11)It has a farm of 60 ha irrigated by the High Level Kattalai Canal with rice based cropping system.
12)An Orchard with an area of 6.0 ha.
13)Since the farm lands are found to be sodic, the research on amelioration of sodic soils and identification and evolution of suitable crop varieties for sodicity are mainly taken up under different research schemes.
14)Rice variety TRY-1: High yielding, salt tolerant, medium duration (135 to 145 days). It gives a mean grain yield of 5255 Kg per ha. As against the check Co-43 which recorded 4780 Kg per ha. In salt affected soils of Tamil Nadu.
15)Rice variety TRY-2: salt tolerant, suitable for Kuruvai& Navarai seasons of Tamil Nadu with duration of 115-120 days. It has registered a mean grain yield of 5281 kg per ha whereas the checks of ADT36 and ASD 16 have recorded 4563 and 4669 Kg per ha respectively.
16)Ragi variety TRY-1 : saline tolerant , high yielding, duration of 102 days, it has recorded a grain yield of 4011 kg per ha.
