Golly gosh! What if WONDER GIRL, spun off from WONDER WOMAN, had been developed into an ultra-campy TV series along the wacky lines of BATMAN or THE GIRL FROM UNCLE? Loads of self-parody, colorful comical performances, energetic Wonder-brawls at regular intervals, and - best of all - death-trap cliffhangers of the most outlandish nature imaginable. What's not to like?

This imaginary show features cute-as-heck Debra Winger as teenager Drusilla Prince, a broad spoof of the All-American "good girl" archetype/icon. Sporting the sweetest of smiles, Dru is innocence personified, trusting and warm, and those ribboned pigtails complete the childlike picture. Her feisty, athletic super-hero counterpart is equally cute and just as naive, easy prey to villainous smoothies. Still, no one kicks criminal butt with more enthusiasm and panache... except for maybe big sister Wonder Woman!

As with the BATMAN series, every episode is based on the criminal machinations of some over-the-top "guest" villain. These nutty characters seem to have two primary agendas: committing an outlandish (i.e. cartoonish) mega-crime, and destroying/defeating/ making a fool of their feisty adversary Wonder Girl in the process.
