Anyone who might come across a small Turner 5-spot and can make an
accurate description of my stolen bike, please either get in touch
with the Oakland Police Department or me.
The thief stole the bike in the afternoon of June 18 in the Lake
Merritt area.
I will offer U.S. $250 cash (no questions asked) and you will earn
karmic points forever for your efforts and kindness.

Noel

Hey there. Hell, we got a lot of people already, great.
As some of you know this has stemmed from a posting I put on CL a few
weeks ago and because of the huge responose, I got I decided to create
this web page where we can all exchange ideas and organize rides in
and around the Bay Area.
Our first outing was to China camp where Geoff was better than a GPS
with his knowlege of the trails there. We also had Wes with his tales
of Utah. Now I feel we should head there some weekend.
Our second outing was to Point Reyes where we discovered Wes
has "Bovine phobia", a fear of those frindly cows. Adam got a quick
field class on chain repair and Tera needs to stop taking other
peoples wheels. Watch you wheels guys...............
I am off to Montanna tomorrow (Friday) for a motorcycle tour and
don't know when I'll be back. I guess sometime next week.
I'm game for a ride next weekend if any of you want to come along.
Geoff mentioned Phoenix lake. Sound good?
The transport situation is as follows. I have a truck and take any
amount of bikes, as some of you already know. I can also bring 5
people so, any more than that will require a second or more car. Bike
racks are not necessary.
Ok, so lets find a trail and see who's going to come along so we can
organize everything. We uasually leave the city at 9.00am.
I'm open to either Saturday or Sunday. You guys figure it out as I'll
be away from my PC from tomorrow but can check the messages on my cell
phone.
Have a great weekend.
Martin.

You are all welcome to IM me anytime (as long as you have at least a breif profile or a pic in your window so I remember who you are) to coordinate or for any
reason...like words of wisdom ;)...faster than email, fewer buttons to push, less waiting in line...I haven't been on a ride yet this season, but this weekend is looking good!

I'm always down to Bike, It's just a matter of transportation there.
Also just biking across to Sausilito is a nice ride as well for
beginners.

I'm thinking of hitting someplace in the North Bay (maybe China Camp or Tamarancho) this Sunday morning. I can carry up to 6 bikes on my ride, buy only 5 people (including me) in it. I live in SF. Let me know if you're interested.

Hey all.
Looks like Sunday we have some riders.
Geoff, want to try Pheonix lake?
I'll sit back on this one and let you figure where you want to go. I'll
bring along the truck for the bikes and ride with you.
Ok, I'm in the Sunset, so if your close by get in contact. I'll drive
to Franklin and Market to pick you guys up. Wes in in the Richmond so
if you live there, get with him on the pick up point. If we have more
than 5 this time we will need cars or maybe a bus.
Here's some of my photos from the Montana trip.
See you Sunday, bright eyed and bushy tailed.

ummmm Dude, tamarancho is a boyscout camp
http://www.mybikesite.com/norcal/trails/tamarancho_boy_scout_camp.htm

but really it does look like a good 10 mile single track ride. We
did China camp and the Rangers were clocking us, I think they'll
give Martin a ticket next time they see him. Any which way I'm down

Hey Adam, Lisa, Linda, and the rest -

So, how about Tamarancho on Sunday morning? Would everyone be up for meeting at the Sports Basement Presidio Parking Lot? Saaaaaayyyy - 9am? Does that work for everyone? As I said earlier, I can put 6 bikes on my ride, as long at they fit on either the hitch rack or the rooftop carriers, but only 5 people in it.. After the ride, I'd be up for grabbing some grub and some drink somewhere up in Marin, as long as we can keep an eye on the bikes. The Tamarancho ride actually costs money, but I think that $5.00 is well worth the cost.

Let me know what you all think!

Jay

Wish I could, but I've already made plans to go hiking.  Anyway, cancel my last e-mail.  I just got a group to go road biking tomorrow.  If anyone's interested in joining us, let me know.  Have fun on Sunday!
