Lord to cause someone to save things just for me when they had the opportunity
to sell to someone else first.  It was the favor of God.  Right before the
winds hit, the Lord told one of the men to go and lower the tent to the
ground.  There was no damage to the tent as a result.  That is that life of
favor.  I have seen parking places open up right in front for me.  When in one
city with a meeting, the Lord had instructed me to go by another ministry before
I left town and just worship with them.  The Spirit of Favor was there.  The
pastor whom I had never seen
before, looked at me and spoke by the Spirit of God, you are a seer.  There
was that Spirit of Favor.  The door was then opened for me to prophesy to
several people including the pastor.  It caused them to know that it is God and
that He was speaking to them.  Now this smaller church meets in a large well
known auditorium because they have that spirit of Favor from the Holy
Spirit.   We have been back to minister there.  Our whole lives are now lived
from the point of view that the Supernatural Spirit of Favor has changed
everything for the good in us and for us.
I decree for you…
I decree the supernatural favor of God on each of you right now that are reading
this Word.  Father I thank you for your life altering Spirit of Favor.  I
thank you that your children now walk in abundance.  They have the favor of
God.  I decree the best jobs for those who need and want a job.  I decree the
best homes to those who need and desire a home.  I decree that you have
supplied homes that are paid in full for every one of your children reading this
decree who desire a home.  I decree that you provide new vehicles for everyone
who needs or desires a vehicle.  I decree that all bills are paid in full for
all that read and accept this decree.  I decree that every need and desire is
supplied in abundance to each of your children.  I decree that you have given
them abundance of finances so that they can give the way that they have always
desired to give.  I decree that they use this money wisely and in obedience to
you.  I decree that
they can now lend and not borrow.
I decree that your believers are strong in you and in the power of your might.
I decree that they hunger and thirst after you.  I decree that everyone who
reads this decree from this point on cherishes your Word.  They love to read
it, meditate on it and stand on it.  I decree that everyone that reads this
decree understands the power and the life in the Word of God.  I decree that
the Word will not return void but will accomplish what it was sent to
accomplish.  I decree peace, love and harmony in every home of every believer
who reads this decree.  I decree that everyone who reads this decree walks in
love and not in confusion.  I decree favor with spouses, friends, and
acquaintances and with any person from whomever they need favor.  I decree that
budgets are met.  I decree that expense money is provided.  I decree that
moves are totally paid for.  I decree that you supply new wardrobes for those
who need it.  I decree that you supply
every person that we need to help to accomplish this ministry.  I decree that
you have supplied a new office manager for this ministry.  I decree that you
continue to provide ample salary for them.  I decree that you continue to add
to the intercessors that are called by you to intercede for this ministry.  I
decree the wisdom of the Lord to know His leading and His timing in everything
He tells us to do.  I decree an open heart and open ears to hear and the wisdom
to receive everything God has for everyone who reads this decree.  Lord I thank
you that your supernatural Spirit of Favor is already at work in us today.  I
thank you for filling us with your Rhema Word and Rhema Wisdom so that we know
when to further decree your will into our lives and into the lives of others.
In Jesus Name, Amen.
In Him,

God Doesn't Throw Dice

We never know what our relationship with the person next to us is at any given
moment. We can be sitting next to someone on the bus and they may be someone we
hurt in a past life and owe an apology to, or they can be a messenger sent to
change our lives. We can never be sure what the reason is, but we can be sure
there is a reason.

Today, be open to everyone you meet. Keep your smile warmed up. And get the word
“random” out of your head. As Einstein said, God doesn’t throw dice.

Today's Encouragement - Never let loyalty and kindness leave you! Tie them
around your neck as a reminder. Write them deep within your heart. Proverbs 3

see whole chapter - it is marvelous!!

Note: Proverbs has 31 chapters, which means one chapter a day for a month to
learn wisdom (what proverbs is about).

Proverbs 3 ---

1 My child,[a] never forget the things I have taught you.
Store my commands in your heart.
2 If you do this, you will live many years,
and your life will be satisfying.
3 Never let loyalty and kindness leave you!
Tie them around your neck as a reminder.
Write them deep within your heart.
4 Then you will find favor with both God and people,
and you will earn a good reputation. 5 Trust in the Lord with all
your heart;
do not depend on your own understanding.
6 Seek his will in all you do,
and he will show you which path to take. 7 Don’t be impressed
with your own wisdom.
Instead, fear the Lord and turn away from evil.
8 Then you will have healing for your body
and strength for your bones. 9 Honor the Lord with your wealth
and with the best part of everything you produce.
10 Then he will fill your barns with grain,
and your vats will overflow with good wine. 11 My child, don’t
reject the Lord’s discipline,
and don’t be upset when he corrects you.
12 For the Lord corrects those he loves,
just as a father corrects a child in whom he delights.[b] 13 Joyful
is the person who finds wisdom,
      the one who gains understanding.
14 For wisdom is more profitable than silver,
and her wages are better than gold.
 15 Wisdom is more precious than rubies;
nothing you desire can compare with her.
16 She offers you long life in her right hand,
and riches and honor in her left.
 17 She will guide you down delightful paths;
      all her ways are satisfying.
 18 Wisdom is a tree of life to those who embrace her;
happy are those who hold her tightly. 19 By wisdom the Lord founded
the earth;
by understanding he created the heavens.
20 By his knowledge the deep fountains of the earth burst forth,
and the dew settles beneath the night sky. 21 My child, don’t
lose sight of common sense and discernment.
      Hang on to them,
22 for they will refresh your soul.
They are like jewels on a necklace.
23 They keep you safe on your way,
and your feet will not stumble.
 24 You can go to bed without fear;
you will lie down and sleep soundly.
25 You need not be afraid of sudden disaster
or the destruction that comes upon the wicked,
26 for the Lord is your security.
He will keep your foot from being caught in a trap. 27 Do not
withhold good from those who deserve it
when it’s in your power to help them.
28 If you can help your neighbor now, don’t say,
“Come back tomorrow, and then I’ll help you.” 29 Don’t plot
harm against your neighbor,
for those who live nearby trust you.
 30 Don’t pick a fight without reason,
when no one has done you harm. 31 Don’t envy violent people
      or copy their ways.
32 Such wicked people are detestable to the Lord,
but he offers his friendship to the godly. 33 The Lord curses the
house of the wicked,
but he blesses the home of the upright. 34 The Lord mocks the
mockers
but is gracious to the humble.[c] 35 The wise inherit honor,
      but fools are put to shame!Footnotes:Proverbs 3:1  Hebrew My son;
also in 3:11, 21.Proverbs 3:12 Greek version reads And he punishes those he
accepts as his children. Compare Heb 12:6.Proverbs 3:34 Greek version reads The
Lord opposes the proud / but favors the humble. Compare Jas 4:6; 1 Pet 5:5.

