Description

Get ready for another great evening of food, music, fun, friends, live music, and dancing! On account of the state-wide burn ban there will not be the usual HUGE fire this year, but the party will be as hot as ever!

WHEN: Saturday, January 20th, 2007. Gates open at 4pm, dinner at 5:30pm, and live music and dancing at 7pm

WHO: You and your friends

WHY: This party is a celebration of Life and Life to the full, John 10:10. The evening will be a time to hang out with good friends, eat some excellent B-B-Q, and listen to some great live music. This is a tradition that began in 2001 and it is NOT to be missed!

ADMISSION: FREE (Although we will be asking for donations)

ENTERTAINMENT: Several live bands will be playing that evening. Dancing will be encouraged.

ACCOMODATIONS: You are welcome to spend the night, however, there will be no indoor accommodations. Feel free to bring a tent, hammock or a sleeping bag for outside.

FOOD: We’ve got the main course covered. But, if you’re inclined, we’d appreciate your help with sides & dessert. If your last name starts with A-M, bring a side dish; N-Z, bring a dessert. We’ll set up a big table to share.

WHAT TO BRING: Beverage of choice, boots for dancing, smile, and sleeping gear (if you plan on staying the night).

DIRECTIONS: Austin- go west on 290 towards Johnson City. Take 290 through Dripping Springs. Stay on 290 another 8-12 miles. Look for a brown sign that says Perdenales Falls State Park. Take a right onto Ranch Road 3232. (If you hit 281 you missed the turn.) Follow 3232 all the way to the stop sign and take a right. You will pass by the entrance into the park. Go down a big dip in the road & start looking for signs. You will turn to the left on a dirt road and there will be signs for parking.

SAFETY: There will be off-duty DPS troopers patrolling the area. IF YOU PLAN ON DRINKING AT ALL, PLEASE PLAN ON STAYING THE NIGHT OR HAVING SOMEONE ELSE THAT IS NOT DRINIKING DRIVE YOU HOME.
