The Contemporary Dance Map started in 2005 as a project of the World Dance Alliance Philippines - Choreographer's Network. It supports dance artists and independently run Artist's Spaces as well as all efforts towards a progressive contemporary dance/art scene.

The Network also curates the Wi_fi:Body Festival of independent dance at the Cultural Center of the Philippines.
