Charlottesville Area Christian Home Educators is a Christian support group that provides encouragement to parents who homeschool their children. Its foundation is in God, through our Lord Jesus Christ and the fellowship of the Holy Spirit. Guidance and direction are revealed through God’s Word, the Bible, and the illumination of the Holy Spirit. In the Bible we are commanded to “provoke one another to love and good works” and to “train up a child” according to God’s Word.

Use this list to ask questions about homeschooling, propose new ideas, invite others to join you for trips to the park or get together for crafts, announce community activities, form smaller co-ops or groups for music lessons, and announce seminars or other information.

There are several small home groups who meet in the Charlottesville area and the surrounding counties of Albemarle, Nelson, Greene, Fluvana, Orange, and Louisa. If there is not currently a small group meeting in your area, why not start one?

Tutors and other instructors, please send messages to the list owner; don't try to join the list. The intention of this list is for Christian homeschoolers to be able to connect with one another and encourage one another in Christ. Selling your used homeschool curriculum does not violate this principle and is encouraged.