--The head may seek God, but it is the heart
that finds Him. Jeremiah 29:13 --"This is the way to have eternal life—to know
you, the only true God,
and Jesus Christ, the one you sent to earth." John 17:3

{Acts1711} Self Honesty

How many times have we argued with ourselves that what we are doing, thinking,
feeling, is 'okay' because of ----- (fill in the blank with any justification or
rationalization).

But in reality we are only kidding ourselves.

When it comes to sin, there is no loophole, no valid excuse in front of a holy
God that will validate ourselves.

Why then is God so hard on sin? Because it has separated us from Him, and the
relationship with us is what He wants, wholeheartedly. It is why He created us.

As you read the Scriptures you can see how sin interferes with our relationships
- with God and each other, and even ourselves. We lie to ourselves to justify
our behaviors, our thinking, even our feelings (anger, fear, doubt, anxiety,
worry, hatred, resentment, bitterness, envy, conceit, pride....)

Here's a very good example of lying to onself and what the reality of that
dysfunction, ie sin, really is. See if you can recognize yourself in Saul (we
all should, since we all sin, Romans 3:23). The scenario involves Saul and
Samuel...it is found in 1 Samuel 15 ---

' And Samuel told him, “Although you may think little of yourself, are you not
the leader of the tribes of Israel? The Lord has anointed you king of Israel.
And the Lord sent you on a mission and told you, ‘Go and completely destroy
the sinners, the Amalekites, until they are all dead.’ Why haven’t you
obeyed the Lord? Why did you rush for the plunder and do what was evil in the
Lord’s sight?”“But I did obey the Lord,” Saul insisted. “I carried out
the mission he gave me. I brought back King Agag, but I destroyed everyone else.
Then my troops brought in the best of the sheep, goats, cattle, and plunder to
sacrifice to the Lord your God in Gilgal.”
But Samuel replied, “What is more pleasing to the Lord: your burnt offerings
and sacrifices or your obedience to his voice? Listen! Obedience is better than
sacrifice, and submission is better than offering the fat of rams. Rebellion is
as sinful as witchcraft, and stubbornness as bad as worshiping idols.
So because you have rejected the command of the Lord, he has rejected you as
king.”Then Saul admitted to Samuel, “Yes, I have sinned. I have disobeyed
your instructions and the Lord’s command, for I was afraid of the people and
did what they demanded. But now, please forgive my sin and come back with me so
that I may worship the Lord.”

So what can we learn of ourselves from Saul?
He claimed to have done what God said, he 'obeyed' God. But in his guilty
conscience, his defensiveness is revealed. He only obeyed part of what God had
said, and God says that  unless we obey Him in everything, we fail in
everything. That's what Paul is saying in Romans 3:23, and there's no loophole
--- we all have sinned. Period. No argument.
How many of us pride ourselves (ie lie) on one aspect of our Christian faith (we
pray regularly, read our Bibles, go to church/worship services, tithe
faithfully, etc.) but in another area of our lives we outright REFUSE to change,
admit our wrongdoing/sin, change our attitudes and behaviors?
This is rebellion against God, called sin (the stuff that got satan kicked out
of heaven with one third of the angels who also rebelled).
We cannot call ourselves Christians if we are not trying, making every attempt
to honor God and do what He says to do. We will fail, that's a given, but it's
the attempts to obey God and His commands that are the key. God knows we have
struggles, Jesus said we would, so did James.

It's our hearts that God is looking at --- what are our motivations for our
thinking, attitudes, behaviors, etc.? God wants us to try to obey Him, and
though we'll fail Him, in trying it shows that our hearts truly want to honor
Him.

Note: How many of you have really really read Jesus' commands in Matthew
28:18-20?He says to 'disciple new believers', meaning teach them to obey every
command that I (Jesus) have given you.
Have we been taught that? Probably not, since so many are taught more of Paul
than of Jesus.

So the reality is this --- if you are a Christian, or claim to be,  you'll be
wholeheartedly an avid Jesus fan, seeking to learn of/from Him and do what He
says to do, and likewise you'll be an avid God fan, seeking to do what He says.
Do you have footholds of anger? Jesus said forgive, endlessly.
Are you a bitter, resentful, hateful, envious kind of person (deep down or on
the surface)? Jesus said love, forgive, understand, be content.

Are you generous? Jesus said share.
Are you kind, loving? Jesus said love will prove you are a Christian.
Are you a thinking follower of a system of beliefs about Christianity? Jesus
said Christianity is a heart relationship with God through belief on Him (Jesus)
as Savior.
Are you known for being all about others or all about yourself? Jesus said
following Him meant caring for others as more important than yourself, in
action.

