I am interested in how you all rate Clive's Books...against... his other
books.
Which you would recommend?

3 categories: GREAT, AVERAGE. LESS THAN AVERAGE
(I am not saying that Clive's work is 'average' but that Clive's 'average'
is way better than most authors 'GREAT')

Here's a list of books I have read so far:

GREAT:
-------------
Imajica
Weaveworld
Hellbound Heart
Thief of Always

AVERAGE:
--------------
Books of Blood 4-6
Damnation Game

LESS THAN:
-----------
Coldheart Canyon
Great and Secret Show

O.K boys and girls! it's time to make your votes count, we have tonnes
of awards to vote on from best gore to best actor, best all time
horror movie to best direct to video release, stop by and cast your
votes, lets find out from everyone who & what the best of the best in
horror are.

PLease vote on the site below:

http://s4.invisionfree.com/HMM/index.php?showforum=36

I have already given my contribution. Vote Hellraiser, vote Doug
Bradley, vote for Clive Barker! You know you want to! ;)

And remember to vote for Frazer Lee and Urbane, the upcoming movie
featuring Doug Bradley, from the same director who gave us "Red Lines"
and "On Edge"! I'm sure Frazer will apreciate it, as well as Doug.
Check ut more on www.urbanethemovie.com !

People need to vote more. Let's make this a victory to remember!

If we vote for the actor & movies we love, we could help get more
projects made. Something like this gets good press in Fango/Variety
etc. There's nothing like an award to make Hollywood listen!

You know i'm right - now get voting dammit! Only takes 5mins to
register at the HM&M boards.

Let's show the horror community how much we loves our
Doug/Pinhead/Hellraiser!!!

at The Booksmith (1644 Haight Street)

For more than twenty-five years, Clive Barker has awed fans and

of words lies equally compelling pictures, paintings and drawings.
Now, for the first time, "Visions of Heaven and Hell" showcases more
than 300 of Barker's most stunning works of art. The author will give
a short talk, a book signing will follow.

Author events are free and located at our San Francisco store (1644
Haight Street in San Francisco, between Clayton & Cole). For further
information, call 415-863-8688 or visit www.booksmith.com If you
cannot attend an event and would like to order a signed book, please
email or telephone the store.

Hi everyone, Some friends and I met Clive Barker last night at the
Sherman Oaks ,ca.Tower records. He did a painting from 3p.m. to 5:30
p.m.. Then he auction off his paintings in the store for charity. Then
about 6p.m. he sat down and signed autographs of his new art book and
stayed for everyone to get there stuff signed. It was about 7:30 p.m.
before he got done with everyone. He stayed and talked with everyone.
He did sounded very sick in the voice and we hope he is feeling very
well soon. We had a blast and we posted some pics of this event. I
hope you folks enjoy them. Happy Halloween!

the place they told me: http://www.wilddelight.info/wcjwl , but what do you guys
reckon? Myself, I actually think it is pretty awesome from what I've seen, and
Im considering getting on there later on this evening. If you don't know what it
is, basically its like a matchingplace, but has few added things I noticed.
Stuff like messenger, vidchat, picsrate, etc. Best part is you can talk to ppl
on vidchat even if you don't have it enabled yourself.

Hi everyone,

I'm a new member. My name is Joel Eisenberg. I'm the author of "Aunt
Bessie's How to Survive a Day Job While Pursuing the Creative Life,"
the first of a series of motivational books for creative artists (see
amazon.com for details).

Clive is the best. I want you all to know I contacted him about
a year ago to contribute to this project, which is primarily
celebrity-driven. He asked me what the book was about. I told him how
a creative artist survives a day job while pursuing the creative
life. He said, "I'll do it. With one proviso: That you understand
going in that I've never held a day job, as I refused to become a
wage slave." Obviously I agreed. What a unique perspective. His
extended contribution is printed verbatim, exclusively in the book.

He talks about his history, prejudice, the beginnings of his career,
how he refuses to be pigeonholed, etc. He is a class act. If anyone
is interested in the book, you can visit the amazon.com link here:
http://tinyurl.com/anxeb

Other authors like Laurell Hamilton also contributed, so feel free to
take a peek.

janos_antipax1

Hello Friends:

I just wanted to post something about the upcoming Hellraiser/Prophecy
crossover fanfilm from Jonathan Kui, HELLRAISER: PROPHECY (2006), a
nonprofit, crossover fan film, runtime 22 minutes, premieres on
Friday, 24 March, 2006 at 10PM at I-CON XXV, in Stony Brook, NY. For
more information, see http://www.iconsf.org

A repeat screening will also be offered at 11:30AM on Sunday, 26
March, at I-CON.

Official Site: www.hellraiserprophecy.com

Hellraiser:Prophecy is also slated for review by the podcast at
http://www.reelhorror.com/ for episode 11, releasing the week of 27
March. More information on that as it becomes available.

You can check their official website at:
www.hellraiserprophecy.com

The MySpace Profile here:
www.myspace.com/hellraiserprophecy

I just had the priviledge of watching the screener copy that will be
shown on I-Con; Don't go asking the Director for screeners just now
though, he'll be sure to let us all know when the final packaging is
done, and believe me, I know for a fact that the EXTRAS will be
definitely worth the wait!

As I'm sure you understand, I'm not talking about the storyline in any
way, so any real review of it will have to wait until after the I-CON
premiere, for now, let me just say that the marriage between the
PROPHECY and the HELLRAISER mythology was very well achieved, and that
this fanfilm's strongest point is the story and the dialogues, written
by Jonathan Kui.

Expect a couple of CGI shots in there, and let me just say CHAINS
GALORE in the film's final act!

So, if you have the chance, be sure to get your ass to Stony Brook, NY
and join the Hellraiser fun, and be sure to give all your love to the
crew and cast behind it!

Hellraiser: Prophecy

"To reign is worth ambition, though in Hell:
Better to reign in Hell than serve in Heaven."
- Satan in " Paradise Lost", Chapter I, by John Milton.

In this short film Hellraiser: Prophecy, one of the first real
Hellraiser-based serious fan-film to be released, written and directed
by Johnathan Kui, a nightmarish concept takes shape: a Second
Rebellion is taking place in the porphyrogene gates of Heaven, as the
Archangel Gabriel leads a faction of dissenting Angels against their
Maker. They mean to strip Mankind of their very essence: their Souls,
seeking a return to a time when they didn't have to compete with what
they believe to be inferior creatures, for God's love. In their way,
defending the Word, stand the Archangel Michael and the rest of the
Angelic Host.

Paradoxically, Lucifer (Jeremy Yost) must choose to side against this
Second Rebellion for reasons of his own. For this he must contact
stronger forces beyond the reach of anyone without a Soul. Powers that
rely on Order, and Discipline, which might help Lucifer maintain the
status quo. The Order of the Gash, explorers in the further regions of
Experience who serve Leviathan, may be such a force. But their
dimension is off-limits to Lucifer.

This is where Natasha (Lori Pyzocha) comes in...

Basically you join their chat-room on their site it gives you a link to those

Pretty nifty stuff I think!
