I've read that there are three major types of demons. The first type began there
existence on earth as gods. They are the forerunners of the more anthropomorphic
gods.
Demons of the second type may also be fallen or degenerate gods, but they date
from far later generations. These demons, also called devils, dwell in
extradimensional realms generally referred to as "Hells," and to this day use
human beings as pawns or subjects.
Demons of the third types are also extradimensional in origin but are
non-humanoid in form and alien in motivation. Some of these demons have happened
upon Earth at some point in their existences; others have remained in their own
realms awaiting discovery by dimension-travelers and sorcerers.
I was just wondering which class of demons is primarily encountered by
demonologists at this time?

Apologies for no new articles or posts for a bit, but things have been
marginally hectic around he lately.

I read this article a while ago and thought it would be a intriguing piece for
discussion considering the sensitive nature of it.

P.A.S:
A group of individuals, prolly medieval enthusiasts found a way to replicate a
near duplicate of the shroud of turin. (sadly this article doesn't hold the
comparison, the one on yahoo does tho)
As such, its believed that the shroud is a fake, but a very convincing fake at
that. Well by the enthusiasts and various people who are prolly atheistic or
other religious affiliations or something.

One Take Away:
The Shroud according to the ability to reproduce it with uncanny accuracy
supposedly suggests the shroud is a fake. It follows the tradition of history
being sketchy at best and confirmational in nature, according to a famous quote,
"history is not real, but something people agree upon"

P.A.S:
One of the top controversies in my opinion, it was found in the collection of a
collector who didn't even know what it was he had.
A supposed lost gospel that portrays Judas in a very different light than the
bible does, not as a traitor, but as the Emancipator of jesus. Judas's actions
being at the request of Jesus himself it seems, however this gospel has been
relegated to Agnosticism due to some of its content.

Take Away:
This says something else about history, not that its necessarily sketchy, but so
much more diverse and static than we thought. So much more of it having been
lost to the ravages of time and Human idiocy.

P.A.S:
Basically, your brain has a certain subjective idea of time and how it gathers
information. One of the people involved in the project to gauge this time
slowing idea stated, "its like your brain records things in blocks". these
blocks are called blocks of consciousness redundantly and they go together like
a strange puzzle.

One Take away:
It suggests subjectivity when it comes to time is simply locked within out minds
and that time is more objective in nature.

My thoughts and why you went through all of this:
History is important in one way, to learn to avoid the same pot hole on the way
to work or home. To preserve what we feel is important to us for the following
generations to do much the same.
Not to mention that sometimes, however we perceive time that we understand we
have so precious little and that we should enjoy it. That is without rushing or
cramming everything into as small a space of time as possible.
Stress is killer.

I know we all at New Years Eve state that this year I am going to lose
weight, or start to write the great American Novel. or go do something
that we all know most of us don't get to do. We all have our best
attention in saying we will do this but we know we hope we can. Will

I for one am looking to better myself and my community in someway if
possible. I am in the planing stages of more events for the Houston,
Texas area. I know we have the Witches Ball, and Pagan Pride Day. But

wiccan other then Samhain and Beltain. Why don't we try to plan events

Hello everyone! I'm Michael, but everyone can call me Jedite (Jedite83). I just
want to take a second to introduce myself.

To tell you all a little about myself...
I am 26 and from Palm Bay Florida. I am a freelance web designer.

I got interested in paganism in 2002 (I was finishing up high school at the
time.) For a while after HS my interest was more or less a passing interest. In
2004 I realized that paganism was right for me and started to seriously study
it.
I joined SCP in 2004 and have been going since (with breaks every so often)
In 2005 I was a member of another group (whose name I will not mention here) and
after a ritual I was accused of bringing bad 'oily' energy to the ritual and
made someone sick. This caused me to leave the group and stop studying all
together. I have since had my energy read by a trained reiki master and was told
that my what I was told was untrue. (As my wife was at one point a trained,
professional chef, I have found out that what made them sick was most likely a
mild case of food poisoning.)
When it was said to me, I was just starting my studies and it was a huge
emotional blow to me and I for the longest time was unable to overcome it. I am
now at a point where I am past what was said and trying to restart my training
(and make up for lost time if possible).
I have found a few wonderful teachers and am studying paganism (with a focus on
the Hellenic pantheon) and wizardry.

Please forgive me if I am not an expert. I am working on learning this stuff,
just like all of you did at some point.


Also there have been some questions asked about my email address.

Welcome those i invited and enjoy your stay, post freely if you come to a
thought or wish to inquire of anything, I am fairly sure someone might know. If
not, i will personally hunt it up for you in spare time i have these days (too
much of it seems). Then post it in the group links for the perusal of all.
I would just like you to understand that spamming is not permissible, hence the
need for approval, Nor is bashing or trolling. We are here to learn about
Demonology and the Occult, not start up entirely unnecessary arguing.
Though I am unsure of the rules if any for adverting your store, book or a event
you are hosting or co-hosting, you have my blessing to go ahead do so. (though
of course keep, from spamming)

Psychic Sunday was wonderful.



My friend Joel who is the owner of Temples Gate dressed as a Wizard in
honor of Halloween there was food and drink provided and there was
music. Everybody had a wonderful time. Joel played the sound track from
the old TV show Dark Shadows, and The Nightmare before Christmas, for
atmosphere If you were not able to come you missed out on all of the fun
Joel even got up and danced when The music called Back at the Blue Whale
came on 60's style. Gods it was a blast. The next fair will be November
15. Same Bat time same Bat location.LOL if you don't know the place it
is attached on the posting below but I will be posting an announcement
closer to the event so if you need any information please contact me
direct. Hope you can attend the next one.
