WAM is a email list for people who have an interest in running their dogs in harness and learning more about the sport of mushing, dog care and health as well as other dog activities. It may not be instinctive for your breed of dog to pull in harness but it can be taught to many non traditional sled dogs as well.
Other topics of discussion include: rescue, backpacking, weightpull, training, conditioning, general dog health and diet topics as well as sharing stories and information on our dogs and details of events in WA.

There are 2 sled dog clubs in WA, people train together during winter and new people are welcome to come and have a go and the clubs have equipment to loan. There are several sled dog races each winter, spectators are welcome.
