Dishcloths. Knitted dishcloths. Crocheted Dishcloths. WE LOVE DISHCLOTHS! We love to talk about them. we love to exchange them. There are also freaks among our members who like to exchange tea bags, Christmas cards and postcards. Deb's Dishcloth Demons is the home of the original Ugliest Dishcloth in the World contest. Others may try copy us, but we had it first.

We can be chatty, even turbo chatty. If you cannot handle a high list volume, this may not be the group for you. My name is Debbie aka jpd aka DTMOAD and this is home for those who love to knit and crochet dishcloths among other items that can be cast onto needles or chained with a hook. Dishcloth exchanges are a bi-monthly event with themes or not, as well as knitting related games, such as bingo, round robins, special once a year exchanges, and whatever else we can come up with to have fun and develop new friendships.

I do have experience with running groups and list activities and I am an active listmom and moderator, and have four active moderators to help me keep things running as smooth as a demon's butt.

These are a few of my not so favorite things that will not be tolerated such as LURKING, spamming, flamming, intolerance of others, badswappers and not having fun. I retain the right to refuse membership to anyone who violates those six simple rules.

When you first join you will be on moderated status, and as soon as you post once or twice, you will be a full member. If you do not post, you will be let go. If we find that you haven't posted in six months, we will sadly assume that you are no longer interested in being a member. If you have a special reson or need for not posting, talk to me off-list. I'm easy. We also do not talk religion or politics, though everyone is free to ask for prayers or good thoughts.

So join us, and if you don't have fun, you can always unsub. Oh, and contrary to the name, we do not worship satan, we are all about dishcloths!
