.....nor do we know what to do, but our eyes are upon You."
 
My eyes are ever toward the Lord ,Unto you i lift up my eyes ,O you who dwell in
the heavens !
Behold as the eyes of the servants look to the hand of their master .As the eyes
of the maid to the hand of her mistress .So our eyes look to the Lord our God .
 
The eyes are the window to the soul .If we keep our eyes fixed on Jesus ,our
lives will reflect Him in all our actions ,  behavior and speech , and not just
that but our path will become clear , the next step will be known .For many
times we do not know what to do ,but our eyes are upon you .
 
We have the capacity to use the Sun's ultra violet rays to produce energy .At my
house here in Georgia we have special lights all along the path down to my house
which is at the back of the woods .The lights have special reflectors that
obsorb and store the Sun's energy during the day .At night they go on
automatically and shine all night using the Sun's energy .As the lights obsorb
and produce energy from the greater source "The Sun"
 
So ,we too have have the capacity to obsorb and produce in our lives power from
the Son of God .The greater source of power is Jesus .We must fix our spiritual
eyes on Jesus daily and be filled with the Spirit ;be filled with the Spirit, {
Ephesians 5;18 }
 
 The lights that illuminate light along the path to my house ,do nothing but
obsorb and store energy all day long .They just sit there and come on in the
night .So too we must often just sit before the Son of God .Remember what Jesus
said to Martha as her sister sat at the feet of Jesus. And she had a sister
called Mary, who also sat at Jesus' feet and heard His word.
 
And Jesus  answered and said to her, "Martha, Martha, you are worried and
troubled about many things..But one thing is needed, and Mary has chosen that
good part, which will not be taken away from her..{ Luke 10;39,41-42}
 
Those who sit at the feet of Jesus ,have understood that life is full of
surprises ,full of unexpected turns and twists .Full of trouble ,problems
,circumstances and situations beyond our control .We are powerless , and we need
power .The very source of life and power is in the Son of God for he  already
knows what he is going to do .As we come before him we must acknowledge our
insufficiency ,our powerlessness , and confess our pride and admit that we do
not know what to do !
 
As we fix our eyes on Jesus his power will enter us and produce the fruits of
the Spirit which  is love, joy, peace, longsuffering, kindness, goodness,
faithfulness,in all goodness, righteousness, and truth..These attributes will be
our very own and unaware to yourself we will be operating in the spirit of God
,the divine life will be realized .It will require no strenuous effort or force
to aquire this life or power .You do not have to strain yourself or work to get
it .No external acts on your part or anyting you must do .
 
Simply look to him and receive .Like the lights along the path to my house in
the woods .They will lead you in the dark . The lights are filled with power
from the sun and shine at night and produce light .So you too will be filled
with power from the Son of God the greater source of power and shine bright even
in the dark places of life .
 
Even the scriptures declare ; The Lord is my light .Your word is a lamp to my
feet and a light to my path .{ Psalm 119;105 }
 
As our eyes and mind behold the word of God and our eyes are fixed on Jesus .The
eyes will see the unseen realm and we will behold the glory of the
Lord in all places , at all times . Jesus said ; I am the light of the world .He
who follows me shall not walk in darkness but have the light of life .{ John
8;12 }
 
So then ..nor do we know what to do but our eyes are upon you ...
{ 2 Chronicles 20;12 }
 
By faith we understand that the worlds were framed by the word of God, so that
the things which are seen were not made of things which are visible..{ Hebrews
11;3 }
while we do not look at the things which are seen, but at the things which are
not seen. for the things which are seen are temporary, but the things which are
not seen are eternal.
{ 2 Corinthians 4;18 }
 
Your path will always be clear if you understand this , because you will know
that  the battle is not yours, but God's......You will not need to fight in this
battle. Position yourselves, stand still and see the salvation of the LORD, who
is with you
2 Chronicles 20;15,17 }
 
The darkness and the day will be alike to you . You too will be able to say ;
When his lamp shone upon my head and when by his light i walked through darkness
.{ Job 29;3 }
 
Others have experienced this and known this in the past .And it is for you today
,God will lead us and guide us through these dark woods , if our eyes are upon
him ...