What is the area in your life where you have refused to obey Jesus' or God's
commands? Is rebellion rooted deep in your heart? Do you want to be free from
the heavy weight that rebellion brings and lays in your heart, mind, body, and
soul?
Admit that you are a sinner and ask God to forgive you for that area that you've
not wanted to admit was sin.
Then tell another person whom you trust about your admission to God --- this
brings healing God says.
Then encourage others to admit as sin those areas in life that are not honoring
God, where little or no attempts are made to honor God.
And watch your heart change!

Today's Encouragement - How often...

How often have you been angry and/or fearful (worried, anxious) when other
people were not meeting the expectations you have of them? Are those
expectations theirs, or merely yours?

How often have we not met God's expectations for us?

They are --

"For I know the plans I have for you,” says the Lord. “They are plans for
good and not for disaster, to give you a future and a hope. In those days when
you pray, I will listen. If you look for me wholeheartedly, you will find me."
Jeremiah 29:11-13

How does God respond to us when we have not met His expectations (hopes, dreams)
for us?

He --

"Then Jesus wept." John 11:35

Truly He weeps over us.

When we wholeheartedly seek Him, then --

"For the Lord your God
is living among you.He is a mighty savior. He will
take delight in you with gladness. With his love, he will calm all your
fears. He will rejoice over you with joyful songs.” Zephaniah 3:17

He also graciously gives us ---

  "Let all that I am praise the Lord;
with my whole heart, I will praise His holy name.
Let all that I am praise the Lord;
may I never forget the good things He does for me.
He forgives all my sins
      and heals all my diseases.
He redeems me from death
and crowns me with love and tender mercies.
He fills my life with good things.
My youth is renewed like the eagle’s! "  Psalm 103:1-5

LORD God, please forgive me for my fears and anger; help me to love others as
you love me. Help me to learn to accept Your encouragement then pass that on to
others. Help me to learn how to be accepted in Your love then to accept others
in Your love. In Jesus Name, Amen.

--The head may seek God, but it is the heart
that finds Him. Jeremiah 29:13 --
Ps 42:2 My soul thirsts for God, for the living God. When can I go and meet
with God?
Ps 63:1 OGod, you are my God, earnestly I seek you; my soul thirsts for you,
mybody longs for you, in a dry and weary land where there is no water.
Ps 143:6 I spread out my hands to you; my soul thirsts for you like a parched
land.

2 Corinthians 9:8
And God will generously provide all you need. Then you will always have
everything you need and plenty left over to share with others.

We have just entered 2010. This year there are going to be things we need and
things that we want. It may not be easy but God will provide for all of our
needs. In this Scripture it says that God will provide all of our needs
GENEROUSLY. Meaning that not only will He just provide them but He will do
so abundantly so that we may share them with others as well.

Dear Lord,
Thank You for the year 2010. Thank You for providing for us over and over.
Thank You that You are here for us and that You listen to every word we say
and everything that we think. I pray that we will show thankfulness for all the
things You have given us.
In Jesus' Name We Pray
Amen

Happy New Year!

Today's "Marriage' Scripture by Jason Hunt *January 2, 2010*

Romans 12:2
Don't copy the behavior and customs of this world, but let God transform you
into a new person by changing the way you think. Then you will learn to know
God’s will for you, which is good and pleasing and perfect.

Happy New Year!! It's that time again to shed the old and put on the new. Every
year most people set out to change or improve something about themselves. Most
folks want to get into shape or make more money. By January 20th they are back
into the same old habits, nothing changes and the cycle continues. As per Paul's
letter to the church in Rome we must allow God to change the way we think,
otherwise the mind eventually gives in to the body and we are back at square
one. To allow the Lord to change the way we think we must feed it the right
information, learning to know God's will. It takes work and effort. Praying each
day for guidance and direction; reading our Bible's and seeking what is good,
pleasing and perfect to Him; Cutting out the impurities and distraction of sin;
Allowing the Holy Spirit to discipline and shape us.
We will have much more success in His strength than our own.

Lord we praise and thank You for another year in Your grace. Please strengthen
us through Your written Word and prayer. May our minds be renewed with what is
good and pleasing and perfect.
In Jesus' Name.
Amen.

Daily Golden Footprints
Producing Seeds
Friday, January 01, 2010

In the beginning God set the spiritual law that when a seed is watered and is in
good soil, it must come up.  If we obey the law that God created, it must do
what God said and come up. (Genesis 8:22)  While the earth remaineth, seedtime
and harvest, and cold and heat, and summer and winter, and day and night shall
not cease.

The Lord has made covenant with you.  (Isaiah 55:3)  Incline your ear, and
come unto me: hear, and your soul shall live; and I will make an everlasting
covenant with you, even the sure mercies of David.

(Isaiah 55:6)  Seek ye the LORD while he may be found, call ye upon him while
he is near: (Isaiah 55:7)  Let the wicked forsake his way, and the unrighteous
man his thoughts: and let him return unto the LORD, and he will have mercy upon
him; and to our God, for he will abundantly pardon. (Isaiah 55:8)  For my
thoughts are not your thoughts, neither are your ways my ways, saith the LORD.
Some religious people stop there and get a defeatist attitude, saying we can
never think like God.  Not so! This scripture is talking about the wicked and
unrighteous man, not you! (Isaiah 55:9)  For as the heavens are higher than the
earth, so are my ways higher than your ways, and my thoughts than your thoughts.
(Again, He is talking about the unrighteous or wicked man.) (Isaiah 55:10)  For
as the rain cometh down, and the snow from heaven, and returneth not thither,
but watereth the earth, and maketh it bring forth and bud, that it may give seed
to the sower,
and bread to the eater: (Here is your promise.  If you have the good seed of
the Word in you, then the Holy Spirit will water it and produce the will of God
in your life.)

