Tiger escapes magic act, ends up on Vegas streets
THE ASSOCIATED PRESS
LAS VEGAS -- Police in Las Vegas say a tamed tiger that escaped from a magic act
has been captured.
Police say the residents in the city's northwest section reported seeing the
tiger wandering their streets Thursday night.
Police Lt. Les Lane says the cat belongs to Fernando's Brothers magic act. He
says the cat got loose, but "they got it back into custody."
The cat was found in a resident's backyard.
Animal Control and Metro Police are investigating the incident.
Ahem!! I lives here, I pads around wherever I wants, and I don't knows

Time for another story contest. This time the theme is Holidays. This includes
all holidays, from large to small, national to international. You can do
Christmas, Easter, or the more seasonal Halloween. Saints Days, Cinquo de Mayo,
New Years of Chinese, Western or otherwise. All are welcome.
The contest folders will be opened on the 2nd of October and will close on the
1st of November.
All normal contest rules are in place.
Happy writing.

The latest episode in the saga of Faustus the Great, Jack O' Lantern, is now up
in the Holidays contest folder. Take a wild guess which holiday it's associated
with.
Hope you all enjoy.

The current story contest will close for submissions this Sunday. You have one
week to get your entries in. The one that's there is getting awfully lonely. He
won't bite, honest.

I spent quite a few months researching this collection of over 1,600 patents in
pdf file format. Included are all published patents in this area as well as
hundreds of patents of 3-dimensional display & projection technology. eBay item
#360206038974.

Check this website www.beamindblower.com,
<http://www.beamindblower.com> it's pretty neat tech, I like the fact
they are asking people to give ideas or judge others ideas on this
air/invisible tech (is this for real?), it looks true.

two winners. Aye Avast! by nas_4a2 and Spirit Guide by breakdownredux have
jointly won.
Congratulations to both writers, and to everyone else who took part.

Owing to a certain global festival clashing with our scheduled announcement
date, we're giving you an early present and a whole extra day to think for the
latest story contest.
The theme this time is "Doctors and Nurses". Anything medical is allowed, from
Richiardi's surgical buzzsawing, to Hello Nurse from the Animaniacs.
The contest folders will open Friday the 1st January and will run to Sunday the
31st. As usual, all of the normal rules apply.
Paul Watson and Ms Tiger to You, co-owners Cyber Magic Library
Writers have one week to get their entries in for the Doctor's and Nurses story
contest. On Sunday the 31st, the folders will be closed. I hope to see something
in that folder by next Sunday. Come on, writers. I refuse to believe that this
topic has stymied every single author in this group.
Cheers,
Paul Watson, co-owner Cyber Magic Library
I wouldn't say it stymied me - my entry into the Zodiac contest would have fit
the bill :) As well as one in my little tome.
I've entered one of the three I was kicking around for this challenge - enjoy!
