How long will you put off going
How long will you put off entering
How long are ye slack to go to possess the land,
 
Many Christians have abandoned their inheritance , they have become slack
Slack ; careless ,negligent .Not energetic ,slow ,not tight or firm ,
not busy or active {Webster }.So many are falling short and are not fulfilling
what God has called them to do .How long will you neglect to go ?
Neglect ; to fail to give the right amount of attention to .To fail to do or
look after especially because of carelessness .{Webster}
So many have failed to look after their souls , others have failed to go forward
and fight the Lord’s battles and take the land .They are content and satisfied
with less than the best .They have settled and have become complacent ;satisfied
feeling about one’s self or one’s position .
They have conditioned themselves to be satisfied with less then the best
,lingering upon the enchanted ground .Sinking gradually to a lower level of
Christian life .Seeking comfort instead of conflict ,ease and indulgence they
remain and fail to go forward taking their God given right to take the Land .
Life has become routine to them and is no longer an adventure with God .there is
still more land to possess but they have settled as if this were their home .
Therefore, since a promise remains of entering His rest, let us fear lest any of
you seem to have come short of it ..{ Hebrews 4;1 }Many are coming up short ! Be
careful that none of you be found to have fallen short !
 
To seek and to save that which was lost is our call ,our mission and our life
.For the Son of Man has come to seek and to save that which was lost."{Luke
19;10}
For many compassion for the lost is no longer a priority but their own gain and
comfort .
We desire that each one of you show the same diligence to the full assurance of
hope until the end ,that you do not become sluggish, but imitate those who
through faith and patience inherit the promises. {Hebrews 6;11 }
 
Our great desire is that you will keep right on loving others as long as life
lasts, in order to make certain that what you hope for will come true. Then you
will not become spiritually dull and indifferent. Instead, you will follow the
example of those who are going to inherit God's promises because of their faith
and patience.
So then do not settle for the mediocre life ,for the path of least resistance,
settling for less than the best .God has called each one of us out from the
majority which will require faith and courage to walk alone with few companions
to possess the land .“For the path of life is a narrow road with here and there
a traveler “{ A.B.Simpson} Enter by the narrow gate ! Launch out into the deep
and let down the nets {Luke 5;4}
 
Throw away the Spirit of complacency ,laziness and slack and go forward by faith
claiming your inheritance .Fight the good fight and discover more of Him
following hard after your first love !
So that Christ may dwell in your hearts through faith; that you, being rooted
and grounded in love, may be able to comprehend with all the saints what is the
width and length and depth and height--
to know the love of Christ which passes knowledge; that you may be filled with
all the fullness of God .Now to Him who is able to do exceedingly abundantly
above all that we ask or think, according to the power that works in us{
Ephesians 3;17-20}