God’s Word is the seed in which you have need.  Read that scripture one more
time.  (Isaiah 55:10)  For as the rain cometh down, and the snow from heaven,
and returneth not thither, but watereth the earth, and maketh it bring forth and
bud, that it may give seed to the sower, and bread to the eater. (Isaiah 55:11)
So shall my word be that goeth forth out of my mouth: it shall not return unto
me void, but it shall accomplish that which I please, and it shall prosper in
the thing whereto I sent it.

Your right heart is the soil that will produce the Word of God into your life.
Remember it is the spoken Word that activates the Word of God in our lives.
When you feed on the Logos Word, He will turn it into the Rhema Word.  Then
speak the Rhema out loud.  It is then that it will produce for you.

(Psalms 103:20)  Bless the LORD, ye his angels, that excel in strength, that do
his commandments, hearkening unto the voice of his word.  If there is any
scripture should give you the clue to how powerful the spoken Rhema Word of God
is, it is verse 20.

A Word spoken in due season, is when God tells you by His Rhema Word one of His
promises in the written Word of God and it is on God’s timetable.  When it is
already promised in the Word of God, that is sometimes all that is meant by due
season!  That is when the Rhema Word can produce the will of God in your
life.  I believe that we should claim the Logos Word until it becomes the Rhema
Word.  I believe that when faith which has come into your heart changes from
the Logos Word, the gift of faith has happened and it then has become Rhema
(alive, quickened, powerful).  Rhema is then a done deal.

Speaking the Logos Word even if your faith isn’t all there yet, is the way you
get your faith to be there.  (Read Romans 10:17)  (Proverbs 15:23)  A man
hath joy by the answer of his mouth: and a word spoken in due season, how good
is it!

(Proverbs 25:11)  A word fitly spoken is like apples of gold in pictures of
silver.
I love that promise!  I love the Word shall.  It is not it may or might, but
it positively shall be done.  God has spoken it.  God is not a liar.

For many things the timing of the Lord has already happened.  (Ezekiel 12:28)
Therefore say unto them, Thus saith the Lord GOD; There shall none of my words
be prolonged any more, but the Word which I have spoken shall be done, saith the
Lord GOD.

In Mark we can read the parable of the seed and the sower…  (Mar 4:3)
Hearken; Behold, there went out a sower to sow: (Mar 4:4)  And it came to pass,
as he sowed, some fell by the way side, and the fowls of the air came and
devoured it up.  (Mar 4:5)  And some fell on stony ground, where it had not
much earth; and immediately it sprang up, because it had no depth of earth: (Mar
4:6)  But when the sun was up, it was scorched; and because it had no root, it
withered away.  (Mar 4:7)  And some fell among thorns, and the thorns grew up,
and choked it, and it yielded no fruit. (Mar 4:8)  And other fell on good
ground, and did yield fruit that sprang up and increased; and brought forth,
some thirty, and some sixty, and some an hundred.

Here we have the explanation of this parable… (Mar 4:14)  The sower soweth
the word.  (Mar 4:15)  And these are they by the way side, where the word is
sown; but when they have heard, Satan cometh immediately, and taketh away the
word that was sown in their hearts.  (Mar 4:16)  And these are they likewise
which are sown on stony ground; who, when they have heard the word, immediately
receive it with gladness;  (Mar 4:17)  And have no root in themselves, and so
endure but for a time: afterward, when affliction or persecution ariseth for the
word's sake, immediately they are offended.  (Mar 4:18)  And these are they
which are sown among thorns; such as hear the word,  (Mar 4:19)  And the cares
of this world, and the deceitfulness of riches, and the lusts of other things
entering in, choke the word, and it becometh unfruitful.  (Mar 4:20)  And
these are they which are sown on good ground; such as hear the word, and receive
it, and bring forth
fruit, some thirtyfold, some sixty, and some an hundred.

Take a look at verse 24, where it is talking about many things.  It is talking
about the effort you put into every thing.  It is also talking about your best
finances.  Some give just a tiny bit and expect God to move for them.  It is
according to how you give.  Is it your best?  Mar 4:24 And he said unto them,
Take heed what ye hear: with what measure ye mete, it shall be measured to you:
and unto you that hear shall more be given.

It is clear in the explanation of this parable that you do have the
responsibility to prepare your ground (your heart) to receive the Word and
achieve the promises in your life.  You have to be in Christ.  You have to be
prayed up.  You have to be listening for God.  You have to be obedient to
God.  You have to have an attitude of praise.  You have to be free of strife
and confusion which allows every other evil work.  You have to make a conscious
effort to seek and you will find, when you seek with all your heart.  You do
have responsibility in caring for the garden of your heart.  When you do, the
water of the Holy Spirit will be there and will produce the will of God in your
life as you declare it.

Are you giving your seeds (the Word) life to produce in?  Are you diligently
keeping your heart? (Proverbs 4:23)  Keep thy heart with all diligence; for out
of it are the issues of life.

When your faith level rises, are you decreeing the will of God a done deal in
your life?  (Job 22:28)  Thou shalt also decree a thing, and it shall be
established unto thee: and the light shall shine upon thy ways.

When someone produces apples, they do everything necessary to bring in a good
crop of apples.  They make sure that the soil is prepared properly.  They are
sure that the fertilizer is right.  They are sure that the crop is protected as
it is growing.  They are sure to harvest it just at the right moment.  When we
are producing seeds into crops into our lives, we have to be cautious at every
point to protect it and keep it.  We must know exactly when to harvest the
crop.  We must keep our hearts right from the beginning.  We must take healthy
seeds and sow them at the right season.  We must then water it at the right
times.  We must fertilize it at the right times.  We must harvest it at the
right times.  It is the same thing in the spirit of God.  We must take care of
all those things when we are producing seed after its kind.  In the natural,
when you plant seeds, you don’t leave them to all of the elements.  You
protect them.  You
water them.  You fertilize them and you harvest in the right season.

