Description

Vintage Snowmobiles is the discussion group for enthusiasts of ALL snowmobiles 10 years or older.

These may include Alouette, Alsport, AMF Ski-Daddler, Arctic Cat, Ariens, Arlberg, Auto Ski, Boa Ski, Boatel, Bolens, Chaparral, Columbia, Couparral, Dauphin, John Deere, Eagle Raider, Eskimo, Evinrude, Fox Trac, Frederick-Willys, Gilson, Harley-Davidson, Herter, Homelite, Hustler-Rustler, Jac-Trac, Jetstar, Johnson, Kawasaki, Kometik, Larson, Mallard, Manta, Massey-Ferguson, Mercury, Montgomery Ward, Moto-Ski, Northway, OMC Snow Cruiser, Phantom, Polaris, Poloron, Roll-O-Flex, Rupp, Sabre, Safari, Scorpion, Sears, Silverline, Ski-Bee, Ski-Doo, Ski-Jet, Skiroule, Ski Zoom, Sno Cub, Sno Flite, Sno Fury, Sno Ghia, Sno Jet, Sno-Pac, Sno-Pony, Sno-Prince, Snow Birdie, Snow Bug, Snow Cat, Snowcruiser, Snow Flake, Starcraft, Suzuki, Trade Winds, Trans-Ski, Viking, Wildcat, Yamaha, Yukon King, etc.

The intent of Vintage Snowmobiles is to promote the open discussion of all aspects of Vintage Snowmobiles, including technical specifications, repair and maintenance tips, performance aspects, conversions, etc. However, denigration and/or excessive boasting about particular models/manufacturers will NOT be tolerated because true vintage snowmobile enthusiasts should appreciate ALL models/makes of snowmobiles. Yes, talk about your old sled(s) with pride but don't put down other makes.

Respectful, polite discourse is expected. No flaming or spamming will be permitted. The "No Flaming" rule is not intended to inhibit "responsible free speech" but rather to emphasize the duty to act responsibly. Responsible Free Speech means that we should act like adults and to treat each other with politeness and respect. Failure to keep the discussion polite, respectful and suitable for family viewing will result in specific Vintage Snowmobiles members becoming moderated or suspended.
