This site has been created to help you sell items that you would normally find at a garage sale. Examples include: furniture, toys, clothing, household items, etc. No item is too big or too small! Since it's not yet yardsale weather, & regular classified ads are so expensive, why not try listing your excess treasures THIS way?

This VirtualYardSale group is intended for use by those in Jefferson, Berkeley & Morgan Counties,WV as well as Frederick & Hagerstown, MD and Winchester, VA. In order to be successful, we have to be within a driveable distance to each other.

As real Yard Sale weather approaches, members will be allowed to post an ad with info about their real yard sale TWICE before the event. You may also post about upcoming fundraisers. Your original announcement can be posted up to TWO months before the date of the actual event. Weekly reminders may be posted until the day of the fundraiser. Please remember to clearly state who will benefit from the fundraiser.

No: pet posts, dating ads, X-rated links, or general spam is allowed. This is a family-friendly site, & 1 misuse constitutes being banned.

Be sure to list 1 item per post, as some people just skim the subject lines. List your item & general area in the subject line for ease. No email attachments are permitted; however, to boost sales, we will allow pictures to be posted to the photos section of the site. Make sure to state in your ad that you've included a picture. NO adult-oriented pictures!

All transactions are strictly between the buyer & seller. Listowner is not liable for any transactions or their results. Assume all items are in "as is" condition, unless otherwise stated. Transaction details to be worked out offline. Please don't post identifying info to the entire list.