Make sure that your seeds are good seeds.  Take care of them as you would keep
your heart.  Then see your bumper crop appear.  This is your new beginning.
He has given you power and authority to produce your seeds according to His
Word.    That us how to get your New Beginning.

Prophecies for 2010
 December 31, 2009
Prophecies for 2010 and after…
·         Economic famine will, in the natural, wax even worse than
last year, but recovery has already begun for the church.  It will be as
different for them in this famine as those under the blood posts in Egypt and
those of the first born in Egypt. (See the story of Moses)
·          Next 9/11 size terrorism (at least three cities with
explosions-on the West and east coasts, and possibly also in Texas or Oklahoma
(Because they are called the Bible Belt; “the infidel”).  Avoid the large
cities when possible. (In Texas, avoid Dallas, Houston, San Antonio. They are
targets.)  Churches will become targets as well as other primary structures.
·         Two more attacks on planes will be defoiled by springtime.
·         Arabs will be found fighting with each other on US soil.
·         China, Japan, and Russia will be warring against us this year
possibly even openly.
·         Obama may be assassinated and never finish his term in
office.
·         Something big (terrorist attack) is happening with France
soon.
·         World War 3 could start this year.
·         There will be three almost simultaneous earthquakes; along
the Mississippi River corridor is one.  It is due quickly. More caverns will
appear.
·         This is to be a year of new winds.  (Wind is a type of the
Holy Spirit presence.)
·         His glory is coming in the winds of His moves this year.
·         This is a year to rise up and follow His cloud of
direction.
·         The Lord is coming in all of His glory to seal the
manifestation of the Rhema Words that He has spoken.  He honors His Word.
·         The Lord is bringing back joy to His people.
·         At the same time, do not fear when you hear of judgment that
has come to His house. Just keep your own heart right.
·         Expect a new visitation of the presence of God.
·         He is speeding up the works that He is doing within His
people.
·         There are new doors opening to you.
·         There is new empowerment open to you.
·         He is providing finances for where He is leading.
·         There are new assignments within the doors that have been
opened.
·         He is sending an anointing to manage your time wisely so that
you are able to spend time in His presence.  Do not override this leading of
His Spirit.
·         He is requiring of His men and His women that they come into
His presence and worship before Him in order to keep that hearing ear.
·         He is requiring that you be found “in Him, and Him in
you.”

Today's Scripture *December 31, 2009* New Years Eve *

Colossians 2:4
I am telling you this so no one will deceive you with well-crafted arguments.

Christian faith provides a growth track into knowledge of the truth, but along
the way, how do we guard against being deceived by lies that are masquerading as
'well-crafted arguments"?
If your growth track is too narrow, you become thickheaded and insular -- no
one can teach you a thing. Before long, you cant teach anyone around you, for no
one is listening. You are isolated. Love disappears from your life.
If your track is too wide and every idea is an exciting new possibility,
you'll waste a lot of time just keeping on track and risk some dangerous
detours.
The key is centering on Christ and grounding yourself in His Word:
-Learn daily about the Savior of the world.
-Study the Bible.
-Develop your theological knowledge.
-Stay humble and curious about the amazing complexity of the world God has made.
-Ask lots of questions about assumptions behind ideas new to you.
-Press toward wisdom.
-Pray for understanding.
God has given us minds for learning--never quit using yours!

Father, we thank You for this year that has just past!
And Lord, we pray for the coming new year ahead.
May we each grow more in Your Word, in Your wisdom, and Your understanding.
May we ask questions! May we remain humble and press toward greater
understanding and knowledge of who You are and who we are in You.
May we never quit using the minds You have blessed us with for learning.
We thank You for Your Word and for the year that You have given us. May we use
2010 as a year of great growth in You.
In Jesus' Name, Amen

Have a safe and blessed New Years Eve!
It's been a blessing coming into your lives in 2009.
May 2010 bring 365 more visits each day and deeper understanding of the
extraordinary Word of God.

In His Service,
April

My Prayer For You

May you get a clean bill of health
from your dentist, your ophthalmologist,
your psychiatrist,
your cardiologist, your urologist,
your proctologist, your gynecologist,
your podiatrist,
your plumber, and the IRS.

May your hair, your teeth, your face-lift,
your love handles, and your stocks never fall,
and may your blood pressure,
your triglycerides,
your cholesterol, your white blood count,
your weight,
and your property assessments never increase.

May you be sensitive to the needs of others
and may you create within yourself
a balance of your own needs.

May you laugh at yourself and realize if you were supposed
to touch your toes while exercising,
the Lord would have placed them further up,
and may you realize the reason so many people
take up jogging is to hear heavy breathing again.

May what you see in the mirror delight you
and what others see in you delight them.

May someone love you enough to accept
and forgive your faults and be blind to your blemishes,
and tell the whole world about your virtues.

May you live in a world at peace,
with an awareness of the beauty of every sunset,
every flower, every child's smile,
and every wonderful astonishing beat of your own heart.

If by laughter, I can cause you to wipe one tear
from your cheek, that is my reward.

Above all, may you continue to smile,
may your life be filled with laughter,
and may you never forget the words
found in the Book of Proverbs,

"A gloomy spirit rots the bones;
but a merry heart is like good medicine."

Daily Golden Footprints
Easy Way Out
December, 30, 2009
You have a place in the center of God’s will.   You have been given promises
from the Lord.  Perhaps one of the first places to look at your promises as I
have so often taught you is found in Deuteronomy 28:1-14.  Read it and be aware
of every promise that He has given you.   Keep it fresh in your thinking.

