I remember the exchange, and it seems to be what
you were saying. I believe you were suggesting ways
to get Dem voter turnout at a higher level, and all
your suggestions imlied that Dems are too stupid to
figure it out on their own.

Not knowing who would read my basic message. I
had to consider the possibility, that some democrats
would be new to these ideas. I was aware, that most of
the readers, would be cognizant of these concepts.
However some may not write or speak english as a first
language. You can see my problem. The idea of greater
registration, is sometimes overlooked precisely because it is
simple. Politics is too serious an issue to be flippant
over.

I believe I mentioned poeple to whom english is
not their first, language. But you choose to ignore
that aspect, because you don't wish to discuss issues.
You just want to attack "Liberals" read " Communists"
out fear of an imaginary new regime. As for>all
adults< that is not true in anyone's book, the listed
members of this very club have many people whom are under
18. Furthermore this site is open to public veiw, and
no matter what you claim, I do not think you know
all the ages of the public that view this message
board, And for benevolent interference. I am benevolent
toward Democrats, and stating what I think might help us
win, is not interference, since I was not holding a
GUN to their heads. But you constantly try to devert
Democrats from organizing so they can use their strength
against the Republicans. THAT IS INTERFERENCE.

As far as getting people registered to vote, they
would all be adults. Also, I never once equated
"liberal" with "commuist." That was your idea. As for my
efforts to "constantly try to devert (sic) Democrats from
organizing," it's called freedom of speech. I suppose that
pesky first amendment gets in the way of a lot of
liberal causes.

Oh yes, I agree. It would courage to openly
equate " liberal" with "communist", you hide behind
implication. That shows everyone the cowardice of Republicans
like you. It also shows me that you can not think
things through. If you could, you would realize, that if
we liberals really were communists, you would be
doing your sloppy thinking from a totalitarian "a word
only you use to describe liberals" concentration camp.
Registering people to vote is not restricted to adults, that
is a form of free speech that you ostensibly are
against whenever it threatens the Republican Party ( your
gods ). I have wondered why you keep equating J.F.K.
with Ronney Reagan,( and for the life of me, I can not
find much agreement over issues they might have had ).
The only thing that President Kennedy and puppet
ronney had in common is that, they both rightly detested
communism. This is a point that you should pass along, at
your next John Birch Society meeting, furthermore tell
them that no nation in history, have ever become
communist, unless the people of that nation have their votes
ignored, and are left to starve. So at your next Young
Republican gathering ( ages 45-70 ) remind them that FAIR
elections are the only alternative to revolution, and civil
war. We liberals will also be accompanying the ballot
boxes all the way to the vote counters from now on. We
will also be carrying video cameras, so don't try
anything underhanded. They had better listen to you, for
Japan's sake.

Now let me see, Supply Side Economics is where
the President refrains for interfering with American
industry, allowing the market ( business ) to limit itself.
So when President John Fitzgerald Kennedy, ordered
US Steel to roll back the price increase, they had
anounced just days before, because it would cause too
great a burden on the American public, by driving up
costs on all consumer goods ( A lot more steel went
into products then ) and depressing the ecconomy. That
in your book is Supply Side Economics. In my book,
that is an act of a true President of the United
States of America. I said to my date, at the time " They
will shoot him for that " , I had no idea how right I
was. This is a matter of histroy, see for yourself.

Nonetheless, JFK and RFK each hated big federal government and advocated lower
taxes. This is the 300 lb. gorilla in the living room that is modern day
liberalism.

Come to think of it, I guess unemployed ppl could "strike" by getting actual
jobs. But then they couldn't complain about the "ruling elite," which I suppose
IS their present occupation.

Let's cut to the chase. This thread is borne of
the (forlorn as it is) hope that somehow, this will
happen in the USA. Don't hold your breath. Americans
enjoy the highest standard of living in the world
(outside of Luxemborg and Bermuda, but they're practically
the 51st and 52nd states anyway), and ours is the
best system and nation on the planet. Sorry to
disappoint you.

As I understand the article, government employees
are also part of the general strike, and they very
definitely have jobs. So strike is applicable and accurate,
even if it is not a strike against a company, or whole
industry, but a whole government, and that portion of a
nation that corupts government ,the rich. The French
really came up with a method, for making the rich tow
the line, and be responcable to the society they,
make their living from.
