Need a designer fix? Vogue.com has teamed up with Chanel to offer Net
viewers the opportunity to reserve their favorite pieces from the 2001
Resort Collection in an online trunk show.
Even if you have no intention of buying, it's fun to get a sneak peak at
what could be next for 2001.
Offerings include apparel, accessories and shoes like the jersey halter
top with gold ring ($445), little black dress ($2,065), alligator tote
($18,980) and rose toe thongs with the famous "CC" logo ($395).
The reserve system means you'll get a crack at the goods, which are cut to
order based on pre-order quantities, before they hit boutiques stateside.
Chanel isn't guaranteeing any specific delivery dates (just a window of
early November to late January) So don't buy that amazing $675 bikini with
a special holiday vacation time in mind.