Yes, the promises were originally given to Abraham.  However it was brought
over to us in these scriptures.  (Gal 3:13)  Christ hath redeemed us from the
curse of the law, being made a curse for us: for it is written, Cursed is every
one that hangeth on a tree:  (Gal 3:14)  That the blessing of Abraham might
come on the Gentiles through Jesus Christ; that we might receive the promise of
the Spirit through faith.   When we choose to accept Christ as our Lord and
savior, we became eligible for all of the Abrahamic Promises.

Why am I talking about the promises?  It is because it is the anointing that
manifests these promises into our lives.  The anointing happens when we live a
life of applying our faith God’s way to every situation.

In a vision that the Lord gave me many years ago, He showed me my life using
golden footprints (This was how God named our ministry) to show me the road to
take.  In the vision, I came to a fork in the road.  Both paths ended up in
the same place.  I asked the Lord what was the difference if we are going to
end up at the same place.  The Lord replied to me in answer, “it is the
anointing. You must apply my Word in Faith to every situation.  Then you will
get where you are supposed to be except with all of the anointing that was meant
for you.

Sometimes you are tempted to take the natural way.  It seems easier than the
Faith Way that God has ordained for you to obtain His promises.  That is just
another lie from the enemy. It is NOT easier.  You will just have to take the
test again and again until you get it right.  Quit starting again and again.
It is so futile.  God wants you to have all He has prepared for you.  Faith is
the only way to get it.  Get serious about your faith walk.

There are many of you that have gone through some of the toughest times that you
have ever known in recent months.  You have almost been ready to lay your faith
down.  That is a surefire postponement or a surefire way to lose out all
together.  Let’s not give satan the satisfaction.  OK?

Read these scriptures about Isaac.  Isaac was the promised child that through
Him all the earth was to be blessed.  And yet when He was blessed, people
strove with him.
We must recognize  first that even though Isaac already had the promise of God
for all the Abrahamic blessings, He was required to give just as we are required
to come into agreement with our promises and obey God.  Isaac was blessed in
the same year.  (Gen 26:12)  Then Isaac sowed in that land, and received in
the same year an hundredfold: and the LORD blessed him.  (Gen 26:13)  And the
man waxed great, and went forward, and grew until he became very great:  After
Isaac gave,  and lived the life of giving in obedience, he grew into a very
wealthy man as God promised him. (Gen 26:14)  For he had possession of flocks,
and possession of herds, and great store of servants: and the Philistines envied
him.  All of the wells formerly dug by Abraham, Isaac began to dig again.
(Gen 26:15)  For all the wells which his father's servants had digged in the
days of Abraham his father, the Philistines had stopped them, and filled them
with earth.  People
became jealous of the wealth that Isaac possessed.  They started strife.
Instead of partaking of that strife, Isaac left that place and dug another
well.  After several wells, finally he was able to live in peace.   (Gen
26:16)  And Abimelech said unto Isaac, Go from us; for thou art much mightier
than we.  (Gen 26:17)  And Isaac departed thence, and pitched his tent in the
valley of Gerar, and dwelt there.  (Gen 26:18)  And Isaac digged again the
wells of water, which they had digged in the days of Abraham his father; for the
Philistines had stopped them after the death of Abraham: and he called their
names after the names by which his father had called them.  (Gen 26:19)  And
Isaac's servants digged in the valley, and found there a well of springing
water.   (Gen 26:20)  And the herdmen of Gerar did strive with Isaac's
herdmen, saying, The water is ours: and he called the name of the well Esek;
because they strove with him.  (Gen
26:21)  And they digged another well, and strove for that also: and he called
the name of it Sitnah. (Gen 26:22)  And he removed from thence, and digged
another well; and for that they strove not: and he called the name of it
Rehoboth; and he said, For now the LORD hath made room for us, and we shall be
fruitful in the land.

What is God speaking to you today through these scriptures?
·         You must live a life of obedience.  (1Sa 15:22)  ...
Behold, to obey is better than sacrifice...
·         You must live the life of a giver. (Luk 6:38)  Give, and it
shall be given unto you; good measure, pressed down, and shaken together, and
running over, shall men give into your bosom. For with the same measure that ye
mete withal it shall be measured to you again.
·         You must live the life of faith.  (Heb 11:6)  But without
faith it is impossible to please him: for he that cometh to God must believe
that he is, and that he is a rewarder of them that diligently seek him.
·         You must avoid strife.   (1Co 14:33)  For God is not the
author of confusion, but of peace, as in all churches of the saints.  (Pro
16:28)  A froward man soweth strife: and a whisperer separateth chief friends.
Isaac was a sower of seeds.
·         The Lord is speaking to some of you begin the New Year by
giving a $100 vow again and to some a $50 vow and to some a $500 vow.  Isaac
had the promise but he was still required to obey God with his giving.

This almost seems as though it does not fit together.  And yet, it does fit
together.  The Lord is preparing to give some breakthrough to His children.
You have waited so long.  The time is at hand.  This is the most important
stand of faith you will ever make.  Stand in the freedom that He has already
given you.  Stand on His promises.  Apply your faith.  Keep your confessions
right before God.  Don’t look to the right or to the left, but look right on
before the Lord.   There is no longer time to play around.  It is time to be
ready to roll.  God is about to call you up into His regular army.

It is here I think of the virgins who did not have any oil for their lamps.
Make sure you keep your lamp trimmed and full.  He is coming quickly.  But
even sooner, this move of God is right at hand.  If you have ever made a New
Year’s Resolution, make it now.  Change is happening.  You can roll with it
or be run over.

In Him,

Today's Scripture *December 30, 2009*

Ephesians 1: 4
Even before he made the world, God loved us and chose us in Christ to be holy
and without fault in his eyes.

