I'm trying to trace a distant cousin of mine:
John Michael Davis. He would have been born about
1940-1950. His father was George Davis from St. Clair,
Shore, Michigan. George Davis had a sister Margaret
Elizabeth Davis, born about 1915. She lived in Grand
Rapids, Michigan. Margaret had at least three children:
Sherwood and twin girls Sharon Ray & Susan Kay, born 2 Jan
1949, cousins of John Michael Davis.<br>George &
Margaret's father was George Davis, born in Belividere,
Illinois - not sure when, may be about 1879. Their mother
was Polly Davis (nee Fisher). George & Polly used to
run a floral business in Evanston, Illinois.<br>Does

was Leonard Allen Davis, his father was Thomas A
Davis. Leonard was born in Kansas, Thomas died in

The dates are about right for Thomas but too
early for Leonard. Leonard's brothers were Otis and
Earl. Thomas married Carrie Gibson. I don't have exact

I just discovered this club today and
joined.<br>My 5th great grandfather, Morris Davis, owned land
in what is now Tyler County, WV in the late 1700s.
When he died before 1803 the land was divided amongst
his heirs. His daughter Mary Davis married Aaron
Rulong in Montgomery County, PA on June 19, 1794. Aaron
and Mary settled in what is now Marshall County, WV
by 1800.<br>I am seeking the parents, siblings, and
ancestors of Morris Davis. I have discovered a family in
Chester County, PA in the 1740s with a son named Morris.
Is this my Morris by any chance?<br>My Morris had
children named Abigail who married a Lashley; James who
died a bachelor and left a will in Tyler County, WV;
my Mary; and at least one other daughter. <br>Does

Looking for information on descendants of Dr.
William E. Davis of West Chester, Chester County, PA,
veterinarian, possibly born March 1860, married Anna Deery of
West Chester, February 17, 1885, in rectory of St.
Agnes Catholic Church, West Chester, died in trolley
car accident in Manoa, Delaware County, PA, on
February 3, 1904. Obituary says he left behind widow and 4
children, but gave no names. Looking for them and their
