January has seen a shocking number of people needing food assistance
here in Redding and Shasta County. Could we possibly be in the final
generation Jesus spoke about? Are we continually being tested by God
to produce fruit? and show the Love of Christ? Is God calling his
Church to fast for others? "Is this not the fast I have chosen:To
loose the bonds of wickedness, To undo the heavy burdens, To let the
oppressed go free, And that you break every yoke? Is it not to share
your bread with the hungry,And that you bring to your house the poor
who are cast out; When you see the naked, that you cover him, And
not hide yourself from your own flesh?" (Isaiah 58, v.6,7).Is it not
our job as Christians during this "season", to help put back the
pieces of torn lifes, build others up, and show the Love of Jesus,
as well as feed others with the bread of life as well? At Redding
Loaves and Fishes, we by the Grace of God , are determined to do
so...