Paul says that God "chose us" to emphasize that salvation depends totally on
God. We are not saved because we deserve it but because God is gracious and
freely gives salvation. We did not influence God's decision to save us; He saved
us according to His plan. Thus, there is no way to take credit for our salvation
or to allow room for pride. The mystery of salvation originated in the timeless
mind of God long before we existed. It is hard to understand how God could
accept us. But because of Christ, we are holy and blameless in His sight. God
chose us, and when we belong to Him through faith in Jesus Christ, God looks at
us as if we have never sinned. All we can do is express our thanks for His
wonderful gift and for His eternal love.

Thank You God for Your love!
Thank You for Your forgiveness and Your grace!
May we live lives as obedient children under Your eternal care!
We worship You! In Jesus' Name, Amen..

Have a blessed day in Him!
April

The Two Brothers

A rich man had two sons. One was handsome, strong and wise. The other was
homely, weak and—let’s be generous—not as intelligent. Before he passed
away, the rich man sold his properties and furnishings. With the money, he
bought precious jewels and gold coins. He sewed extra pockets onto a pair of
overalls, and filled them with the jewels and coins. Then he sewed up the
pockets and died, without saying which of his sons will receive the overalls.

The brothers went to court. The strong, wise, handsome brother claimed that
because of his superior qualities, and because he was the firstborn and always
closer to his father than his brother had been, certainly the overalls were
meant for him. It was a persuasive argument. The judges turned to the younger
brother and asked for his arguments.

“Esteemed judges, all that my brother claims is correct. Just one thing,
though. Let’s see whom the overalls fit. If they fit him, they’re his. If
they fit me, they’re mine.” They fit him, not the older brother.

A country bumpkin went to the city. He walked passed a men’s clothing store
and saw a beautiful suit in the window. He went inside and told the salesman
that he wanted to buy the suit in the window. The salesman took the bumpkin’s
measurements and brought him the suit in his size. He gave it to the bumpkin and
told him to try it on. In the meantime, the salesman went to another customer.

The bumpkin went into the dressing room and put on the suit. It was very
uncomfortable. The jacket and pants were too tight—he couldn’t close
them—and the sleeves and legs were too short. He looked ridiculous.

He came out of the dressing room and the salesman came over to help him. “This
doesn’t fit me at all! Look at the sleeves, the legs—everything. It
doesn’t fit me at all.”

The salesman knew he had brought out the right size. He looked closely at the
bumpkin and realized the problem. “Sir, if you want the new suit to fit, you
must take off the old one first!”

This, explained the Magid, is why we often feel that what we learn in the Torah
“doesn’t fit.” We foolishly forget (ignore?) the fact that in order to try
on something new we have to shed the old. To grow in our Torah awareness and
observance, we have to let go of our ideas and behavior that prevent them from
fitting.

Daily Golden Footprints
A New Hope
December, 29, 2009
Occasionally the Lord has me dosome correction.  That is what happened
yesterday.  Certainly not everyone was guilty of angry fits with God, but there
were several who were guilty.  We always have to search our own hearts to see
if there be any wicked way inside us.

Today the Lord has a different and prophetic message for you. When I read this
Word from the Lord, it was so alike the Word the Lord has been speaking to me.
I felt that I was to send out this Word from the Lord.   I have never heard of
this lady before today, but I know this is a true prophecy.
The Lord says, "Get ready for a new wind, and in this wind will come My glory in
a new manifestation. Get ready to hear the wheels that will begin to turn in the
spirit realm. For as these wheels turn in the spirit realm, they will carry My
people higher into the Spirit than they dreamt was ever available. For I am
going to start to speak Spirit-to-spirit because My people have made so many
choices from the soul's realm and they have looked to the left or to the right
for confirmation. But as My people have chosen to look up, My Spirit will
descend upon them and join the agreement that He has already sealed within their
spirits.
"I Am Calling My People to Rise Up and Follow a Cloud"  "There will be an
envelope that will be opened, and coming are new orders over My Church. In this
new order that is coming over My Church, at first it will cause things to rise
up and cause a stench even to the saints of Holiness. But in that stench there
will come that transformation, of the smoke, which will cause My presence to
come forth. In that smoke, when it is all cleared and everything has settled,
you will realize that there has been a cloud of deposit of holiness that will
remain.
"I am calling My people to rise up and follow a cloud. This cloud will touch
down and descend upon them. In the midst of this cloud there will come miracle,
after miracle, after miracle. For there will be a manifestation of the
visitation of the heaviness of My presence," says the Lord your God. "For I do
go, to and fro from the earth, looking for hearts that at all cost will follow
Me, to make Me a manger that I can lie in once again," says the Lord.
"There will Come Back Smiles and there will Come Back Laughter" "You will
understand that as a child lies in the manger there were smiles, so shall the
joy come back to the Church. There will come back smiles and there will come
back laughter. For I have been grieved by the tears of My Bride. My Bride has
been judged, My Bride has been defiled, My Bride has been abused," He says, "but
now the Groom has entered the sanctuary and has taken the Bride aside and has
reclothed her with dignity, respect and honor.
"Do not be concerned when you get more and more reports that judgment has come
to the House of the Lord. But remember this My people: you are My temple, and
remember that grace and judgment come hand in hand. I do not judge to condemn. I
judge to bring knowledge for salvation.
"And, so I am about to do a new move," says the Lord, "for you will have people
come to you once again who are hungry to get saved. You will have people coming
again asking where is His power resting?" He says, "It will be resting upon you.
I will come in a new wave and in a new visitation of My presence. For I have
seen your hearts that are searching and I have seen the wounds that have been
left gaping and bleeding by the words and the curses of man."
He says, "I am going to bind up the wounds, and in the process I am going to
deposit within that wound: healing virtue of hope. I will deposit within that
wound - supernatural healing."  Written by Eileen Fisher
(From Prophetess Lloyd)  The Holy Spirit has been speaking further to me.  I
have seen a big knob like a knob that adjusts reception on an old television.
Jesus is turning the knob way up as He speeds up many things that He has been
promising to us.  With the New Year, you have new assignments.  You have new
responsibilities.  You have new doors opening.  Listen for God’s orders.
He will be speaking to some people to move.  Move from your present location to
another just like the widow’s house.  When He speaks to you, you will know
that you know.  To some He is saying move from that mountain which has caused
you to be stuck in that position.  You are a mountain mover.  You are
empowered by the Holy Spirit.  To some ministers, do not busy yourself so much
the next few days.  Come aside and spend some time with God.  He has some new
orders for you.  He sees the big picture.  You just have a few pieces of the
puzzle. Trust Him.
(Gal 5:1)  Stand fast therefore in the liberty wherewith Christ hath made us
free, and be not entangled again with the yoke of bondage.(Pro 3:5)  Trust in
the LORD with all thine heart; and lean not unto thine own understanding.  (Pro
3:6)  In all thy ways acknowledge him, and he shall direct thy paths.
In Him,
Prophetess Frances Lloyd

