No one but us chickens.......There is always an eye in the sky !!

The good Lord smiled on this part of N. H. We received only 4-6" of snow,
and, all my trees stayed tall. Downstate they are still out of electricity,
and,  will be for several more days. My friends in West Hartford,
Wethersfield and  Wilburham Mass. were also hard hit. Where I have my cottage in
Plainville also  was hit hard, and the electricity is still out. The last report
said it would be  until Sat. at least. More damage was done at the
campground then during the  Hurricane. My cottage was not hit, thank heavens.
Several
of my neighbors had  hugh limbs hit their roofs, and one lost their front
porch. Two trees came down  across Camp St. Most everyone had already headed
back to Florida, the ones that  where staying until Oct. 31st, are
regretting their decision. How many days  until Spring? gail

maybe,we are also. Ha!
we got 14-16" and were out of lights, phone & water for 5 days. the generator
gave us the refrig. & we could use the water a few hours a day. We have a gas
heater and that warmed us  so we never really got cold. we were getting a little
cranky.The lights came back Wed. night about 9:15p.m.
Brother dave was out the longest Sat.-Sat.
we had a lot of big limbs & branches everywhere!
The town or state did an excellent job cleaning up. Even came around with big
chippers. Now looks ok on most of the side roads.
  ALL the electric companys did an awesome job around here, along with verizon,&
all the tree companies .I thank them.
we are now putting on a new roof Hoping they finish before the rain on Thursday.
all is well here & hoping everyone is also.xoxoxox

i hope the snow holds off til after pay day when i can finish up Christmas  &
get ready for the family party eeeekss!! it's at my house this year. we have had
3-4 new babys this year. brings us to
about 45-50. hope the beams hold up. Afew will be in the basement
on the wii. I'm sure. I really can't wait. We are sooooo lucky to still live
within 20 miles of each other & know we have so much to be thankful for

it went well we had a house full for sure 4 brand new babies
this year. we had 'bout 54 here. almost everyone showed up.
lots of great food.It was lots of fun & seeing everyone was worth
the work putting it together.
I LOVE MY FAMILY. We all enjoyed each other Merry Christmas.

LITCHFIELD, CT (WFSB) - People in northwestern Connecticut have been buzzing
about a mysterious object that was seen falling from the sky Wednesday night.

Police said nothing was found after a Connecticut State Trooper and others
reported seeing the large object fall out of the sky in Litchfield.

Someone was driving in Litchfield around 2 a.m. when they reported seeing a
green, glowing object the size of a whale fall and crash into Bantam Lake,
according to the Waterbury Republican-American.

Around the same time, a state trooper reported seeing the same thing about 10
miles away in Warren.

Emergency officials made several attempts to locate the mysterious object, but
nothing was found.

The search was called off shortly thereafter.