Today's Scripture *December 29, 2009*

Matthew 3: 3
The prophet Isaiah was speaking about John when he said,
“He is a voice shouting in the wilderness,
‘Prepare the way for the Lord’s coming!
      Clear the road for him!’”

John the Baptist "prepared" the way for Jesus by preparing others to welcome
Him. People who do not know Jesus need to get to ready to meet Him.
We can prepare them by explaining their need for forgiveness, demonstrating
Christ's teachings by our conduct, and telling them how Christ can give their
lives meaning. We can "clear the road for Him" by correcting misconceptions that
might be hindering people from coming to Christ. Someone you know may be open to
a relationship with Christ. How are you helping those around you to welcome
Jesus?
Often telling others of what Jesus has done for us personally is the best
testimony of God's love, grace, and forgiveness.

Thank You Jesus for our testimonies of all the wonderful things You have done
for each of us.
Thank You for coming into this world that we might know You and spend eternity
with God.
Help us to be good representatives of Your Kingdom and to show others who You
really are by our lives.
In Jesus' Name, Amen..

Have a blessed day!
Love in Christ our Lord,
April

A Tantrum
December 28, 2009
Did you think that the Lord wasn’t looking when you had your little fits of
anger?  After all you have been blaming God that it didn’t come the way that
you wanted it to.

When I was a little girl, I had my little temper tantrums.  My Mom and Dad
being the good parents that they are made it a rule from the beginning, if they
said no, you can ask once again, but then if they don’t’ change their minds,
be quiet about it.  On a few occasions, I threw my tantrums.   That was my
automatic no, absolutely not!  It was a sure fire failure to get what I
wanted.  My grandmother washed my face with a dirty dish rag.    I am not
sure what would be the equivalent of that with God.  Think about it, my parents
were older and wiser and doing what is best for our family.  It was really an
insult to their leadership to cry about it.

It is the same way with God.  When you have tantrums because He said NO or He
said not now, then you might be receiving a sure fire no, not ever.

One thing is for sure: the Lord reigns!  We must come to the place that we
trust Him completely.  We need to use our faith for all that is promised to us
in His Word.

There is someone maybe even several that has had a really difficult time this
Holiday season.  Things have been particularly lean, but you didn’t go
hungry.  The Lord is saying to you, don’t look at the circumstances.
Don’t let circumstances dictate your faith level. Decide to believe my word
and my prophets that speak my Word.   Don’t accept anything less than my
promises. It didn’t happen because it wasn’t quite God’s timing.  He is
lining His will in your life all up.  He has a plan and a schedule.

There are several who did get mad at God.  Just don’t stand next to me when
you do things like that.  I don’t want to be a crispy critter.

Be careful what you dwell upon.  Don’t dwell on what has not happened yet,
but look at what all God has already done.  (Pro 23:7)  For as he thinketh in
his heart, so is he...  There are some who died in traffic accidents this past
weekend.  But you are still here and able to love God.

If you have not been acting right before God; repent.  Then protect your heart
from any further actions that do not ever please God.  In verse 20, is your
first step; pay attention to the Word of God.  Be sure it is His will and His
way that you allow to enter into your ears.  (Pro 4:20)  My son, attend to my
words; incline thine ear unto my sayings. Don’t get lazy about it.  (Pro
4:21)  Let them not depart from thine eyes; keep them in the midst of thine
heart. The Word of God is alive and powerful and health to me spiritually,
physically, and financially. (Pro 4:22)  For they are life unto those that find
them, and health to all their flesh.  You must be totally diligent to keep your
heart.  The enemy is always trying to get you distracted to block your faith.
(Pro 4:23)  Keep thy heart with all diligence; for out of it are the issues of
life.   And next you must, absolutely, positively, straighten up your mouth.
You want God to use
you.  Can He trust you? (Pro 4:24)  Put away from thee a froward mouth, and
perverse lips put far from thee.  To accomplish all of this, you must keep your
eyes on Him.  Look straight ahead to your vision.  Don’t look all around you
at what is going on in the natural.  Natural things are of no concern to you.
Stay in His perfect will.  (Pro 4:25)  Let thine eyes look right on, and let
thine eyelids look straight before thee.

I am now repeating it.  No more tantrums!  Trust God.  He is the creator of
this universe.  He is love.  If you remember there were lots of people who did
not get to go into the promised land because of their own choices.  If we want
to walk in the promises of God, let us learn to behave as children of the Lord.
We must do things God’s way.  Do you think that getting angry with God is
walking in the faith walk?
